Here's the latest in Helldivers 2 News!
We've got a brand new Major Order to kill how many enemies??? We've also just completed our first Major Order in a while, and I "goofed" during my last Helldivers 2 upload. There are some interesting Reddit articles about Chargers and Bile Titans, and SONY/Steam are still doing what they do. Finally, here's a simple, but highly effective strategy to take on huge numbers of Bile Titans and super-heavy elites!

Love how they keep increasing kill count orders while Sony decreases the available # of Helldivers.
Well... No. We just had the American Territories reinstated for duty, but yes it's at an all time low in general. Plus Sony has agreed to XBox players joining, meaning they're not total idiots -- just greedy. Still looking forward to seeing numbers pumped when that list gets reinstated.

I think, after the last "kill 2 billion bots" the devs want to see what is realistically possible with the lower numbers of helldivers. So they open it up to everything to see what er can do.
That's why now all deaths count, both Automatons and bugs.
The total number of enemies we have to kill is the same number for pi 3.141592….

What people don't consider is that said NPCs likely gonna have the same fire discipline as sentries and rovers. Unless something is there to prevent it (unlikely with AH's stance on friendly fire), the NPCs will be killing plenty of players too :(
I have no faith in them. So much stuff is screwed up as it is and there's no question everything after will arrive screwed up.

@@DeadSpaceWing again, I wouldn’t care how effective or ineffective they are, just 6 extra soldiers on the field is in itself gonna create some insane scenarios. I’m all for it, especially if were potentially getting a new stratagem
i don’t mind chargers their built fine. the only thing i got complains about is how sometimes bile titans take 1 500lb bomb to kill and other times it takes like 3 or 4.
That's because the kill radius from the 500kg is absolutely tiny. It has to direct impact Bile Titans to kill them.
The charger being able to turn on a dime, charge without their charge animation, hit you without actually being close to you.. there is so much wrong with the charger right now.
Almost as wrong as the hunter with its insane kit.
The thing that annoys me the most, is enemy weapons (flamethower hulk & spew of bugs) shooting threw cover. That should not be possible. And its so annoying
@@kylestickley8096 now it only happend once in 200hours but i had my 500kg stick into bile titans face, STICK into the face and not kill so i think its not only tiny impact, some bs is happening for sure
35% if i recall right. if the bile titan is in a spit animation it only takes 35% damage that tim eit hits once is a perfect shot with no spit animation the 3-4 if bad timing plus the spit animation being hit every time
The major problem with these recent major orders is, they are built for a playerbase we no longer have. Because of the region restrictions, we lost somewhere between 100, to 180,000 helldivers. These major orders that were once possible regardless of how hard they were, are now impossible if not barely possible to accomplish with those of us that are left.

Bile spewers stacking on top of each other has ALWAYS pissed me off.
Not only do you lower your guard when you kill one, you can't shoot through the dead one to kill the live one that is stacked on it, but the bile spewer can?
What kind of shit is this.
Grenade Launcher is the hard counter to the Bile Spewers. 2 shots anywhere near them pops them. Even if they are stacked up, 2 thumps will pop all that are in the blast radius.
also as that reddit post might try to convince u, u can easily outrun em in light medium and heavy armor all you have to do is I kid u not is dive at any slant when it tries to spit. Like I've outrun em with 3 hunters on top of me in heavy armor :/

@@goldgamer3925 Yeah you can absolutely outrun them, but they are FAST for what kind of creature they are.
They look like some lumbering beast, while they are as agile as any other bug. I don't think their point was that they are impossible to outrun, but maybe it was I didn't read the post.
I think Chargers are fine. The tail is a vulnerable spot, not a weak point. It’s a place your basic weapons can actually hurt, as opposed to just bouncing off.
yes, the weak spot is in the belly, if you manage to hit it, it just takes a bunch of bullets there.

Chargers aren't an issue, agreed. I do think bile spewers need a slight damage nerf so you have enough time to dive or stim when you get surprised by their spray

Quick tip, bring a rover with you, it pops limbs, and bug blood is apparently flammable. That backdraft flame effect is blood guts popping and landing on you. Seems like. Don't let em get close! Happy hunting!

I love the rover but it will probably kill you more than the backdraft flame effect.
If you can one shot a charger with a shot to the heavily armored head, then you shoud be able to knock it down with the same damage to its no armor butt... Just makes sense.

I mean, not particularly. The head is needed to survive, the butt… not as much. At least in the current moment.
No, not nesseserly. Bugs can crawl around with their guts hanging out.
@@bluemaster7530 if we're taking a out damage to the body, the quazar blows armor off and removes the head in one hit, but essentially does nothing if you hit it in the butt. If nothing else an EAT or Quazar should at least cripple it if you hit it in the soft spot.
@@HardcoreSlot not all the enemies contain the same damage out put on them. There are two different forms of bile titans and chargers both with different armor sets and health. The only issue I find with the game is every 1-4 bile titans is some how immune to damn near everything. Like 9000 health for no reason
In the original Helldivers, there were 2 types of “Chargers”, one with a fleshy spot on its rear that was a major weak spot you could take advantage of without AT, and a fully armoured one. So i would prefer it being closer to the first game

In a normal game, you bait the charge and shoot the big butt as it passes you. In helldivers 2, you bait the charge and shoot the back leg and it strips the armor, even the front leg armor if you sustain fire. You can kill a charger pretty easily with a bunch of primaries, its just tough to explain the gimmick to people unfamiliar with it.
You can do that ? I have been focusing all my fire on the butt... thinking I was actually doing something.

I agree but most hell divers are likely casual so the obvious butt point is still the best. It would help increase weapon viability by reducing damage resistance and the overall area the armor covers on the butt.
At the very least harder hitting medium weapons like cb-9, eruptor, adjudicator, dilligence, slugger should take a smaller amount of ammo to break the butt. With the added bleed out time, making it a secondary but viable option. I would like to see more chaff spawns further buffed. This will make light penetrating weapons even more appealing. I would like a weak point added to bile titans to reduce their ability to walk as fast much like the hulk.
My most cinematic kill was when i charge my quasar cannon while the charger is running straight at me. The cannon blows its head off and its carcass stopped right before hitting me. I think the carcass still deal damage if it hits you, i know I've been sliced by dead titan legs before.
@@gabusdeux yeah i do it with the sickle a lot (just like bringing it) and i did it with the plasma punisher yesterday. You dodge the charger and while its stopping and turning, you pick one back leg and fire into it, you can see it strip the armor and if you shoot the front leg on the same side when the charger is now facing you again, itll shred its armor there too. It isnt intuitive and someone had to explain it to me but a lot of primaries that normally bounce off armor will take the leg armor off in this instance.
tbh the only thing i absolutely despise about chargers is when you successfully dodge the charge but they shift to reverse gear, SLIDE back toward you like like they were moonwalking on ice & hit you with the slowest impact who still send you flying 10 miles away ( also those time where you straight up don't get hit but still get the stun/blur visual effect )
My problem is usually with the Hunters and Stalkers. Hunters show up out of no where, all around you, and can fly across the map with their crazy ranged leap. You use to be able to dive away and run and get a stim in, but now you dive, and they are all back on-top of you before you can blink.
Stalkers are just OP AF. They have cloak, they are fast, they leap, their melee is a longest ranged melee ever, it sends you flying which causes impact damage, and is pretty much a one hit kill no matter one. By the time you get up to your feet, assuming you survived, they are right on top of you again. Heaven forbid you are fighting one plus any other bugs. It's a death sentence. Having TWO stalker layers right next to each other, is fucking near impossible. I unloaded a whole clip into one, died, came back to my body for my samples, unloaded another clip....and it wasn't even phased. Rinse and repeat for 10mins, and I FINALLY got my samples and auto-cannon back.

nah, sending you flying actually saves your life more than not. They usually attack you in packs, and when you get sent flying, it actually allows you to heal up, it is the only thing what will make you survive when more than 1 attacks you. Just get the smg that stunts and the revolver. The smg stops them in place, giving you time to either finish it or spread your bullets between targets so you keep them locked. And the revolver is so powerful it blows up the heads of these things easily.
Good loadout for bugs I've found is jar5, laser rover, quasar and grenade pistol. Stalkers go down to 3-4 jar headshots and rover handles the hunters. I've gotten to the point where I can Rambo into 6-8 spawned stalkers and close the nest. Can't remember the last time i died to anything stalker related. The only thing it doesn't handle AS well is bile spewers but you can still drop them in 4-5 shots, their large numbers is usually the issue.
I hate hunters more than stalkers. Their jump homes in on you and hits you 2/3 times, and they follow it up immediately with a weird tongue attack. Not to mention the attacks slow you down. And the fact that there's always a pack of them at once. They're also not dumb and they actively kite you from all directions. IMO that's just too many gimmicks for a single enemy type. It's up there in annoying enemy list together with the eagle-eyed one-shot rocket devastator
The jar-5 dominator is a godly weapon. It’s only downside is the existence of hunters. Sure you can practice and get really good at hitting them, but there’s usually way too many in a swarm, so you’ll want something like the stalwart to clear those hunter hordes.
flamethrowers make EASY work of chargers
It seems like not a lot of players (even high level players) know this. I once ran head first at a charger with a stun grenade in hand and a flamethrower and my whole team of players who were all above level 90 were freaking out and yelling at me for "being stupid," only to shut up seconds later as the charger collapsed at my feet in a sizzling pile. I was around level 30 at the time. They were very surprised. I will remember that moment forever as one of my proudest. To be fair, these players almost exclusively did bot missions, so they weren't as familiar with the bugs.
Was this before or after the flamethrower nerf. Before the damage reduction the flamethrower did what you described. After they reduced the damage, it took 2 full canisters to kill a charger for me. I didn't have the destroyer perked unlocked yet either.

@@sovereigndawn2546 uh, this was before the nerf, but it's still able to kill in less than half a canister... where are you aiming on the charger? If you focus your flames on the armor of one of its front two legs it goes down super fast...

I love using the flamethrower but it does tend to light be up while I'm standing my ground as I spray the bugs with liber-tea. It's not like I walk into it, I literally stand still facing forward spraying and somehow ignite? That really needs to be fixed among other things...
I will actively walk backwards and still get lit up. They really need to fix that. It's unreasonable.

I don't mind chargers too much. What I hate is the endless hoards of hunters that stun lock you AND the damn stims not activating even though I've hit the damn key 5 to 7 times.

The Blitzer counters nursing and bile spewers, you can stop there spew when you hit them in the face with the Blitzer. It's also a good option against stalkers.
I came across my first greefer yesterday! 3 of us in a group, left the spot open to public. A player who was a pretty high level, like 40 to 50. At the end of the mission our group all got on the pelican, then this guy stood outside and called in a 500kg then ran around in circles till it hit and we took off, only to then realize in the rewards screen he had almost all the samples, including the supers and most the rares...

You you still get credit for all that stuff. If some idiots want to feel cool seeing their numbers on a stat screen looking large that's pretty sad. All the Samples, super credits, and other stuff he had on him goes to the entire squad. Doesn't matter if he's the only one to extract or not.

I've killed lots of chargers by shooting explosive weapons beneath them, including a grenade pistol in one case.
I'm not sure how weak the underbelly is but it's clearly less armored than the rest
yes, the undervelly is a weak spot. However the tail isnt yes it's not reinforced but it's a fucking bullet sponge

To be fair, we started off the MO with 2 planets done and the third halfway done.
Tbh I hate the team reload mechanic because of 1 reason, I need to give my backpack to the dude who has to reload me. This mechanic is extremly underused because no one wants to sacrifice their own backpack to reload a teammate and no one wants to risk loosing their backpack by giving to a teammate they dont trust, most people play with randoms and thus no one does team reloads. My solution? Make it so you can teamreload whitout wearing the backpack, it makes more sense gameplay wise and logic wise, its easier to pick up the ammo on the other player's back, it makes it so everyone can teamreload you and you're not in danger of loosing all your ammo from a teammate running off with your reccoiless ammo!
I've constantly wondered why someone can't reload assist me while I'm wearing the autocannon backpack 'cause yer right! It should logically work that way and work easier.
Considering how quickly we can kill a charger by blasting through its heavily armored face and legs with support weapons, I see no problem with allowing primary and secondary weapons to do more damage to its one fleshy part. Maybe light penetrations weapons are still reduced to a degree, but anything above that, even if it's not explosive, should probably do a little more damage. The charger's rear isn't exactly an easy target. It's still got armor on the top, so you have to aim around that, and the charger is constantly trying to turn to face you again. It's like how Hulk heat vents are kinda hard to shoot consistently because they're constantly turning back toward you. Which is a great comparison, because the heat vents ARE pretty vulnerable to primaries compared to the Charger butts (I think?)... I think it'd be fair to give us more ways to play around the Charger's "weak point." It is very weird to make this one squishy part a non-weak weak point.
Hulks can be taken out from the back with just about every primary in the game, the question is how many mags it would take. The fact that even the AMR struggles to kill chargers from the back is crazy. Should all weapons easily kill a charger from the back? No, but not all weapons should be nearly worthless against them if they aren't able to punch through the face or armor. It should be like the tank weakpoint. EAT/quasar can still kill it without hitting the weak spot, but weapons with enough pen should also be able to work in a pinch if you hit the weak point.
The reason is that the charger has a considerably weaker HP pool on the head compared to its abdomen, unlike the hulk. The glowing parts on bugs work the same as the glowing parts on bots, they take extra damage from explosives. So with an Autocannon or a grenade launcher it's easier to take out the abdomen, than try to penetrate the armour around the head.
it's much easier to get to charger's backside since hulk have faster turn rate and more difficult attack pattern, it make sense that the game reward you more for getting the backside of the hulk than it does with the charger.
Well with hulks I recommend taking railgun because you can instakill hulks with good aim on unsafe mode
On the bugs I run the AMR and EAT’s the AMR takes 2 shots to the head on armored bile sewers 1 shot brood commander and armored hive guard in the head and 1 full mag for stalkers just mag dump’em

Funny story about mag dumping a stalker I had 2 uncloak in front of me and start charging to attack I mag dumped one and the other recloaked and jumped away so I started running towards where they came from ran into a patrol threw a air strike at them and turned around and that stalker that ran away uncloaked and started running towards me again so I pulled out the AMR again and before I could shoot him it recloaked and jumped away again I started laughing and said “that’s right run away bitch” as I did the hug emote I turned around finished off the stragglers from the patrol continued running for a few seconds then turned around again to see if the stalker was coming back and sure enough he was he was still cloaked I pulled out the AMR once again and started blasting one of the funniest encounters with stalker’s I’ve ever had

If it performs comparable to the gattling sentry which is really good in hell dive difficulty right now. It might be a total winner. Although im not sure how i feel about the 2x use limit.
Maybe if you could hold q, and tell the troops to follow you. Or perhaps get them to enter vehicles in the future or maybe pilot the mech. But thats just me dreaming.

Railgun is One Shot to the Head. Solid Weapons since it can deal with Chargers again.

Honestly, I just want to be able to damage Bile Titans in the head with the AC, AMR and Laser Cannon; the fact that you can actually and feasibly kill a Factory Strider with those Support Weapons but not Bile Titans is just baffling to me; and then they ask why EATs and Quasar are so omnipresent.
It's PI times 1 billion. Will the next update have something to do with circles, or something coming full circle?

The only time chargers bother me is when there's 3 or 4 of em or when they go ninja mode making no noise as they surprise attack while I'm facing the other direction.

The Spewers damage isn't that big of an issue to me, it's their weird ass cone hitbox for the spit. Hits me when it seems like it shouldn't.
the spewers hp is an issue to me, it has light armor but HUGE hp bar, and we have limited low ammo most of the time we cost a magazine of ammo just to kill one.
@@zadesiriusGrenade Launcher Strategem 2 taps any Bile Spewer when you hit anywhere near it. Once got a bile spewer quadkill with just 2 grenades.
@@zadesirius They don't have a huge HP bar, you're simply not using explosive damage. They take reduced normal damage that's why they seems 'tanky'.
AC 2 or 3 shots and it has aoe for the trains
@@thecornfieldiii2069 yeah, and speaking as an AC main, you still have to try a little to aim properly. With the grenade launcher, you just have to shoot in the direction of their general zip code. Effortless.
What I have found in regarding the chargers: if you unlock the last flame ship upgrade which buffs your damage, take the flamethrower and just burn one of the front legs. Kills them in about 4 to 5 seconds. It used to kill them faster before the flame nerf but it would also have a chance to come back and set you on fire if the charger came at you. But its still very good even after the nerf.
I've personally learned how to matador the chargers quite easily. chargers DO have a "weak" spot on the back, you just need to hit it with an explosive to pop it.
Yes, this is the easiest way to avoid them. Just move to the side when they are close to you. No diving necessary.

Couple autocannon or AMR shots to a bile spewer and it's bye bye bug, just focus the shots on the same body part
Autocannon is great at taking those out. I struggle to take out chargers with it though. You have to hit the back leg twice just right. Seems like 90% of the shots just bounce off. So I've been using both the Autocannon and EAT.

Anything with explosive damage type isn't effected by the Charger's damage reduction on the rear spot, so you can bang away at it with Dominators and the like when it lumbers past you.
That is a fat ass on those chargers, and to be fair, an ass that big would be hard to penetrate with regular small arms fire. In real life as well. So it makes sense to me.

The squishy parts on bugs work the same way that the heat vents work on bots, they don't take extra damage from standard bullets, but from explosions. (Use autocannon or grenade launcher to blow off the abdomen)
My tip with the Flamethrower this order is to definitely bring the personal shield generator even if you're fighting the bugs. The shield gives you that close range protection against enemies that get through your flames and also gives you some protection against your own fire so it doesn't threaten you as much.

@@Sweetroll_Wolfie It's one of my go-to chaff cleaner loadouts against the bugs now. Flamethrower + personal shield gives you that bit of protection so the things that are usually your biggest threat when using it are nullified at least for a bit. Spewer gunk I can't see coming with the flames gets blocked long enough for me to react and dive away, bugs surviving the fire or jumping over and getting close have to get through the shield first to hurt me, even if I step a little too close and end up in my own fire I get a bit of time before I start burning. Even teammate shots get blocked so the problem of getting friendly-fired while taking the front is less of a problem.
If any of yall are having trouble with bile spewers, grab yourself an arc 12 blitzer. It pretty much hard counters the spewers. As soon as you see it about to vomit at you just shock it with the blitzer and its attacks cancelled. And it only takes a couple of shots to outright kill it on helldive difficulty. And if they are bunched up, remember a dead spewer is essentially a bomb waiting to be popped.
Bile Spewer note: the often overlooked Grenade Launcher Strategem takes them out in 2 no effort shots and it can be fired in very quick succession at significant range. Once killed four spewers at once with a double tap.
autocannon can also 2 tap them from almost any angle so bile spewer are less of threat than a hive guard to me
AMR also shreds them quickly

Chargers should stay heavy duty, I don't think they need a weak spot. Currently it takes about 3 mags of primary, a headshot of support, or a leg shot of support after which it takes half a mag. Chargers are supposed to be a threat, same as the titans. When I do Helldiver missions in a full squad of rando's, I don't even die anymore. Only when I solo Helldive it's pretty challenging.
upping the charger spawns also doesn't really effect it that much, more often than not they just run into eachother if you last-minute dodge like it's a Tom&Jerry episode. If you want to make chargers more difficult, make them invisible on radar and increase their active radius.
It amazes me how often people forget the utility of the buddy reload with backpack support weapons. That is one of their core mechanics but everyone is so used to using it solo
Its because you have to drop the backpack, if anyone could come up to you and teamreload you while YOU wear the backpack I swear to god youd see it happen a lot more. It more convenient, makes more sense and would be a lot more enjoyable
I remember the Bile Spewer wrecking 12 of our respawns after dropping because they kept coming at us in packs of 3's or 4's. This was Suicide difficulty and my god I couldn't drop any special kit to help me because I never had the chance for it even.
You kill the one pack, another 2 packs show up. I've never been more annoyed.
I would like to see the damage reduction to non-explosive weapons reduced from 90% to 70% so that if you do need to unload a magazine into a charger because you've got nothing else it will eventually do something

A few other weapons do have the backpack loading system. Try it with the Autocannon, Spear and Airburst Rocket. You'd be surprised at how nasty these *all* can be when tandem reloaded like that.
I feel that there should be at least 1 weak point on a charger to make primary weapons still viable. When I land in a mission and am immediately faced with a charger before I get a support weapon, it's a bad time.
I've taken out a charger at the start of a mission by dropping my support weapon hellpod right on it. Although I admit it's not easy to do.

there are primary weapons that can kill chargers both frontally and backside. It's not easy to get to hulk's backside tho. Not to mention EAT stratagem can kill 3 chargers per minutes.
Chargers are easily delt with so long as you don't make the mistake of trying to run from them. When they charge at you just run straight at them then veer slightly off to one side or the other shortly before you get to them and they'll just run right on by. Primary weapons are intended to be used for dispatching lightly armored enemies. You have a boatload of stratagems and support weapons specifically made to take out heavily armored enemies like the charger. I promise that once you've played for a while you won't even see chargers as a threat.
@Soknik01 I know all of that. My point is that sometimes I don't have access to strategems, or I don't have the time to enter the code, etc. What I want is for the chargers to have 1 weak point so that even if I only have an average primary, for some reason, I can still take them out with skill rather than firepower.
I meant to get the flamethrower order done before I went out to work this afternoon. Thought it was on 5 difficultly, using the power shield and the rockets turret are in auto gun turret

Bile spewers are easy to take out with a simple eagle airstrike or 2 shots from the granade pistol
Also Grenade Launcher is the hard counter against them

Yes. Bile Spewer is like Brood Commander. It is a formable opponent not to take likely. I use to use my Eruptor on both Spewer and Brood Commander to counter them. Now it's like facing a charger but with more ammo counts. With Eruptor, it was only 1 or 2 shots, but they patch it up that it's a pea shooter with atrocious ammo capacity.
The railgun wipes out bile skewers. In fact, that weapon is amazing against absolutely every bug except for the bio titan. Now that they buffed the penetration it can two shot charger legs again like it could in the beginning. The rail gun is back on the menu!
People complaining about not getting medals after major orders clearly don’t know there is a 250 medal cap if you are not spending them.

I had 112 medals with 13min left before the major order ended which I did participate in. 13min ended I didn't get them did two missions thinking it would refresh it and still didn't get them logged off and got on an hour later still nothing
4:45 @LtBuzzLiteBeer Fellow Helldiver here. I tend to kill Chargers quite easy without the use of the Queso Cannon. I use the New Smg from the Polar Patriots. If you are able to hit it in the Back Abdomen (Back side) you are able to stun lock the chargers with ease. They just sit there and take bullet after bullet. It take about 2 to 3 mags to kill it. It is a lot but most of the time you won't need to because if your teammates see the charger is stun locked, then they will use that opportunity to kill it. You don't even have to hit the back side either. If the armor of the leg is taken off the charger than shoot the leg. They go down in about 1 to 1 1/2 mags while being stun locked and not able to move the whole time. Hope this helps.
For chargers, if you move towards them at about a 115 degree angle or 75 degree angle (a little left or right) you can easily evade it without even sprinting or diving out of the way most of the time

I really like that they give a strong stratagem to all players (500kg). My low level friend with not much time to play had a great time when he joined us. He loved calling down the big boom. Good from Arrowhead to give us some help with this major order :)
In the first game chargers worked as you'd expect with their ass being a one hit kill with rocket launchers and the armored front taking several. But I think I kinda like it that way too with the ass being a kind of last resort area so you're still able to kill them even if you're ill equipped.

I really do think that the backside of the charger should be a weakspot. Maybe not "weak" but it shouldn't have any damage resistances. That's just how you design those enemies in games for it to feel good to fight against. The post makes a great point. You shouldnt have to take meta weapons to deal with them.
It makes no sense for the team reload for the other guy to wear the ammo backpack. If you wear the backpack, the team member could easily reach the backpack. If they wear the backpack they have to reach around their own back to pull a heavy weight out one handed. Plus real world ask of another player to give up their own backpack slot.
That recoilless team load supply pack combo is from the first game! You get like 30 rockets before running out, it’s awesome! It requires a lot of coordination with your teammates.
Another amazing trick with the recoil rifle is to stop the animation immediately after it is loaded and it saves you one or two seconds on each reload. I open up the strategy menu to stop the animation. It makes loading so much faster.
I am actually surprised people havent figured out that you *can* chip charger armor if you hit their legs in the right spots.
I do it frequently, and have been doing it with the purifier

Wait so you guys don’t know the weak spots in the bile spewers? The armored one is the butt, the unarmored is the head. Also flamethrower is extremely effective against chargers. About a little less than half a canister will kill a charger.

I agree with the charger thing, it's just confusing to not be a weak spot. I think one of the issues is that there might only be 2 "armour" classes on a mob, weak spot or no weak spot (armoured); no lightly armoured, partially armoured etc. That might explain why usually the head is the weak spot, otherwise it's just armour. You can "strip" the armour, but it's still annoying. It would be good to be able to have varying levels of armour on a mob depending on the body part

My son and I usually do a recoilless each and reload each other. then throw a resupply down behind us. The rest of the team deals with the leftovers that the mortars don't kill and rock quasars and EATs. Didn't know Sarge was a teammate of yours. lol
I just don’t understand why SONY is doing this. They’re a business designed around making money, why wouldn’t they want to sell the game everywhere they can, especially after walking back the decision that got them removed in the first place?!

Been doing that reload resupply tack since like week 3 of the game, went crazy in a lvl 9 bot mission.
Its a stretch but do we think the major order being pi might be hinting at illuminate filling up the rest of the unfinished circle (the map)?
On Chargers, I think that adding the backside as a weakpoint for non-explosive weaponry would be good. I think this because in the heat of combat chaff won’t allow you to as easily focus on the charger butt, whereas something like an EAT, QC or RR have a much easier and faster time dealing with this. I think it balances it out.
Chargers are fine people need to use the right tools to deal with them. Maybe minor change to how they look so people do not get confused but there is already enough info about enemy units. And let's not forget that it's a team game.
In regards to the flamethrower, you just need to check the direction of the wind. You can do so by looking at the movement of the plants, trees, dust, snow (or whatever). Just don't stand downwind.
Hey, my game still crashes about every 15-45 minutes on pc (it’s like a lag spike, then freeze frame and crash) anyone find a solution to this?
The biggest issue with the spewers is how quiet they are. Blitzer and Arc Thrower interrupt their spew attack which they telegraph blatantly
Just bring the Blitzer and have fun with it until it is nerfed
The amount of people that don't do, or know how to do, team reloads is criminal, the ability to take out heavy targets quickly, particularly when there is several of them, without using stratagems can be critical when trying to outpace the mission clock.
I try to do this all the time with my RR and AC with the randos I drop with, but it rarely catches on. I found the best way to get a rando to actually get on board with the idea is not to throw down my backpack and ask them to reload me, but rather to throw down my weapon and offer to reload them. Randos just want to shoot stuff, they don't want to be stuck playing second fiddle to you while you take out all the big stuff. If you treat randos like the children they are (even if they are full grown adults with voices deeper than yours), you'll have a ton more luck.
I know for a fact the breaker can de'tail a charger i am not sure if it's 2 or 3 clips though to do this, but only if you hit the orange underbelly at the back, the thing with the charger is that they have a massive HP pool so even though the back belly is a weakpoint you still have to go through HP which is why baiting for it to charge you dive and wait for it to turn around with the head shot is a better option.
Really appreciate the update on countries or areas un banned. Found it sooooo strange that Puerto Rico and some other US territories banned. Did not make sense and I hope they keep at it to have more players.
For the bile spewers I carry the scorcher for my primary and it usually take 3 shots to the belly. Gun is really strong just runs out of ammo quick

The problem I have with chargers is that they're more of a check on your team's cooldown management, and something you absolutely need to use support ammo or stratagems on.
Killing them is 'very easy' - just bait a charge, then quasar/AT them in the noggin once they turn back at you.
If would be very interesting if they where sturdier against AT, and weaker to typical weapons.
If an AT to the head would instead break their head armor, and stun them for a moment, letting you quickly finish them with a light/medium ammo weapon, AT would be in a slightly weaker place (which is what I'm aiming for here).
In exchange, it would be nice to see shots to the butt cause more bleeding (not to make it faster to focus down a kill, but to allow charges to eventually die in protracted fights where you have no AT and can only squeeze in a few shots now and again), AND to allow medium-high pen weapons (Anti-Material rifle, Autocannon, Railgun Safemode) to strip the armor off of legs with a couple shots.
Charger inside the back leg is possible to kill quick with medium penetration but difficult to get the right angle.

Spitters are actually fairly easy to kill with grenade launchers, was my go to bug weapon for a long time till i fell in love with the flame thrower. Airburst fragmentation is also really good too.
DEFINITELY leave chargers as they are. It gives high value to the divers that choose anti-armour weapons and make that sacrifice to the strategem slot and/or backpack
