Why Hasn't ANYONE Done This??? WIRELESS Amp Channel Switching using your GUITAR!

- What if you didn't have to run to your pedalboard right before a solo. I came up with a way to switch my amp channel wirelessly from my guitar.

How would you use this system with your setup?
I would like it to switch between three sounds
With Midi (Kemper)
1 clean
2 rhythm
3 solos
and would like to be able to switch between two channels on my guitar amplifier with a stereo jack
I've done some midi vids in the past and I like people who think like this, you earned a subscribe
Thank God you’ve used your genius for good and not evil.
🤣🤣🤣 This has to be one of my favorite comments!
Nice job brother! Bravo!
Badass concept!
Pretty cool! So many possibilities ...
This is just amazing! You won a subscriber! 😀
I am in! great idea
I had a wireless system back in the days with a buid in channel changer buit i don't remember the brand, it was more than 20 years ago. I've sold it because i preferred a cable
That's interesting
I like the idea , I could use it strait up with the JP2C+ midi(ground control or boss gt-1000), but I would like it to be in small pack on my strap not in the guitar. I beleive Herman Lee does this with his bluetooth finger ring.
I'd say the only only issue is being able to service it once's self on the fly should anything go bad. It's certainly a cool idea. I think and old kiko loureio model had a similar thing with effects integrated but nothing quite this advanced.
Yeah, especially if you don't know the in and outs of it like myself.
This is brilliant. I have a Line6 JTV59 Variax and a helix floor. In the past I've used the Cat6 cable to be able to connect the guitar to the Helix and control patch changes from the guitar, as well as have the helix tell the Variax to change guitar and pickup types as well, which is AWESOME. BUT it's NOT wireless. I'm still frustrated that Line6 hasn't come up with a wireless solution for this. In the mean time, I'm using a combination of wireless and some other MIDI controllable effects so if there was a solution for this within a reasonable price point I would certainly consider it.
Thanks! Just out of curiosity, what do you think a reasonable price range would be?
@@ManBunMetalHead I guess it depends on whether it's a complete DIY kit or a mostly assembled box. Obviously there's DIY work needed to add it to any guitar. only you can determine your parts/labor cost, but I'd say if you kept it to $150 or under it would probably be in what I'd consider an affordable price range.
@@goodheartmedia Appreciate the feedback.
Super cool concept but hard to imagine why you would need it when having a switcher that can do all this. Interesting nonetheless 🤘
I aim for the singer when running onstage.
🤣
@@ManBunMetalHead all joking aside, this is brilliant and well thought out. Very nice work.
well it's seems a good Idea
FUCK YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is VERY COOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do it!!!
I had the same idea for switching delay on/off and not having to run to footswitch. It's the idea pile I might try out some time.
How did you implement the battery level check?
I used an analog channel on the Arduino to measure the voltage. But because the analog input is limited to 5V, I used two resistors to create a voltage divider to halve the voltage. I think they were around the 50 kohm range.
Fuck yeah that's brilliant
I work as a guitar tech how do you know what kind of mini code it sends out your pedal
Can you make it work with a kemper
I had to program it to send a normal program change over a specified MIDI channel.
As long as the Kemper has MIDI in and outs, it should be possible.
@@ManBunMetalHead 🙏🙏🙏🙏
If this was made into a more vaible system i would buy one for every one of my guitars!
Hello boss :-)
Have you seen my mail
Not sure. Email, Instagram, or Facebook? When did you send it?
