The one thing I would say about boiling blood is that I don’t think it’s intended to fully offset the life drain mechanic, just to make it a bit less punishing and give you a way to rely a little less on the special
Perhaps... I don't feel like it would be broken if it did offset the life drain, though maybe it would be, would have to play with it more to decide. The thing is, holding the power has other disadvantages (mainly holding still), so if it doesn't offset the life drain, I'm a little skeptical of the value of boiling blood stacked against others in her talent pool

Legendary Boiling Blood + like 2 Mermaid tears is enough to cover the 1s health loss. HOWEVER, it is currently bugged, there are times that Boiling Blood not working after a while, unknown what is triggering that. I have reported the bug on discord with a video proof, so they are aware of the bug. It was there since 1.0.0.3 but it is still not fixed yet.
Good to know! Nice to see Ace's instincts around that talent are as sharp as we've come to expect. Also, thanks for putting in the report! I have a tendency to just show bugs in my videos rather than lodging a formal ticket 👀
Glad you enjoyed it! If you're looking for ideas on playstyle, I'd highly recommend Ace's gameplay videos, he's really good with her. For Carmilla, the last attack in her combo gives 8 blood, and a bite from the special gives 30. Inflicting bleed doesn't actually generate any blood, as unintuitive as that is lol

I personally wear a paper bag over my head when reviewing my videos to avoid that discomfort. Also doubles as a technique to reduce hyperventilation, which may not be as helpful to you, but fits my needs like a glove
