I love how Damsel just has a pair of sneakers under her dress. Like everything else about her looks very stereotypically princessy (which I know is the point) and then she just hangs out with Lucas and is like "Yo wanna see my sick-ass J’s?"
Like the idea of a hero type, Like a big bully comes along a hole lot worse than he was, But since it doe go with more the game is manipulated by an entity idea, he would be a victim like the Father of Lucas. Though roughly working to use his more monsterus form to challenge MX in a way, which was part of the intention, It's more entertaining adding an extra challenge to overcome than just stepping over everything. The additional stake of a Parental Love is addition. I'd say it technically would be both, He's puppet in the sense he's manipulated by MX to bring about the greatest Competition he's experince, but also hero Because you don't-a-Fuck with family.
Genuinely one of the coolest Horrorbrews I've seen in a while, I could totally see Damsels story being a sort of "official" alternate universe of Mario 85's story. Like, just one of many things that COULD happen in the story. Kinda like Bandado but for MX I suppose.

Lucas: An innocent child with fear from Mx. Damsel: Trying to help you get out the game by pointing left, but only a fool would not heed her words. Toad: Corpse, just dead bodies, but in some point, they will rise into a walking corspe or zombie like creature. But the difference is if they got killed by MX, then they can be turned or formed into a zombie hunting or stopping Lucas from getting out of the game. Rather the appearence is kinda, disturbed, eyes coming out of the skull, jaw broken, broken or lost their arms, and raspy voices say, "Run", "He is coming", "Don't leave me", "Too late", and "I want to live". But, if Lucas get caught from them, they will make him just like them.....broken, and faceless. Boswer: The big man turned into the slave and only listens to MX. Boswer, he not only control his mind, but his mental state is corrupted and ruined. Like a rapid or a crazy dog, he hunts, fights, runs, and even eats his victims. But the main thing about boswer is that he has no longer functional eyes, broken skull, and huge disform teeth, scars all over his body, and his hair is falling out. But there is a weakness to this rampaging beast, his chest....... Right before Boswer turned into MX's Slave, MX hold boswer in the air, and stabs him with his hand to his heart and rips it out, while it still beats, and manages to rip and destroy his skull in the process, showing, no mercy. If anything, stay still and no sounds or movement when he is around, or he founds his new food to eat. Luigi: Poor Luigi, just nothing but a corspe in MX's throne, rather, MX's greatest prize..... I would not like to be where is right now....... Wario: Its a sign, a warning from MX if you found Wario's corpse in the underground...... His arms, legs, neck, and even every bits of his bodies was stretched too much, even the bones are showing, not to mention the ripped off head. He should have run while he had the chance, but over-confidence got the best of him. Peach and Daisy: Ghosts flying with fear, they will help you, but MX can see them, and can even tortue them in many ways, but even so, those two did end up worse then the others..... dunno how they died, but seeing there are no ghost from the others, they are alive, yet corrupted.
i feel like after a while when a victim shuts off the mental switch MX would probably be terrified because they wasn't afraid of murder mario on steroids

The few that are genuinely interesting are NEEDLEM0USE (I believe a spirit inhabiting a sonic cartridge and sucking her friends in who also were the ones who killed her), Fatal Error (a rouge computer software thing that wants total world domination by stealing code from other places, effectively making it not just bound to sonic like the rest), Curse (literally a femboyish sonic that has gone through some shit and still wears a smile), and rewrite (idk much about them but their design and appearance in Sonic Villians as well as fan media that springless enjoys gives off very uncanny vibes that are just so cool) Mario creepypastas feel like they arent intemidations, but rather their own thing that look like Mario. TLDR Sonic.exes are just copy paste of the og most of the time while Mario creepypastas are their own thing.
I agree, but, we gotta remember that the original Mario.EXES (not the creepy pastas, the genuine EXES.) are based on Sonic versions. Such as Lord X and MX. 2011 X and Lord X respectively are the only unique takes on the base EXE, really. And I think 2011 X is the canon original Sonic.EXE now.

Ain't no way people find curse an interesting character. His story is poorly written, I would say it feels like a cringe fanfic made by an edgy sonic fan. And his design? I actually had a similar concept, it doesn’t involve abuse, but it involves someone trying to save the protagonist from the au’s antagonist. The character’s name is Dr. Periwinkle, he was assigned with investigating the disappearance of Becky. His clues lead to a Sega Genesis bootleg called “Gertrude’s plumbing service”. Gertrude is my au’s MX, except she’s actually a friend of Becky who was murdered and now haunts the Sega Genesis. To Gertrude, Dr. Periwinkle is a nuisance
This character is such a phenomenal display of Horrorbrew Creativity, and I love the ways you portray a “What if an adult became a victim of Mx?” This is a fantastic character, and I can’t wait to learn more about her! I have my own fan-made character Lucas's Uncle after feeling so guilty about what happened you know oops himself and possesses Bowser and I can see to be like a climax to the story where he actually almost kills a mixed and gets at least damsel and Lucas out they get trapped again Mario 64 for example is actually like her whole bodies change to be actually see her somehow evolved

Wow this amazing and if I become MX's new plaything I can see my soul getting put into Bowser's sprite when he kills me. I can see him being the person who's willing to risk his life to protect the player as he fight MX seeing that he has the power to at least hold back MX while the player runs and this show that Bowser denies his role of the bad guy. I would give him 3 forms too: His 1st from I'll name King with him keeping the original appearance of the King Koopa and has a tired expression on his face due the him being just tired of him and Lucas getting killed over and over again by MX. So due to this causes him to lose of of his personalty traits for example his ability to see the best in things and his joking/ playful attitude and he luckily he lost his explosive temper and he's shorter then MX but kinda close to MX's height and his voice is completely the same voice of The Koopa King's from the Super Mario movie . Bowser gains his 2nd form after MX tears the flesh from the right side his face including his right eye and his chest as punishment for getting in MX's way and as MX leaves him for dead when MX continues chasing Lucas Bowser's determination and stubbornness didn't let him die causing him to get up with a dark flame appearing in his eye socket acting as a new eye and smoke coming out of his rib cage almost giving him the appearance of dry Bowser, The 2nd form's name is Shell riser because of the rage he buried down deep inside him in full force but due to rage Bowser almost acts like a wild animal with him walking/running on all fours but he has some control of his actions in this 2nd form and only attacks MX as he acts like a Guard dog to Lucas and The Toads. In this form when Bowser speaks his voice is a little deeper but his original voice can faintly be heard. For his 3rd form the form's name will be Bowser/ Castle Clasher and in this form his real name is reviled but also uses the Castle Clasher nickname. In this form Bowser has complete control of his body again due to his rage causing his flames to grow in power the rest of his skin to melt away into a odd dark blue goo showing his red bones giving him the full appearance of Dry Bowser with enlarged Spikes and horns. The goo allows him to spawn items like power ups or weapons like an Axe or Hammer but making power ups like the Fire flower or Super star is harder for him to make. The goo also let's him heal himself and others, He's around the same height of MX now, His voice glitches between his game voice and real voice when he speaks mainly when he's extremely angry, and when he's knocked out Bowser can still move around because his spirit can almost be seen controlling his body like a puppet. Huh I wonder what will his interactions with Damsel/ Duffy would be like.
Oh yea if people would like to know his abilities besides being have to breathe fire/ able to shot out fire balls, can use/spawn small hammers that he can toss because in the original game the King Koopa can toss a infinite amount of hammers, and he's strong but in his 1st form/ King he's only strong enough to hold MX back, but in his 2nd form Shell Riser his strength increases enough that he's able to hold his own against MX why longer and the color of his flames changes to dark blue, in this form he's able to do more with his body for example he's able to go into his Shell for protection or ramming into MX but he doesn't have complete control of his Shell because just like Koopa Troopas in the main Mario games he can't move around in his shell on his own, For his 3rd form I already told 2 of his abilities but he can makes larger hammers/ sledgehammers and can copy other moves from the Mario RPGs for example he can use the Drill Claw attack and use a chain chop and just like in the games if he mentally pressed the attack button at the right time he does more damage, He can also use the moveset the Koopa King uses in the 3rd Mario and Luigi game.
For the longest time, my favorite Horrorbrew was Victim #1, generally because I grew up with the MARIO ARG/creepypasta and I always loved the image. But now, I think I found it. The one Horrorbrew that took the top spot was Damsel. Thank you so much for creating this character and I hope to see more of her in the future
Have you thought about a bowser-like character? I could imagine that in the context of Mario 85, it would just be completely mentally gone. Like most of what is says is complete gibberish. I think it would be an interesting idea to explore considering MX is the only real threat. Maybe he could also use that axe thing that’s always used to kill bowser in the original game

A SCROOGE” **Damsel reels back in shock, nearly meeting the same fate as Lucas whom she had accidentally pushed into a Bottomless Pit.** That’s a sort of scene I envision if she did accidentally kill. That confrontation between the Scrooge Puppet being jokingly controlled by the King from Polar Express.
My take was a beta tester named king who unlucky tested the game that Mx was in king takes the form of Koopa (bowser) he is able to do just as Koopa can do jump,breathe fire,and throw hammers. Though since king is a beta tester he is able to use the debug menu to summon items such as the bullet cannon and platforms even springs. But power ups are unaccessable now for the dynamic king gets on mx's nerves so king doesn't act like prey king is friendly but Lucas rarely meets king because he tries to use his item summoning without distractions and he has no other forms as he sees it unnecessary also here is a conversation between king and mx King: you may think just because you have us all stuck here that I am supposed to be scared or acting like prey but no I ain't gonna play your game and no matter with what happens your actions have consequences and when karma catches up I am going to be there there and watch.
I really love this concept, and I do hope that this gets more development eventually into a full story, like I can see Duffy eventually warming up to lucas and becoming a big sister to him and becoming protective towards him, (kinda of like a twist on the whole how the Mario dynamic usually is) both filling the hole that MX has made in their lives in a ironic twist.
You know Duffy this video actually gave me an idea of like a rival for Mx and the definition of stress for damsel I think it’s an ACTUAL version of whatever the hell bowser is in Mario 85’ and not just Mx but bowser It takes place almost a month and a half after duffy’s death Called “beast” or “koopa” Brian (the edgy kid that i play the character of…just don’t watch my videos please there the definition of cringe) is the third victim that Mx personally went after because of his ego of “I am the GREATEST that stupid ass Mario rip off!” And after being insulted over and over again he gave Brian a fitting death by setting the house he lives in on fire by sabotaging all of the wires in his computer at once making it explode and setting the wooden desk Brian plays games on After the fire and when Brian was nothing but a charred corpse, Mx took his soul and put it in the body of bowser so he could torment and torture him along with Lucas Over the multiple times Mx has dunked “that scary looking beast” as Lucas puts it koopa has…gotten used to pain of being dropped into lava over and over again and just fakes the painful, agonizing screams each time he gets dunked However there is one thing that keeps him going after Mx brings him back to relive the pain again and again…pure spite and hope that one day he will be able beat Mx and show him what it feels like to be tortured over and over again His hope may be hallow seeing how Mx is a beast himself but he takes pride whenever he manages to steal the kill from Mx when he’s chasing Lucas because little does Mx know he uses bowsers powers to kill Lucas before him Brian hates Mx just as much as Mx hates him and they almost always come to blows over who gets to kill Lucas, him or koopa Koopa is the first form Brian rarely uses and looks almost identical to bowser (like how bowser is a bit bigger than Mario in the first game) Maniac is the the second form Brian is most commonly in and is like 2-3 feet taller than his first form that has the spikes on his shell and head become longer and more jagged and turns a darker shade of bowsers usual colors (about half the size of normal bowsers…giant? Big? Power up form and my autistic brain struggled here) and Brian uses his maniac form when he’s competing with Mx to see who can kill Lucas first Beast is the third form Brian uses when it comes to full on brawls with Mx as he gets more bulky to actually match Mx’s strength because I honestly think Mx would clap bowser’s shit with little to no effort, Brian’s beast for is even bigger than his maniac form (because of course it is) and in this form some of the spikes would be broken and he would have some bruises and scars from the fights that he had with Mx with his eyes being extremely dilated pupils to the point of them looking like voids and the tips of his fingers turning into claws Brian or koopa as he is known now acts as a more direct distraction for Mx and he has left notes for both damsel and Lucas telling them that the doesn’t really mean any harm to them and he’s doing it because 1. Mx took his ability to talk away and 2. He’s diverting Mx’s attention away so that they can figure out how to actually escape I hope you see this as it would make my day better and that I spent a good couple of hours typing all this out and I used all 3 of my brain cells to make make this

I actually had a similar concept, it doesn’t involve abuse, but it involves someone trying to save the protagonist from the au’s antagonist.
The character’s name is Dr. Periwinkle, he was assigned with investigating the disappearance of Becky. His clues lead to a Sega Genesis bootleg called “Gertrude’s plumbing service”. Gertrude is my au’s MX, except she’s actually a friend of Becky who was murdered and now haunts the Sega Genesis. To Gertrude, Dr. Periwinkle is a nuisance
This character is such a phenomenal display of Horrorbrew Creativity, and I love the ways you portray a “What if an adult became a victim of Mx?” This is a fantastic character, and I can’t wait to learn more about her!

The formatting of this particular video and the explanations you gave are all fantastic, and you were also really enternaining in the mario85 gameplay video. I have my own fan-made character Lucas's Uncle after feeling so guilty about what happened you know oops himself and possesses Bowser and I can see to be like a climax to the story where he actually almost kills a mixed and gets at least damsel and Lucas out they get trapped again Mario 64 for example is actually like her whole bodies change to be actually see her somehow evolved

Damsel is prob one of my favorite if not my ABSOLUTE favorite EXE/Horrorbrew not made by a friend of mine. She has a lot of concepts I really like. She has a great design, and she's overall just...SO cool. I'm so glad she's beginning to grow a large following. Hopefully one day I gather the motivation to draw her...
Wow this amazing and if I become MX's new plaything I can see my soul getting put into Bowser's sprite when he kills me. I can see him being the person who's willing to risk his life to protect the player as he fight MX seeing that he has the power to at least hold back MX while the player runs and this show that Bowser denies his role of the bad guy. I would give him 3 forms too: His 1st from I'll name King with him keeping the original appearance of the King Koopa and has a tired expression on his face due the him being just tired of him and Lucas getting killed over and over again by MX. So due to this causes him to lose of of his personalty traits for example his ability to see the best in things and his joking/ playful attitude and he luckily he lost his explosive temper and he's shorter then MX but kinda close to MX's height and his voice is completely the same voice of The Koopa King's from the Super Mario movie . Bowser gains his 2nd form after MX tears the flesh from the right side his face including his right eye and his chest as punishment for getting in MX's way and as MX leaves him for dead when MX continues chasing Lucas Bowser's determination and stubbornness didn't let him die causing him to get up with a dark flame appearing in his eye socket acting as a new eye and smoke coming out of his rib cage almost giving him the appearance of dry Bowser, The 2nd form's name is Shell riser because of the rage he buried down deep inside him in full force but due to rage Bowser almost acts like a wild animal with him walking/running on all fours but he has some control of his actions in this 2nd form and only attacks MX as he acts like a Guard dog to Lucas and The Toads. In this form when Bowser speaks his voice is a little deeper but his original voice can faintly be heard. For his 3rd form the form's name will be Bowser/ Castle Clasher and in this form his real name is reviled but also uses the Castle Clasher nickname. In this form Bowser has complete control of his body again due to his rage causing his flames to grow in power the rest of his skin to melt away into a odd dark blue goo showing his red bones giving him the full appearance of Dry Bowser with enlarged Spikes and horns. The goo allows him to spawn items like power ups or weapons like an Axe or Hammer but making power ups like the Fire flower or Super star is harder for him to make. The goo also let's him heal himself and others, He's around the same height of MX now, His voice glitches between his game voice and real voice when he speaks mainly when he's extremely angry, and when he's knocked out Bowser can still move around because his spirit can almost be seen controlling his body like a puppet. Huh I wonder what will his interactions with Damsel/ Duffy would be like.
Funnily enough, I was thinking about what would happen if there was a third victim who’s soul was within the body of Bowser
Oh yea if people would like to know his abilities besides being have to breathe fire/ able to shot out fire balls, can use/spawn small hammers that he can toss because in the original game the King Koopa can toss a infinite amount of hammers, and he's strong but in his 1st form/ King he's only strong enough to hold MX back, but in his 2nd form Shell Riser his strength increases enough that he's able to hold his own against MX why longer and the color of his flames changes to dark blue, in this form he's able to do more with his body for example he's able to go into his Shell for protection or ramming into MX but he doesn't have complete control of his Shell because just like Koopa Troopas in the main Mario games he can't move around in his shell on his own, For his 3rd form I already told 2 of his abilities but he can makes larger hammers/ sledgehammers and can copy other moves from the Mario RPGs for example he can use the Drill Claw attack and use a chain chop and just like in the games if he mentally pressed the attack button at the right time he does more damage, He can also use the moveset the Koopa King uses in the 3rd Mario and Luigi game.

For the longest time, my favorite Horrorbrew was Victim #1, generally because I grew up with the MARIO ARG/creepypasta and I always loved the image. But now, I think I found it. The one Horrorbrew that took the top spot was Damsel. Thank you so much for creating this character and I hope to see more of her in the future

Have you thought about a bowser-like character? I could imagine that in the context of Mario 85, it would just be completely mentally gone. Like most of what is says is complete gibberish. I think it would be an interesting idea to explore considering MX is the only real threat. Maybe he could also use that axe thing that’s always used to kill bowser in the original game

My take was a beta tester named king who unlucky tested the game that Mx was in king takes the form of Koopa (bowser) he is able to do just as Koopa can do jump,breathe fire,and throw hammers. Though since king is a beta tester he is able to use the debug menu to summon items such as the bullet cannon and platforms even springs. But power ups are unaccessable now for the dynamic king gets on mx's nerves so king doesn't act like prey king is friendly but Lucas rarely meets king because he tries to use his item summoning without distractions and he has no other forms as he sees it unnecessary also here is a conversation between king and mx
King: you may think just because you have us all stuck here that I am supposed to be scared or acting like prey but no I ain't gonna play your game and no matter with what happens your actions have consequences and when karma catches up I am going to be there there and watch.
I really love this concept, and I do hope that this gets more development eventually into a full story, like I can see Duffy eventually warming up to lucas and becoming a big sister to him and becoming protective towards him, (kinda of like a twist on the whole how the Mario dynamic usually is) both filling the hole that MX has made in their lives in a ironic twist.
I see her being a helper by giving power-ups if you die too much

You know Duffy this video actually gave me an idea of like a rival for Mx and the definition of stress for damsel
I think it’s an ACTUAL version of whatever the hell bowser is in Mario 85’ and not just Mx but bowser
It takes place almost a month and a half after duffy’s death
Called “beast” or “koopa” Brian (the edgy kid that i play the character of…just don’t watch my videos please there the definition of cringe) is the third victim that Mx personally went after because of his ego of “I am the GREATEST that stupid ass Mario rip off!” And after being insulted over and over again he gave Brian a fitting death by setting the house he lives in on fire by sabotaging all of the wires in his computer at once making it explode and setting the wooden desk Brian plays games on
After the fire and when Brian was nothing but a charred corpse, Mx took his soul and put it in the body of bowser so he could torment and torture him along with Lucas
Over the multiple times Mx has dunked “that scary looking beast” as Lucas puts it koopa has…gotten used to pain of being dropped into lava over and over again and just fakes the painful, agonizing screams each time he gets dunked
However there is one thing that keeps him going after Mx brings him back to relive the pain again and again…pure spite and hope that one day he will be able beat Mx and show him what it feels like to be tortured over and over again
His hope may be hallow seeing how Mx is a beast himself but he takes pride whenever he manages to steal the kill from Mx when he’s chasing Lucas because little does Mx know he uses bowsers powers to kill Lucas before him
Brian hates Mx just as much as Mx hates him and they almost always come to blows over who gets to kill Lucas, him or koopa
Koopa is the first form Brian rarely uses and looks almost identical to bowser (like how bowser is a bit bigger than Mario in the first game)
Maniac is the the second form Brian is most commonly in and is like 2-3 feet taller than his first form that has the spikes on his shell and head become longer and more jagged and turns a darker shade of bowsers usual colors (about half the size of normal bowsers…giant? Big? Power up form and my autistic brain struggled here) and Brian uses his maniac form when he’s competing with Mx to see who can kill Lucas first
Beast is the third form Brian uses when it comes to full on brawls with Mx as he gets more bulky to actually match Mx’s strength because I honestly think Mx would clap bowser’s shit with little to no effort, Brian’s beast for is even bigger than his maniac form (because of course it is) and in this form some of the spikes would be broken and he would have some bruises and scars from the fights that he had with Mx with his eyes being extremely dilated pupils to the point of them looking like voids and the tips of his fingers turning into claws
Brian or koopa as he is known now acts as a more direct distraction for Mx and he has left notes for both damsel and Lucas telling them that the doesn’t really mean any harm to them and he’s doing it because 1. Mx took his ability to talk away and 2. He’s diverting Mx’s attention away so that they can figure out how to actually escape
I hope you see this as it would make my day better and that I spent a good couple of hours typing all this out and I used all 3 of my brain cells to make make this
