If you guys are coming to the Netherlands i must strongly agree with what other people have said: please go beyond Amsterdam and visit cities like Delft, Leiden and Utrecht. Also eat lots of stroopwafels!

The Netherlands must also be on your destination list! You have to see how many bikes there are on the streets and especially in the bikesheds/bike parking area near a big train station. Delft and Utrecht are really nice and unique cities. (Amsterdam is fun too, but it's too crowded for my taste) If you happened to be in The Netherlands in the weekend of 9 Feb 2018, then there is this massive half-national party, ''carnaval'', going on in the southern part of the Netherlands where people dress up in costumes and silly looking outfits, walks in parades, and just party really hard. Have fun!

When you go to the UK, you could hop over to N. Ireland (still UK) and then can re-enter the EU by travelling down to Rep. Of Ireland. There's no border, you literally drive over or hop on a train. It's pretty unique part of the world/UK/Europe

Welcome to europe. You could take boat from sweden to finland or estonia. Malta or spain are nice places to visit.

That's so awesome you will be in Europe until May! I hope you get to see lots of places and do some meetups with the locals.
Try to not rely on air travel too much when you go from country to country. Europe has a good rail system and it's by far the best way to see the wonderfully diverse geography. Especially central Europe (South Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Northern Italy, etc.) is just stunningly beautiful to travel through. Don't just fly over it, you'd miss so much.
Ideally I agree, but we also don't want to use too many days of our visa allowance for transport alone. -E
haha, I'm watching from Ontario, Canada and it's -16C which is warmer than this morning's -21. It was -9 the other day and we joked that it was warm!! Stay warm,

Croatia in the Spring would be wonderful. Dubrovnik, Split, and Plitvice National Park with it's beautiful waterfalls would be Kyde and Eric adventure material.
Just know that all of those Cities get their prices jacket up tremendously to the point of being more expensive than Stockholm is so begining of Spring would be ideal, if you visit Split you can take a few hour ferry to the OLD Island City of Hvar and a beautiful beach on Brac called Zlatni RT, I think you would have a lot of fun going on a scooter ride in Croatia since you can be up in the hills in an hour and down at the coast in an hour with amazing curvy roads and beautiful views.
Basically Croatia is like California.
Also anything 50CC or below in Croatia requires a drivers licence only.
Croatia is such a winner. Take the bus from zagreb to plitvice. Gorgeous countryside. Also, if wanting to hit Vienna, stay in Bratislava. Save a zillion $$$.
Another hearty endorsement for Dubrovnik and Split. I was privileged to visit there when I was in the Marine Corps and I plan on taking my wife there in the future. Great country and people.

I live in a touristy seaside town called Blackpool in the UK... it gets a mixed rep, it's your traditional UK holiday for a lot of families. It's a decent visit for a day out and we have a well known theme park called the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower, a zoo, a famous old ballroom, the piers, the seafront etc... if you came here come in summer though for sure lol it's tacky but very British
I'd recommend the Lake district and that whole area in general as it's pretty stunning, it's also only an hourish from Blackpool lol

if you are planning to visit Greece you should definitely visit Thessaloniki it is the best place for foodies (and affordable prices) . If you can you should check out Kavala its my home town its a 2 hour bus trip from Thessaloniki and its a very graphic town, a combination of mountain and sea, with uphills and downhills and many old building and houses and a medieval castle too! A bit of a warning though there is not much to see in Greece when it comes to museums, the museum in Athens though is new and quite amazing. Then Vergina North west Greece is worth a visit if you want to visit the tombs of Alexander the Great family. There are actually so many hidden gems and good places to eat, the more people you ask the better! Hope this info helps :) Enjoy your trip in Europe I always enjoy your videos!

Perhaps you are interested in visiting the region of Stuttgart.
There are a bunch of things to discover.
Beside nice towns and food i would recommend to visit the "Venus vom Hohle Fels" - a womanfigure from Mammoth-ivory with an estimated age of up to 40,000 years (one of the oldest figures in the world). And perhaps the castle Schloss Hohentübingen with a exhibition of the Universität Tübingen (150 years of classical archeology).
"...looking for some budget..."Oh well no chance to see you here in Switzerland then XD got beautiful nature but it's extremely expensive haha but it's awesome to hear you will visit those beautiful countries. Sweden and Ireland (and Scotland and Norway) are my favourite Europe countries, looking forward to explore them through your eyes. Hope you will enjoy your stay, really curious what you will explore specialy with viewers suggestions, what a great idea :D have a wonderful time and oh jeah dress like an onion is the only way I survive wintertime, and it's not even THAT cold here haha. If you're going the the Netherlands, come to Utrecht. It's an old and beautiful city. Since Utrecht is in the middle of the Netherlands, you can travel to different area's pretty fast by train or car. Looking forward to your Europe video's. Welcome to my continent! :)

If you do come to London, check out a restaurant in Finsbury Park called Dotori, favorite restaurant of all time! And if you're sick of Asian food (impossible) the whole road there called Stroud Green Road has lots of different and really good cuisine. Also thanks for reply to me on instagram a couple weeks ago when I was travelling Japan, the guide book had some nice ideas in it!

Judging from your previous videos, I think you'd go crazy in Marburg, Germany. It's in the NW, and it's the town where the Grimm brothers studied, so they've filled up the already fairytalish old town, with figures of the animals in their stories.

I'll actually be moving there next month, so maybe I'll hit you two up with some interesting info about the Balkans down the road, but there's some incredible sights there - i.e. Ohrid - and it's ridiculously cheap. Anyway, I've been subscribed for years and you're definitely my favourite channel on YT, so keep up the great work!

if you guys go to Norway should do Norway in a nutshell 🚍 🛥 🚉 get to experience 3 modes of transport and it's a nice way to see fjords. You can take it from Oslo or Bergen

OKAY I'm gonna ramble here, sorry! But yeah the Schengen thing really sucks for Americans, it's one of the reasons I've been on student visas most of the time I've been in Europe. I know you'll be spending time in Gothenburg and Stockholm, but if you get a chance, take one of the night trains/buses up to the northern part of the country. It's a lot darker but the possibility to see the Aurora is there and honestly seeing that is still one of my best memories. Uppsala is also really cool and maybe 45 minutes from Stockholm, there's a medieval castle that's a boat ride down the river and it's kind of awesome. Gamla Uppsala is cool too with the ancient burial mounds, you can definitely feel the difference in the air there. There's also the anatomical theater in the Gustavianum museum in central Uppsala that's really weird and cool. It's from forever ago so is really old timey and kinda creepy, it's one of my favorite things in Uppsala.
For visa stuffs, I would honestly recommend doing a month and half to two months in the Schengen zone, then leaving it for a couple months, then going back. That way you won't feel quite as constrained with time and location. Looks like currently it's only the UK and Ireland that have their own immigration stuffs, and I'm in Ireland, just saying. Lots to explore in both places so I'm pretty sure you won't get bored, the scenery in both is amazing too. I lived in Edinburgh for about 6 months years ago on a work exchange visa and Scotland is great, as is Wales. So many differences in landscapes and just the general feel in different areas of these tiny countries/kingdoms.
AS FOR THE UK I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend northern Scotland and the isles! So many hiking opportunities and the scenery is fucking amazing. Lots of castles and ruins you can climb around in too. Wales is completely gorgeous and there are lots of ponies xD Plus it'll be close to spring when you're there so you'll get to wander through all the flower fields and such. But man yeah there's a ton to do and I can't remember everything right now so I'm just babbling, let me know if you have any specific questions for Sweden/the Nordic countries (because seriously the overnight cruises/buses to Helsinki, Oslo and Copenhagen are worth it).
We really want to enjoy northern areas, but it may be hard to find the time as we are with our friends and they have a lot going on. It may be something we will have to save for a future trip.
However...Scotland might happen! So many people have recommended it! Plus ponies! -E

If your going to the UK you might wanna look into taking the ferry from France cause then at least you can see France for a week or two then just hit a ferry to the UK.
It's possible we will do that on our way southward out of the UK. We found a really cheap flight to the UK and booked it already. -E

The spending several weeks in a place is what I do... I want to absorb what it is like to live there and understand the little details of existence. Being somewhere a few days doesn't cut it. So telecommuting Kyde or otherwise it's still a good plan, in my opinion anyway.
You two are budget conscience, so you’d definitely love PRAGUE! It’s beautiful to start with, and really great on your wallet. Consider it!
