When it comes to depression, the first age bracket we think about is teenagers. I am not saying that is a bad thing, however we need to understand that it is not just teenagers, but also adults. We need to remember that depression isn't something we just grow out of over time, it's a mental illness. Anyone can be going through depression at any time of their life, at any age. And if you run from it, you'll be running your whole life. That is why I wrote this song.
