Anyone else notice the clown character is supposed to be Pennywise. Its name is "T.H.I.S." very similar to "I.T." And it almost looks as if its shape shifting a bit.. 🤔 fingers crossed this games becomes a success and they do get character licenses. Seeing Pennywise in a video game would be sooo dope.

This game looks absolutely ridiculous and insane. I never heard of the first game, but i will probably buy this game. Love fighting games, and this looks crazy enough for me to enjoy. Definitely gonna keep an eye on this one.
I played the first one when nobody even knew what it was B4 Candyman and Pinhead was released..it was a great fanmade game..I also liked how they Incorporated the movie covers on the loading screens..I'll definitely keep my eyes out for it..
Two things stick in my craw... 1) Frankenstein should be called Adam or The Creature as Frankenstein is his creator's name... 2) T.H.I.S. does not look legally distinct enough to avoid claims of infringing on Stephen King's It... I do like the idea of incorporating urban legend characters like Bloody Mary and The White Lady...
T.H.I.S looks like it has a giant mouth protruding from "IT's" chest and an alien like plant growing from it's shoulders.... I think it's supposed to be a hybrid of IT and The THING. Would probably just escape copyright issues with both properties by combining the two. But only just.

Arale Da Slump G0D Well Yeah of course, he never treated him as a "son" more of a monster and always referred to him as "The Creature". My point is Frankenstein's name has become synonymous with both the Creator and Creature that most people assume that is the creature's name, which in a way makes sense as Victor Created the Monster, so it would make some sense he would share a name with his creator. Hell, the Creature became sentient enough to walk and talk properly, whose to say he's taken the name Frankenstein or given himself one? He was even there when his creator died because even though he hated him for how he was treated he still somehow managed a bond with him. (Those last two sentences are just a thought)
So cool! It tickles me a bit to see support and effort for a sequel. I haven't played the first one but the premise I thought was unique for a 2D fighter. Good luck I hope this game hits it's mark!
I'm honestly very impressed by the graphics in this game compared to the first one, you can tell they worked very hard on this. I'm excited to try it out!
I hope this game gets the friday the 13th treatment and all the owners of popular horror icons let them use them again. Would love to see a bigger roster with the likes of pinhead, ash, ghostface, jason, freddy, chucky, etc be used again and of course have the game released on all platforms. I know that's like grabbing stars and forming them into planets but... a man can dream 😅
It's crazy how I was expecting this game to be made, granted I did think it would be by netherrealm, but that doesn't stop the hype, I do hope they will get to use licenced characters later because that was kinda the big thing in the first one, but if not it's no big deal I'll still be getting it regardless

Frankenstein's Monster here reminds me of the one in DC comics, who is a space traveling bounty hunter. This game looks promising already. Enjoyed the first one a lot. Really hoping they improve on all that made the first game great, adding depth to the fighting system so it will draw the attention of the pro fighting game circuit as well a deep story mode and of course more characters. I will definitely be backing this kickstarter.
Boogeyman 1320 I wouldn't mind stage fatalities. I just wasn't a huge fan of the trophy finisher it was kinda too easy to do in my opinion. If they want this to be a good selling game they need to put maximum effort

The roster aside what would be cool would be different modes or filters like a black and white mode with crackly audio like the old movies. As far as characters movie monsters is a sweet move since there are so many classic unlicensed options, maybe a gelatinous blob creature, a creepy hitch hiker type guy, a banshee, a Roswell alien.
As much as it sucks to not see any licensed horror characters, the characters look intriguingly good. I'd love to see a necromancer based character, Jersey Devil, Wolfman, and the Boulet Brothers (for fun).

It looks really good, hope they are allowed to use more of the horror film icons. Graphics are as good as MK9 I’d say, which is really good for a small company and the engine they’re using.

Cool, just a little gripe though, they've gotten "Dr. Frankenstein" and "Frankenstein's Monster" muddled up. Hopefully they realize and change it though.

YellowJeff94 Jeff the killer is copyrighted and man in black too but there are other men in black characters different from the movie version which are not copyrighted and they can be used for the game. The rest of the characters you listed could all be in the game

It looks amazing so far.....the gameplay is much more fluid than the first.....just wish we had some of the popular horror icons instead of these lesser-than evil characters no one really cares about lol.....any chance of this coming to consoles or mobile devices?

What made this game good was that it used real movie villains. With out that aspect it won’t be the same

It looks really good, hope they are allowed to use more of the horror film icons. Graphics are as good as MK9 I’d say, which is really good for a small company and the engine they’re using.

Cool, just a little gripe though, they've gotten "Dr. Frankenstein" and "Frankenstein's Monster" muddled up. Hopefully they realize and change it though.

Looking at this footage makes me miss Darkstalkers. This will be the closest we will get. I would love a Zombie and Werewolf type characters.
John Coniglio Werewolf is the most requested so he will be in the game and a zombie could be in the game too

They could also include: Black Dahlia, Man In Black (agent), Mummy, Werewolf, Jeff the killer, Wendigo and others I may have missed. Just random ideas of my attempt with relating to the topic and cast based upon fictitious and real figures.

YellowJeff94 Jeff the killer is copyrighted and man in black too but there are other men in black characters different from the movie version which are not copyrighted and they can be used for the game. The rest of the characters you listed could all be in the game
