It seemed to me like it was a parody of a parody. Unless it was just a strange coincidence that CB4 and Fear of a Black Hat were released the same exact year.
XiAmFAUSTX fear of a black hat came out first- they just both happen to parody nwa like crazy. I think fear of a black hat is better- when I was a kid, I thought they were both the same movie lol
Dalia Burgoin LOL so did I, but I seen CB4 first. I thought it was like how a major motion picture is being made and takes longer to come out, but there is like a low budget copy of it that ends up coming out to video first, even though the major motion picture is released after, the fact it was being made before is what I thought about CB4 vs Fear of a Black Hat.
XiAmFAUSTX I remember watching CB4 when I got a little older, and then feeling disappointed because I was waiting for the "peanuts" song the whole time. I was also waiting for the 'ice froggy frog' song lol. I got it all mixed up
I think because of the hype around CB4 at the same time. That film was nowhere near as good, but had more money thrown at it, and had like a thousand cameos.
They really didn’t have any big names attached. Some might be big now, but back then, not so much. Also the person that mentioned CB4 hit it right on the head. And I think there’s some kind of distribution issues as well, because I haven’t even seen it available on DVD or Blu-ray.
😂😂 its a universal thing we all flush it doooown, when you wipe do you look at the tissue? Most folks do it ain't even an issue 😂 this man is classic in the acting game hands down
"In further N.W.H. news, Tone-Def, former spiritual member of N.W.H, currently on his own with New Human Formantics, has run into some trouble in New York City. Some cabbies there aren't buying Tone's assertion that he's not black. First, he was turned down by a cabby on Broadway. Then when he attacked a car, screaming, "l am not black, I am only human", the cabby jumped out and with some nearby colleagues proceeded to beat T until police arrived. In New York City, apparently, being human isn't enough. I'm Kurt Loder, still white and reportedly human in New York City."
I watched this movie again last Sunday and I was laughing nonstop. Fear of a Black Hat absolutely kills me! I couldn’t for the life of me stop laughing. It captured the era of hip hop that it was trying to parody so perfectly. I watched CB4 which is also funny but in my opinion only in spurts Fear of a Black Hat just keeps the laughs coming and they’re so frequent. I’m a wreck during this scene especially. Because this song is hilarious and the face he makes after he takes a leak on the rocks has me on the floor. This movie is so funny and so underrated.
Sure it’s not the glassesLOL. Can’t find a digital copy anywhere. One of the best Parody movies I’ve seen. Hope someone will release this classic to stream or even purchase
If you have never seen the entire movie, I urge you to check it out if you can find it. Truly the funniest parody movie I've ever seen. They spoofed PM Dawn, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, N.W.A., C+C Music Factory, and Run-DMC. Hilarious movie!
David J lol yes thank you for the correction. Man, I was born in 82 but I am one of those people who are clueless in the media world. I didn't know the name of my favorite 80's songs until I was 25! LOL
XiAmFAUSTX Yeah this is a PM Dawn spoof. De La Soul actually dropped the DAISY shit in part because of groups like PM Dawn trying to jump on the bandwagon and create a gimmick out of it.
Everybody laugh, it's STILL hilarious. But High-key, in 2023...these are actually BARS!!! If you're reading this, I GENUINELY hope you have a peaceful day. And always, don't forget how to laugh.
I remember in the 90s when we used to record things on tape we somehow recorded the whole movie onto a tape and listen to it when we drive around. classic, hilarious.
This is just the classiest, mind altering, as in illuminating, production ever. Well, it is definitely amazing, and I have re seen this for many years, talked about it to anyone who I think might be ready for this level of message, including my kids and I just want to thank you for keeping this alive. This should be Way out there in mainstream. Are the original CD's still available?
Rock n Roll is a paradise!!! I'm an Artist!! In Florida... I transformed my condo into a ROCK and ROLL Paradise! Something out of a dream!! I would leave my door open and people would stroll In and just look around...once inside you experience, "Floor Clouds"created by a smoke machine, a Bar with cieling susspended TV, and The Country Club Towers were protected by armed Guards, and Camera's. Everyone had their own Parking Spaces! The BB'Q Areas were a BLAST On weekends! Fantasic, Careokke! Water Volleyball! Basket Ball etc. etc. It was the time of my life...And now it's all gone! Hurricane Andrew took care of that in 92. Not one picture or memorabilia of any kind left to show for It all! Paradise (2) is in the works as we speak...
This is a great movie. Some of the things they make fun of wouldn't relate to younger people because they don't know the bands and things they are making fun of. But a lot of the shit still applies today, like the ridiculous video Booty Juice.
"Are you sure it's not the glasses?" CLASSIC!!!
fear of a black hat is some of the most understated, brilliant comedy ever. Shit kills me
My favorite mockumentary

the people dancing around with the flowers gets me every time..
PHAEDRIDER he should've had little people dancing with flowers.
I know! Me too!
Funniest movie ever! How could this masterpiece be so obscure?
I think because of the hype around CB4 at the same time. That film was nowhere near as good, but had more money thrown at it, and had like a thousand cameos.

I'll bust a cap in anybody that says different!
@@Scribblerjohnny It ain't that kind of party!

R.I.P. P.M. Dawn guy
Really tho! 🤣🤣🤣
my life would have been 10x better if I'd found this movie as a kid in the 90s
The world needs this right now.
Fear of Black Hat - Greatest comedy of all time.
For real dawg… 😂
“When I doo doo is my shit not brown?” Lmaoooooo
😂😂 its a universal thing we all flush it doooown, when you wipe do you look at the tissue? Most folks do it ain't even an issue 😂 this man is classic in the acting game hands down
All these years later & it's still hilarious.
For some reason this song popped into my head just now after not hearing it for years🤣😂🤣😂
"In further N.W.H. news, Tone-Def, former spiritual member of N.W.H, currently on his own with New Human Formantics, has run into some trouble in New York City. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Damn, you remember that whole thing?
Til this day it's still hilarious.

Cos it got the PM dawn vibes
🙏🏾😌 (R.I.P) Prince Be.
This song should be nominated for the Nobel peace prize 🏆
I saw this on the big screen. Own the DVD and watch it every couple of months cuz that what early 90's hip hop was at that time.
Your so lucky to have a copy
You're so lucky to see it on the big screen. I heard it was banned in theaters!
Still hilarious, Lol and this movie was so underrated! 🤣🤣
I wish this song had more than one verse. Best part of the whole movie. This has me fucking rollin!!
Antonio Vega if you can find the soundtrack on CD it actually has 3 verses lol
Theres a soundtrack as ☝️ said. All the songs in the movie are on the soundtrack and the director/writer did them all.
Still one of the funniest movies I've ever seen! 🤣🤣🤣
Hilarious PM Dawn jab!
almost 30 years later, him taking a piss still gets me laughing
I remember seeing this in the mid-90s. The hip hop version of Spinal Tap. This was brilliant.
RIP Prince Be
I laughed so hard when I first saw this LOL!! Fear of A Black Hat!
I look at people and everyone seems to be the same shade. You sure it's not because of the glasses?
Man it's almost like the video said that.
😂😂😂
This song gives me a pm dawn -set adrift on memory bliss vibe 😂. I remember this movie from a kid 😂
That was the purpose of this scene
@@shawnstrickland7313 i know thats why it was so funny 😂
I forgot how funny this shit was.
This song is crazy and comical but does make a good point ironically we all are human and have good and bad things in common.
BAD IDEA 101: watch this movie with three bruised ribs.... i swear it is torture!
Love this film parody of PM dawn..
laura valentina I totally agree with you
I remember this guy also as that psych ward guard for Sarah Conner.
I watched this movie again last Sunday and I was laughing nonstop. Fear of a Black Hat absolutely kills me! I couldn’t for the life of me stop laughing. I love Kurt Loder in the Movie: "He was attacked in new York where apparently being human is not enough" LOl
Watching this for the first time. LMFAO
i keep singing this song in my head @ work....lol...it uplifts me lol!
its past time for a sequel for the movie, NOT A REMAKE, a sequel with same cast !!!
Even funnier than 'Granny said Kick your ass!!'
This really was hip hops version of spinal tap, I know I’m in the minority but I liked this so much better then CB4
I truly hope PM Dawn appreciated this!
Your not in the minority, it's just that a lot of people have never seen or heard of this movie. Once they do they recognize the superior.
you arent the only one. this is the first time I've seen this movie. and I'm angry bout it. this is better that cb4 lol
Saw this in the theater and I convulsed with laughter through this whole song.
You sure it's not the glasses 🤣 🤣 🤣 hilarious movie
Hearing pm dawn makes this so much funnier
Funniest song in the whole movie
lyrical masterpiece
Loved this movie! I laughed so hard , I could not laugh anymore without it hurting. Great classic!

I remember when I first seen this movie as a kid, I DIED at this scene. LOL Making fun of P.M. Dawn an shit.
PM Dawn homie...De La Soul would of ripped them apart.
David J lol yes thank you for the correction. Man, I was born in 82 but I am one of those people who are clueless in the media world. I didn't know the name of my favorite 80's songs until I was 25! LOL
Lol I hear ya. Respect!
XiAmFAUSTX Yeah this is a PM Dawn spoof. De La Soul actually dropped the DAISY shit in part because of groups like PM Dawn trying to jump on the bandwagon and create a gimmick out of it.
+Harden Thicke Definitely PM Dawn. That was some mackin' bedroom music back in the nineties.
This is the only part I remember from this movie and it's still HILARIOUS!!! I love this song!!!
Def the best hip-hop comedy ever, and one of the best music satires ever, period, just as good as Spinal Tap.
Everybody laugh, it's STILL hilarious. But High-key, in 2023...these are actually BARS!!!
If you're reading this, I GENUINELY hope you have a peaceful day. And always, don't forget how to laugh.
Big Mike!!! He is the assistant manager of the Buy More now
I remember in the 90s when we used to record things on tape we somehow recorded the whole movie onto a tape and listen to it when we drive around. classic, hilarious.
this movie and song was classic🤣🤣
First time I saw this I fell off the couch laughing.
This is just the classiest, mind altering, as in illuminating, production ever. But a lot of the shit still applies today, like the ridiculous video Booty Juice.
Classic!
One of the best movies of all time.... but it was contextual.. you had to be "there"... in the 80s and 90s.
Who even know PM Dawn now...????
CB4 stole this whole movie and it's funnier than CB4 to me.
CB4 was released before FEAR OF A BLACK HAT
Such a fucking great movie.
i remember that scene it was the cab drivers and at the hospital the group reunited
So....what do you do when come 2 a traffic light?????
LOL...memories
Sounds like Set Adrift on Memory Bliss
