Hey guys!! I have moved to Tennessee where I will be trying to visit places like this out here. See my other channel "We In Tennessee" here. ruclips.net/channel/UCZTUIXtF_ktzn5Gg1F0h7QQ
Totally awesome. That movie, along with Star Wars and Raiders, defined my 80s childhood. Thanks so much for posting I wish I could see it in person! So cool!!
Jim, I lived on Day St between Haines Canyon and Gish. Grampa lived on Mountair down from the Catholic Church on Apperson and Gramma had a 6 plex on Hillhaven. There's an air raid siren by Beckett north of Valmont next to Pinewood School. I was leaning against the pole sitting on my bike when the siren went off. It scared the hell out of me. Must have been about 1962. I'm 400 miles North and only go down to eat Tommy's chili burgers on Foothill. My brother found ET's house just by looking at scenes in the movie and driving around to 7 Hills. E.T. was my son's favorite movie so I took a picture of him when he was 6, standing in the driveway. That was 25 years ago. Wow, time flies. The mountain behind the house was known as Camel's Back. As kids, we hiked up there a lot. I had lots of memories in Tujunga!
I saw this house a few weeks after you did! We were married on Nov 26 2011 and went to LA for our honeymoon. Saw the house on Nov 29th! Loved this movie as a kid.
Is this an alternate version to the ET score? I don't remember it sounding exactly like this on my soundtrack. Btw, I will be visiting the ET house in about a month. First time ever. So excited!

That's the official ET Theme by John Williams. Like with any classic music, it gets recorded by different orchestras over time.
