No one seems to post set up directions for the person that has no experience with hooking up the preamp
From the preamp pedal output, can you plug into the effects loop return input (power amp) instead of going straight into the guitar input of the amp?

Is this AD-2 Will work perfectly and sound like the acoustic guitar to the piezo pickups on a MUSICMAN JPX or JP models with piezo output?..... because I’m planning to buy an LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI, but if this will work perfectly as the LR baggs, it will be much cheaper for the same sound. Because I cannot find any reviews on this pedal used on a piezo on a JPX or any JP models with piezo pickups on em. Replies are appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Will it work with a sounhole pickup? Or with the P90 single coil?
I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Is this an external preamp though? If I have an acoustic with a piezo wired straight to an output jack in my guitar, will this act as an onboard preamp would?
Is this an external preamp... YES this would boost the sound coming from your guitar. Cheasp onboard amp = still a cheap sound. This produces a subtle sound...better with high end guitars. To the average ear.....very little difference

Hi Tom, how would you connect/chain this pre-amp with other effects pedals for an acoustic guitar set-up?
Chris Yap I have the AD-2 and it's connected to my other pedals.
Listening with head phones, it sounds like it adds light bass and room reverb. Not bad if your amp doesn't have reverb and a bass knob ,for some reason. Otherwise, this pedal is just redundant.
B.S. With a great sounding taylor you need to demo this pedal with a cheep guitar.

Wudda been easy enough to crank the amp/sit too close to the amp till you got a little howl to demonstrate the notch.

Cheap guitar would still sound cheap. These pedals sound better with higher priced guitars!
7:05 and 7:08 sounds like contradiction for me.
