Yeah selling things is really overrated sometimes. Definitely the wrong trailer, it took over a hour to get it loaded, it would have taken 10 minutes with the right trailer. Thanks for watching 👍
I just found out about the manifold flame heaters that perkins uses. Just has a small heating coil and a valve that allows diesel to spill and flame up inside the manifold. Guys that have them say they work very well. I bought a couple on ebay to try out
Have you ever read the User Manual? The Backhoe Loader got an Colt-Start-Injektion by hold the starter switch in the first position for 20-30 seconds. In the manifold ist a injection plug. The Clutch Pedal must be completely turn down for easily engine rotation.
Yes I have read the manual but this old backhoe doesn't have that function working, besides I'm not a fan of starter fluid anyway and the clutch pedal was pressed in when starting. Normally it's not a worry because I don't start it when it is so ridiculously cold out.

That was more of a video on starter testing. LOL For that cold it started pretty good without a snort of ether. Whole dang country is nasty cold.
That new gear reduction starter held up great!
