Yellow man one of the greatest DJ out of Jamaica,as a young youth living in Kingston I used to sneak into dance hall soon as yellow take the microphone🙏🏿👊🏿❤
I'm a professional Rock-Photographer and had the honor of meeting/Photographing K. Yellowman & the band back stage. He was funny and sweet and sexy! Then he did a fantastic performance. Amazing night! PA
I just saw Yellowman in Las Vegas performing and what a blast. Yellowman, thank you so much for getting out of your van to take pictures with me. You're a real legend. Stay blessed my friend.
@@monurajput5608 That's awesome! I got to work with him (I'm a rock photographer in Philly) back stage and photograph on stage as well twice now....he is the closest thing I have experienced to a super hero. He took a huge hit w the cancer he had & just got right back on stage & is fantastic!!! Total inspiration.
Love Yellowman musician poet and comedian I can't understand a lot of what he's saying but the Jamaican language is very easy on the ear so that his singing becomes quite soothing and hypnotic
Takes me back to 1984 my mate had tapped on vhs video tape got me well hooked on reggae loved it ever since brings fond memories of me and my friend [rip} back in the 80s
When reggae music was truly graceful in dancehall style. 1984 Michael was in peak season, that was one year after thriller album releases. All nations was living Michael Jackson at that time.
Yellowman is legendary. He was the first dancehall superstar to get a US record label in 1982. At one time in Jamaica after Bob Marleys death ,he became the most selling reggae artist in Jamaica for a while. Bob Marleys family would invite him to their house so he can toast (rap) for them.
I love his ode’ to Michael Jackson with his outfit! Billie Jean, Beat It, Thriller all came out in 82’ and you can definitely see Michael’s Style in what the legend Yellowman is wearing, and even in some of his mini dance moves!! So cool!!
