I'm glad I was finally able to overlook the childish purple color. This is a serious machine with an elegant and sensible control interface. @@EchidnaClubI picked up some discounted fabric that is a perfect match for the purple. I decided to embrace the color and made a matching purple cover for my machine. The purple has really grown on me, I think perhaps partly because the machine is a joy to use.
