Thirteen was fighting this battle, but little did anyone know Kutner was fighting a losing battle, completely in the dark.
His actor was fighting a wage battle
Thirteen suspected she might have Huntington's, yet she aimed to live life to the fullest. Kurtner, in contrast, was physically healthy and had the potential to be an excellent doctor, but he chose to give up on life. Ironic, isn't it?
physically not mentally.@@SaptaTechEnthusiast
@@FaceFish9 Yes. It is terrifying how dire the consequences of neglecting mental health can be. We promote healthy eating, exercising, etc., for our physical health. But when it comes to mental health, I feel like we are a bit neglectful. It is sad that many overlook it or do not speak about it to others.
@@FaceFish9 no. he was fine. Anything past season 4 is slop and even into the late stages of season 5 he wasn't suicidial or even depressive.
Actor left the show for a place in the whitehouse when obama got installed, they flipped the character on a dime, don't even try to pretend it was planned or good it wasn't. It was dropped out of nowhere because they couldn't be fucked to write a fitting exit - even Masters got a better exit.
"Almost dying changes nothing. Dying changes everything."
-House.
God loves u all
The ending to this episode broke me, poor poor wilson, he cant be happy for long. And he dies of cancer
lol
Bro
Actually his cancer has a nearly 100% successful treatment rate, he wouldn't have died.
Thirteen would be the only dead one.
THANK YOU FOR SPOILING THE VIDEO WITH THIS BEING THE TOP COMMENT

4:32 Kutner's death reference on the wall there
God loves u all
The absolute mental toll and stress these people undergo is immense. No wonder many block it out and become emotionless husks.

@3:10 right as Kutner finishes saying "...not" there's what looks like an electrical spark by her left calf.
God loves u all
its static, it can make arcs, you just dont often see it.
Passing Afternoon is such a nice song. There’s a lot of songs from this show that are melancholic in nature. Which I absolutely love
God loves u all
I wonder if Cutner was so adamant about being respectful towards her because he wanted them to show him the same respect when he….

No they killed kutner because of the actor. It definitely wasn't planned because his death made no sense
@@JohnSmith-ie9qo he did it to support Obama saying campaign. This is why I stay out of politics.
@@JozeThePenguin-wq6riit was also a much better paying job with political connections. You think anybody goes into politics because of ideology??
One of best and most emotional episodes of House
God loves u all
Amber dies. Kutner dies. Wilson *will* die of cancer. So will 13.
*Everybody lies . . . And everybody dies.*
At least Wilson would see Amber again - in the afterlife.
God loves u all
Why did they have to kill off Amber? She's such a good character. And they cut out House OD'ing on Dementia meds to recover suppressed memories
Her character had basically run its course. The storyline was very powerful and emotional.
Best show ever.
@@sharpsvilleBill yes it was very emotional and a strong finish indeed
'cut out' clearly you havent been around very long
They'll release another clip showing the segment eventually but they keep it short and excluding key details to make you go watch the show, only way they've been allowed to continue posting for so long when all viewing are behind a paywall - can't be giving the show away for free
She is a good character, they wanted to give house trauma, it was fairly poorly written, Wilson deserved better - Actress clearly didnt even want an exit as she was still around, just couldn't have anyone be happy, Not Wilson and Amber, not House and Cuddy
Past season 4, good things werent allowed to happen
@@PJOZeus I've watched the whole show btw, all 8 seasons
Honestly, it gave the show a whole lot of heart. Yeah, it was sad, but from a narrative perspective, it was emotionally powerful.
"I'm an Indian guy named Kutner"
I just assumed he changed it so people could pronounce it.
i didn't realize kutner wasn't an indian name... it's not like his name was ramachandra smith...
He was adopted.

She only did one test for huntingtons not 13
13 is her name
@@purepack i assume that was the joke unless you are also joking then egg on my face
They shortened the episode for RUclips. When this aired for the first time you saw her do all 13 tests consecutively. 12 were positive for Huntington's.
@@FunBox. thanks ! I only know the genetic test for huntingtons, ill watch the episode to learn what the others are
To be fair, her dead brother and mother had Huntingtons so I think even without tests she deep down knew she had it. That's why she refused to open test episodes earlier.
Pretty misleading video title, I only saw one test for huntington's disease, not sure where the other twelve are.
Thirteen is her nickname...
@@MephistoBlack01the joke deadass flew over your head

He's done it before. First time, it was almost poetic.
This is a guy with no filters and no frontiers. His entire team breaks into patients' homes on the regular.
And you think a sign on a door is going to deter him?

And Kutner was alone…
This episode had one of the saddest endings. Wilson lost Amber who he really loved, Thirteen knew she was gonna die soon, and Kutner was heading down a detour.

@@dizo-jp2td God loves everyone. The bigger the sinner, the warmer the welcome in his house.
Everytime he calls her Thirteen, i expect the late Ray Stevenson to walk in, gladius in hand.
God loves u all
I honestly believed Wilson would have hated house forever, knowing Amber's death was his fault.
Just watched the episode!
God loves u all
Thirteen had one of the better character arcs in the series ❤
I don't understand kutner.not only was he a doctor,he was on houses' team.of he had a problem bad enough to need help,he should have asked for help.people there cared about him, they would have helped him.he didn't need to die.
Well, the actor forced his way out to go work for Obama, nothing the writers could do...
1, actor's choice
2, should have and could have are two very different things when u start to feel like that
It happens all the time, every day. People don't know how to ask for help, or they simply won't.

First sign of depression is hiding the truth
I never really followed this series in its prime, but was there ever an episode about how rich the patients are, or how crazy their medical benefits are? I mean, they’re in private rooms with the most modern equipment, separated with tempered glass doors, they’re being attended to by multiple on call doctors, including a floating Diagnostician, tons of nurses, the hospital is full of gorgeous waiting rooms with modern furniture in every single wing, and the attached clinic is ultra clean with full access to the hospital’s resources. I mean, insurance companies are probably bribing ambulances to avoid this hospital, right?
The show gets around this by saying the hospital is a teaching clinic and research center part of the university. It is free for patients, paid for by the university/research grants/donations
Thirteen is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.
God loves u all
Kutner becoming Kumar in this episode 😂😂😂.
Crazy how beautiful she was

Oh please for God's sake get over it thirteen 🙄🙄🙄
Not everything is about you,,,,
bro did NOT understand the show
And are you so desperate for attention you’d try to disparage someone for being terrified of being diagnosed with one of the worst genetic diseases imaginable?
You're privileged not to be born with an expiration date. Pretty hard to deal with, imo.
Thirteen is pathetic
bro what?
No she isn’t, she’s a brilliant doctor. Her character is better than Cameron and the last female doctor (not Park she was funny as hell).
I wouldn't call her pathetic. More like tragic.
