How to PAIR the ONYX STUDIO 6 wireless Bluetooth speaker to a smartphone (Android & iPhone)

This video describes how to pair the ONYX STUDIO 6 wireless Bluetooth speaker to smartphone. In this example we use an iPhone, but it works in the same way for any Android phone.
Also, older models, like the ONYX STUDIO 5 or ONYX STUDIO 4 can be paired in the exact same way!

If you don't have the answer to this, I'll have to break out the manual, and fire up the cell phone flashlight so I can read that tiny print, lol. How do you use the HK as a speaker for the cell phone?

Thanks for the video. However tmy speaker doesn’t seem to remember my iphone. When I try to pair them by clicking on HK onyx the speaker only makes a sound and the connection fails...

You should be able to pair two speakers together with the Connect+ feature.

@@MegaSafetyFirst when I press the middle button it goes from red to blinking white for a couple seconds but then it goes back to read and that's after it makes that echoey weird sounds like it's coming on .
I have my phone set on Bluetooth and I also did manually put the speaker on Bluetooth .
I have the portable battery charger or whatever it's called plugged in .
I just don't understand what's going on with this thing

I do have a important question that most people probably don’t think about. Should I switch the iPhone’s mono setting on when listening to music since it’s a mono speaker or does he speaker account for that somehow? I don’t want to lose instruments or vocals entirely in the miz

That is a good question!
The DSP inside of the speaker takes care of mixing both channels before sending the signal to the amplifier. So nothing of the original recording is lost (other than it not being stereo anymore of cause).

To use the speaker with aux cable, simply plug it in the cable and turn on the speaker.

yea i have a note 20 ultra, and the speaker paired with my phone then when i tried to use the speaker its says i need an app, ive never had to download an app to use a damn bluetooth speaker
