Fun facts for my fellow JoJos: McCree has both Jotaro's English and Japanese voices, Reinhardt is Old Joseph, Winston is Stroheim, and Pharah is Koichi.

WOW you guys should see the Japanese dubbed of Dragons, the voice actor for Hanzo say Ryuu Ga Waga Teki Wo Kurau in a wierd way but the Voice Actor for Genji did a really good job, sounds like the English version one
It's identical to the ingame ult, as in it's the same sound, hence why it sounds out of place.
Maybe they couldn't get the Japanese Hanzo to record it again or something.

It was kind of charming to have characters speak in their native tongue, like Mercy having geman lines and Widowmaker having french ones. I am a bit disappointed, that they dropped it for the japanese voice-over.

Also, fun fact: the guy who does the Japanese voice for Jotaro in the 1993 JoJo OVA is the same guy who does McCree's Japanese voice.
The guy who plays Jotaro in the English dub of the 2014 JoJo anime also does the English voice for McCree.

I am excited hearing their JP voice, but I like the original voice over's interpretation better. Genji and Hanzo sounds like the reverse from the original voice overs--Genji sounds a more harsher and angrier while Hanzo sounds more calmer, which is actually the opposite of their character. Genji supposed to be the calmer one (he already achieved inner peace), while Hanzo should be the more angry one (he's still angsting for killing his brother).
I can't believe McCree's VA is the VA of Nobunaga Oda from Samurai Warriors, I'm almost squealing ;')
and Okawa Toru (S76's VA) is fairly popular too ahhhh

When the game was still new and only trailers and stuff where out, I thought Genji only spoke Japanese with no english lines, I always thought that would have been really cool, so it's nice to see what that would have been like here.

Tbh most of them feel like they don't capture the personalities of the characters well whatsoever expect for a very tiny handful
I thought he was the worst, while McCree's managed to be equally bad. However the japanese ones and widowmaker are pretty on point. SOldier76 sounds too young and not gravily enough but reaper's was pretty good.
The problem with most japanese voice actors is they're often not as diverse as american ones, plus their language is harder to portray accents in mannerisms that we would honestly understand.
tbh tsuda kenjirou would sound much better as soldier76 for a deeper, gravellier tone
still, okawa toru's done a damn good job, considering he's cast a lot as elegant, stately characters

And yet people will just continue to worship Japan no matter what they do because accoring to them, English voice actors are wothless pieces of crap while Japanese voice actors are basically God. They keep going "Everything is better in their original format" yet they keep praising Japanese voice actors in anything as if English voice acting shpuldn't even exist.

These are all amazing! I feel like Lucio's could've been a bit deeper, but everyone else is perfect. I especially love how the voice effects were kept, such as Roadhog's and Reapers sounding like they were covered by a mask, and the omnic reverb from Zenyatta. All in all, great voice actors!~

At 2:52 you can hear McCree saying "bla bla HERO bla"
At 5:04 Reaper says something related to the word Soul (Tamashi)
the same at 8:53 with Torbjorn
at 9:53 Widowmaker says Bravo
in 11:30 Zarya never says Bear (Kuma)
and in 12:21 Zenyatta don't use the word IRIS
Those are the ones i think arent well translated since i don't know japanese but i can understand some words

It isn't a translation issue, they want to localise things for Japan just because some lines make more sense that way. Let's take one of Junkrat's lines for example:
"Coming up explodey!"
turns into (roughly) "Anyway, just beat it up!"
If you were to translate "Coming up explodey!" it would be something like
"次は爆発だよ！" (tsugi wa bakuhatsu da yo!), or "Next is an explosion!" because 'explodey' isn't exactly a real word.
It's just kinda what happens. America does the same thing, too. It's easier this way.
If they directly translated the lines into Japanese, they wouldn't make sense

These are pretty good. Some are not as I imagined, but that's cool. Genji's is awesome -- he's also the VA for the English version, right?
But the English VO is super good. It almost feels weird to say this, but I think the English VOs win out imo, just by a bit. The Japanese VOs are good as well, but I feel that Blizzard really pulled out the stops with their efforts to find good VAs for the English VOs.
