Hi, Seaworthiness refers to the fitness of the hull and machinery to complete a voyage safely and soundly, and undergo perils. Even it's a bulk ship and under a charter party, same concept is applied. The vessel should be fit to complete a voyage and should be able to carry cargo as well.

Hrllo sir. Does dispatch and demurrage applicable only to voyage charter party only?

Hi Pollux, yes the dispatch and demurrage are only applicable in voyage charter party. Reason is the vessel is chartered for a specific voyage and for an agreed lay time. If the agreed lay time is exceeded, shipowner is at loss in chartering the vessel again.
