  • In this video, I will show How to Make Best Silicone Molds from 3D Printing | Best 3D printing molds for silicone 2024. In this How-To, we will show you some of the best practices associated with creating silicone molds around 3D printed parts.
    Silicone molding is a powerful production method that, when combined with 3D printing, can allow you to make several copies of one product. You can also create a product in a material that is not supported by your 3D printer.

    Hello,
    7:21 Beeswax is excellent for filling the layer lines.
    Fill the 3D print with melted beeswax and immediately dump it out again.
    Allow to cool and repeat another time. This way, even 0.2mm layer lines disappear.
    After cooling, you can fill it with silicone. You don't need an extra spray anymore. Beeswax takes care of that for you.
    Besides, beeswax is non-toxic.
    Many greetings
    juck.

    I find the water based sealers take 30 plus days or longer to fully cure and will get a bluish haze where water sits.

    I enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing. I work with resin and would like to invest in a 3d printer to make molds as well as little trinkets. I’m still researching as I know there is a steep learning curve. I will have to check out your more recent videos and see what you have been up to.
    Not sure if I want a uv resin printer or filament

      @nicolebalian  5 дней назад +1

      @@ImTheDIYArchitect if you have access to a resin printer that will create a smooth finish. If you’re sticking with filament, try painting on epoxy resin, it smooths the layer lines for me
