It is great to see you making you way to a healthier future. I would recommend you check out the Fit Father Project channel. Their program is amazing - especially the nutrition section.
I started near end of August focusing on nutrition only in the first month. I am 6'2" and was 220lbs. I am now down to 197lbs, losing fat and gaining muscle.
I am not following the fitness program though since I have things I like to do. And, I am adding a Concept2 Rower to what I do.
