Yeah, I was there for 2 weeks in late May in 2017. It was great for the most part. We saw most of what we wanted to see, except Lukang, Tainan, Bo Guan Shan, and a tribal areas. But we attended a Bejing Opera, saw both the historic and modern Taipei, as well as Tamsui, Yehliu, Keelung, Jiufen, Shiffen, Pinglin, Taroko Gorge and Zuoying (by HSR). I really wish the HSR was geared more towards tourists. We lost two days due to heavy rain, but overall, it was an amazing experience. It's different actually seeing Asian culture and architecture in Asia. But we kept getting lost. I also thought it wouldn't be as modern, but the transport is AMAZING. You can travel almost anywhere in the country, even at night, and not have to worry about your safety. Although we found the people, at least in Taipei, to be a bit racist and introverted, and childish, and all those stereotypes you hear about Asian drivers are true. LOL And the tourists from the mainland are SO rude and inconsiderate. But once we got out of Taipei, the people were WONDERFUL! I also didn't like the food. But in general, I enjoyed it, and it's still one of my favorite destinations. I would highly recommend it as an introductory country to Asia. It's both modern and traditional, but not as strict as Japan or Korea. And you won't experience the petty crime and scamming of Thailand. But you need at least a month to see everything it has to offer. HAPPY TRAVELS
Johnny Nomadic I hope you are having fun in Taiwan - sorry it's so hot, August is the hottest time - but at least there are no typhoons heading for Taiwan at the moment!
Taiwan is my favorite country!!!! Three days is not enough for this beautiful country. Anyone planning to visit, please explore outside of Taipei. I went stopped in different cities and islands around the country and it was just breathtaking. Eat as much as you can as well! Try everything!
Been there just last month. Out of six countries I had visited. Taiwan was awesome for me and fascinating. Plus Taiwanese people are so kind and accommodating ❣️
Great video. I found the people there friendly, warm and very helpful. Streets and facilities super clean and food excellent! Scenery breathtaking as your wonderful video shows. Thank you, Aileen.
Wooohhhh....taiwan. Beautiful and clean country.Taiwanese really nice people😘.i stay there 1week safe and comfortable.dont feel like to back to malaysia.😢
Hi Aileen, I’m glad I stumbled upon your video. Earlier today, I’ve been browsing forums, travel sites and blogs about sample itineraries and the chore gave me too much headache that I stopped. My mom and I will be visiting Taipei in early May and I’ll definitely try the day tour. This gave me an idea too to book the hotel near the main station. Thanks!
nice video , made me wanna go this summer ! This will be my 2nd trip ( first one back in 1997 ), might follow just what you did ! THX and have to say, you're lovely !
i love it... i really like how you make a travel video as u don't talk too much, which is really good as we focus more on the view and places of Taiwan. Thanks again. i"m planning to visit Taiwan next month so this is really helpful.
Welcome! I miss home a lot. I'm glad you had a great time here. I recommend the National Palace Museum next time. You really showed the beauty of the place, thank you.
It's been difficult to find a Taiwan vlog that hasn't irritated me in the first 15 seconds (too much dialogue/not enough Taiwan/sometimes even a laugh track - WHY), so I really appreciate the way you made this video. :) Learned a lot!
I love your choice of music, you did such a great job!! but 3-days is too short, it took me an entire week to do a guide for Taipei and still I felt I didn't explore everything the city had to offer, Taipei is so massive
It’s best to either visit in late spring (April to May) or autumn (best in November) if you want comfortable temperatures. For more info see here: iamaileen.com/taiwan-itinerary/
hi i enjoy watching your vlogs esp this one im planning to go to taiwan this november. i have now idea what to expect and to see there. anyway what app or softwre do you use in this vlog? thanks
Shiffen also has a nice waterfall. Ximending is cool. Honestly, there are far more interesting places in Taipei then the 101, but still not bad for 3 days. Realistically, you need at least a month to see everything the country has to offer.
Idk what month it is in the vedio but it is not so cold even in the winter but it's humid. The average temperature probably is btw 10 to 12 in Jan and Feb.
welcome to Taiwan, how was your stay here in Taiwan,,,i hope you have good time and have fun here..Your new friend here tinambayan na kita,,,i know a travel vlogger like you but its so risky if your alone...

Aileen Adalid this is an awesome vid! I’m traveling to Taiwan in August so I’ll be using your itinerary guide on this trip.
The experience was good. Haven't you visited Hualien? It's most beautiful part of Taiwan and the Black sand beach at Waiao Beach is love.

Great video. I found the people there friendly, warm and very helpful. Streets and facilities super clean and food excellent! Scenery breathtaking as your wonderful video shows. Thank you, Aileen.
3 days is never enough for Taiwan, love Taiwan after my 1st trip back in December :)
Taiwan is by far the most modern and advanced country in Asia, the food, nature, and people are simply the best!!
Deltron Lee I love Taiwan but in terms of modernity, it pales in comparison to Japan. I just came back from a trip to both.
Taiwan is more progressive than Japan. Japanese still eat dolphins and outlaw gay marriage.
@@randomness33 agreed, I'm Taiwanese and we still have a lot to go compared to Japan. Japan is literally a role model for all East Asian countries .
Just went there for a short trip. i wanna go back to eat more of their food huhu
Taiwan is such a beautiful country!
*I love Taiwan my dream country, I will soon visit there* ❤️
The free visa here until July only
