Never Stop Chasing
Welcome to New Scotland Reed the people are kind here we appreciate you work and never stop chasing friend.
Is it called new Scotland because of the crappy weather? lol
The weather is actually pretty good. Temperate most of the year. Occasional hurricane during hurricane season though
Greetings beautiful Canada 🇨🇦!
Please be careful, the most recent NHC updates indicates you're just shy of a Category 1.
Keeping Canada in our thoughts here in Florida. ❤
I just realized Nova Scotia means new Scotland, haha.
The ocean looks absolutely incredibly gorgeous even as angry as it is. Wow be safe out there guys. Never stop chasing
Thank you for following Hurricane Lee into Atlantic Canada. Nova Scotia is had a hard year between “rain events” that took 4 lives and washed out bridges to wildfires. Most people in the US have not even heard of Nova Scotia. Thank you for bring them into the spotlight!
I live in South Africa and I've heard of Nova Scotia 👌
@@Peace-tk3gr you would not believe how many times I’ve had to explain to people where Nova Scotia is. I usually say “ go to Maine and hang a right…”
If I could live in Canada, I would live in Nova Scotia.
I spent my first years growing up next to Peggy's Cove and remember one hurricane in 1949 that sank a three-masted ship that was being towed. It took most of the afternoon but each of the the masts broke off and eventually the ship and masts disappeared into the angry waves. One Labour Day weekend we drove home through a storm surge across the then dirt "highway" and the road was totally under the surf. I wasn't old enough to speak but that fear comes back to me as I see the waves coming up and over the point near where you are standing. Please stay safe.
Lol? I've always known about Nova Scotia
Much respect to Mother Nature and to you Reed! Never Stop Chasing!
I was wondering what we call it when big brother and their program's (HARP/DARPA) whatever other one's we don't know about does there cloud seeding? 😊 Big Brother Seeding?!?
@brianellis7291 the Harp project was shut down over 16 years ago.
@@donaldduffy8947 lol no it's joined to DARPA Program!!
We're some 400km to the north of where this footage was taken. Lee's apparently no longer forecast to hit us but we're getting the edges of it now and there are some pretty strong gusts and strong rains even this far away. hope my trees and gardens survive. hurricanes are no joke.
WOW! That wind is crazy! Stay safe!
Safety is my middle name
@@ReedTimmerWx a lot of things are your middle name lol
Welcome to Nova Scotia Reed!! Thank you for coming to cover Lee!! Never stop chasing!! Love from Halifax ❤
Thank you for having us! What a beautiful place!
Wow! Thanks Reed for providing us with a thorough up-close account of hurricane Lee in the Maritimes! Between your channel & all the live reporters at Fox Weather live stream, your reporting by far surpasses whatever live reporting Weather Network is doing. Hats off to you!! 🙌🏻☺️
Believe you me not many places cover them Maritimes.
Poor Nova Scotia…State of Maine is rooting for you!! Stay strong!
Hope everyone is all right in Canada. 90 mph gusts on Mt Washington and 35-40 mph gusts in Boston
Cannot hear you from the wind, but the video footage is amazing 👍
What beautiful scenery!
That lobster is simply majestic too. 😂❤
Hope you have fun on your adventure, Dr. Timmer!
Your coverage is absolutely amazing. You are truly the best at what you do. Keep up the great work 😃
Never underestimate the power of a few inches of moving water 😊
dang, I never thought for a second you'd be in my province presenting the storm to us. All day I was wondering if I'd find a local storm chaser to keep up with, but the big boys that sit in front of tornadoes are here.
Oh dang just look around the world and all weather mother nature is taking what's hers back! Be safe put there man great coverage as always!
I have a friend who lives in Lubec, Maine. He says it’s windy with some strong gusts, but has a generator that will automatically start if the power goes out. Stay safe Reed!
Reed, it's a rare thing that we can barely hear you.😄 I hope you're wearing a good pair of boots today. Thanks for the awesome footage!
Stay safe out there! and all in NS and NB as well as PEI and Newfoundland, hope it don't get that far. (Fredericton, NB Here)
Keep enjoying what you do Reed!
A sister lives in Nova Scotia. Thank you for covering Hurricane Lee. So sorry that I missed the live. Be safe out there Dr. Reed. God's speed and safe travels.
Taking one for the team!!
Good footage and stay safe!
Also, welcome to Nova Scotia!
Something so beautiful about a stormy sea! Thanks Reed!
Oh my Reed! This is Some Amazing Footage!! Mother Natural Truly is the Boss!! Thank You So Much!! Always!
Please keep a safe distance. The sea is like a cruel mistress. You can love her, you can hate her, but you can never trust her.
Thank you father
LOVE the big wave action!!
The Great Whites moved off shore, but will return for dinner.
Save the seals❤❤❤
Thank you giving us this amazing footage!
So good to have u in NS
U can call storm correct
I’m a great fan

It’s such an unique thing for Maine and Nova Scotia to experience. (I think)
Nah
This Mainer is loving Reed's coverage!!! I love NS!
Thanks Reed for getting in there and showing us all what its like! Take care of yourself!
Imagine if it hit here as it's peak cat 5
(166 mph sustained and gusts of, idk, almost 200?)
Holy smokes that's some wind!! Stay safe out there Thanks for the update Reed!
Beautiful, 1991 the perfect storm I lived right on the seawall in Marshfield, Mass. waves stated coming over the seawall into the deck, forecasters didn't really know how bad it would get, I watched, memorized by beautiful dark green waves starting to crash on the house, my gf said we have to go, noway I'm missing this, now the waves are literally crashing on the house, green water running down the windows on every wave, then a wave brought a boulder and crashed the sliding glass doors, time to go, oh, oh, to late, in the car stranded on both sides, backed the car up as far as I could away from the house, the next 6 hours we watched the house get ripped out to sea, only the foundation was left. Waves crashing on telephone pole lines sparking blue up and down the lines, the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
Great footage Reed, stay safe out there
Thank you for your videos, Reed. Even when we can't hear what you are saying, the images tell us a lot. I know you know what you are doing, but be extra careful out there!
Reed you are the best! Always walk chest to chest with the storms!
What fun. It looks wild and very wet. Hope you enjoy yourself while you are there. Thanks for bringing us all the information about Lee.
Amazing footage
Never Stop Chasing. Big waves at Peggy's Cove. Cam is down. Lost Power. Tree down in Hacketts Cove. No traffic can get through. According to my Dad.
Oh dang I missed your live! I know it’s not as strong is they are in Florida 🙏 😂. But I hope you enjoyed your visit t9 Nova Scotia! I’m in Perth-Andover New Brunswick and we’ve had three bands of rain, but barely 25 ml of it, and barely 40km winds yet…. It’s a breeze. Where you’re at (6 driving hours away) much worse.
I’m in Moncton, we’ve had a few bands come thru. They’re not lasting very long but when they do they’re fierce.
Wow, great footage. Stay safe, Reed!
Loved my visit to Nova Scotia. Stay safe.
Great coverage Reed!!!
In Cape Breton we have sunny skies and a nice breeze and no mosquitoes! Very humid the past week or so.
Looks so pretty there, even in the mist of the storm.
👍👍👍
I am one Floridian who is happy to be sitting this one out...
Love hearing that wind and seeing give waves crash. Thanks Reed. ❤❤ NSC
In Central Maine, getting separation winds and rain. Best gust here was 53 mph so far
Love this!! Thanks Reed 💛✨
Watching this from a dry Portland, Maine. 20-30 mph breeze. Stay safe up there!
Definitely strong wind! Thanks for braving the storm.
Thank you Reed! Love your shows! ❤
I'm in Moncton, NB...windy and rainy but not like over there!
Wow what a wave!🌊
For those that have the urge to experience the surge!
Hi everybody I'm so excited for this stream! I've missed yall!
Holy hell reed been a fan of you since I was 3 years old. Nice to see you visit the place I grew up in, enjoy your stay legend
Bro, how big were those waves? They looked nasty! Looked very windy too. Never stop chasing, Reed!
The surge warning is saying 8-12 meters which is approx 26-40 ft
@@RavingKats Dang
This is without doubt the nicest hurricane in all of recorded history
If you listen real close to the wind it's saying "Sooorrrrryyyyy"
Awesome footage we need more...be safe out there 🌀🌩️⚡
Watching what Reed does best! There really is something about the power of weather. It's fascinating to see storms form with the clouds & wind.
Reed, Stay Safe and Sending Prayers for All of you along the coastal area!!❤️🙏❤️
Mother Nature can be brutal but gorgeous at the same time💙💙🙏🏻🙏🏻

Be safe everyone effected by hurricane Lee. Never stop chasing the Storm's Reed Timmer.
This has always been one of my favorite places to see a storm. Glad you got told about it.
Man I love weather so Much
It's probably not for everyone but rolling greens, big waves, rocky shoreline with strong wind and rain sounds like a vacation when you're from Florida
Gosh, I cannot imagine going all the way there, and getting stuck in the outhouse with a floating Lobster, careful Reed! We're pulling for You! Enjoy the Lobster! You earned it!
Haha lobster roll and donair coming right up. Feeling for those without power but at least the temperature is comfortable. Heading to Peggy’s Cove for wave action
Thanks Reed❤
Great coverage Reed. Thanks for showing us Nova Scotia.
Wow. Does the rocky coastline or a rock seawall elsewhere have any fight against wind and waves?
Incredible footage of the storm😮 thanks for risking your life to show the fans what's going on at ground zero!
The ships in the olden days!😮
👍Great view of what is happening now. Thank you for getting & posting👍.
Simplesmente fantástica mãe natureza

Crazy wind and water. Be safe and ❤ this beautiful Province Nova Scotia!
Sorry our neighbors to the north are dealing with this .. but as a gulf coast resident I’m so happy it didn’t go through the Caribbean and head into the gulf … it would of been a monster cat 4 or 5
WOW thanks for being here!
Stay safe Reed! ❤
Loved the lobster❤
So beautiful!!!!!
It’s beautiful there!!
The seas be angry! Beautiful though. Thanks for sharing Reed.
