It is supposed to depict a difficult situation where the enemy is not like the Taliban and actually aim, ok great premise for burning off some characters. What actually happens: They proceed to mow down 200 well trained soldiers accompanied by light AND heavy armor in an open field whilst hiding behind a few rocks. Minimal/No fire and maneuvering whatsoever. The Delta sniper is siloueting himself on top of a big rock. Is taking shots at 900+ meters and through the scope he can see if the enemy has shaved or not with ZERO image distortion. Runs over a field at 10 kph like he shit his pants. Him and his buddy don't get hit while getting fired upon by what seems a whole regiment. Delta operator is doing 2 optic swaps a second whilst shooting his gun in practically continuous fire. Delta operator crossed the ENTIRE line of fire to rendevouz with the main element. Then proceeds to arrive from behind?? Delta operator leaves his OP and starts engaging targets with his .300 blackout at apparently 900 meters. Reinforcements arrive while walk shooting obliterating practically al enemies and taking no casualties. A minibird does a strafing run killing everyone in a 100x400 meter zone. A few characters get clipped but stay alive for casevac and make it to base. Enemies are not getting mortars or grenade launchers on target. Tank just floats in without a protecting unit getting destroyed by one AT4. The driver is sticking his head out of drivers hatch during combat and the hatch is open because there was a gunner on the remotely controlled machine gun???? Common bro, this was was one of the most amateuristic depictions of a gun battle i have seen in modern cinema. WTF.
a vulgar ending for an original series. All of season 2 was good except the last episode which was totally ridiculous. All because of a grotesque fight scene where the main characters escape without human losses. As they confront soldiers of the “Iranian army”. How can a squad of less than 10 soldiers decimate around fifty Iranian soldiers without one of them succumbing?? RIDICULOUS
@blakerutlandd What a childish comment. US army is not the only one with elite soldiers. 🤣🤣 That was not a group of Talibans, but a army of a country that is about to get nuclear bomb. 😳 Even a group of Talibans fight better than that. Absolutely nothing was right in that episode. There are many war movies out there and this episode was really far from reality. The director wanted to keep his characters alive. That was really stupid. The fight scene was absurd and ruined the entire season. 😭
Also, let’s not forget that practically the entire team (Josie, Two cups and a few others) were all severely injured several of which looked concerning enough so it could be argued that while we didn’t see them perish during the fight they could be looking at being discharged or die off screen
3 of them were severely wounded. 4 if you’re counting the pilot. There were 2 delta snipers, and a mix of marines, seals, and deltas in Joe’s unit. Until the end when 2 squads of delta’s showed up and annihilated everyone. These guys are not regs, delta’s are tier one elite and even put seals to shame(excluding team 6) Not to mention, had they not been saved in the end, Joe’s entire team would’ve been killed, including herself
Should've included a M249 SAW Gunner in the Fire team. And they also should've had an armed Predator drone for extra firepower watching from the skies before reinforcements arrived
at the beginning she got goggins eyes after ultra run
Best season finale ever, Taylor Sheridan is a genius🥰🥰🥰🥰🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

You’ve never met a seal, or spec ops have you? lol Those men and women are the apex predators of the entire world.
