X-Men fans, the time has come. The final trailer for X-Men 97’ has arrived! And after watching all of these episodes, it makes me sad that we have reached the end with this final trailer. But I’m also VERY excited because we only have three episodes to go and who knows what is going to happen! Today I wanted to watch the final trailer with you all and break it down shot by shot so, join in on the discussion, and let’s get going!
X-Men 97 is one of the greatest shows around and seeing all of these incredible characters back in action is something else! Especially done right… Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Magneto, Beast, Jean Grey, Morph, Professor X, Mutants, Rogue

That last line about black leather was a joke towards x-men 1 after the movie Cyclops says "what were you expecting, yellow spandex".

This season is ending. Season 2 is confirmed.
Looks like the mansion was attacked. The team scatters to escape the onslaught. Wolverine/ nightcrawler was defending themselves. Jean used her barrier to protect herself, Cylclops and Cabel. Jubilee and Roberto ran and got cornered in the alley way. That leaves Beast, Rogue and Morph unaccounted (assuming Morph didn't take the form of another Xmen in the trailer). The conversation with Storm seems after the fact and new (she is in her new outfit). The opening monolog sounds like Charles apologizing to the X-men.
Dude! When Storm is speaking to the team---Is that Sunspot in his old school New Mutants costume standing next to Jubilee!? AND we see Forge in his X-Men costume I think behind Storm.
Predictions: Gambit will not return this season given it's pacing and direction. I think it more likely his return is teased for the Season 2 finale. Charles sacrifices himself to defeat Bastion and Prime Sentinel Magneto. Onslaught might come out of that. Maybe they tease that for Season 2 in the finale, or they leave it up in the air. Jean and Scott break up, but I don't think that means Logan gets together with Jean. Professor X doesn't actually come back this week, but Storm does. The team starts to fracture internally over methods, with a Cyclops camp and a Storm camp. Jean and Scott go into the different "teams". Maybe they call them XMen Blue and XMen Red in Season 2. Cyclops moves further along the "Magneto was right" train.
