This should be the standard wolverine body mode going forward I’ve been silently begging for a new body mode for wolverine and they gave it to me with Logan from the two pack with sabertooth and now this which I love so much
Explain to me how it’s too tall has anyone look at him next to the Emma frost and cyclops it’s perfect it’s accurate. I don’t understand why you and other people are not seeing that in the comics
@@marvelmdc3130 he's the right height for Astonishing X-Men because he was made taller for that comic. He's too tall to be the standard Wolverine. Standard Wolverine is supposed to be 5'3", 5'5" at most. Emma Frost is 5'10". So yeah, the artists messed up or just wanted Wolverine to be taller to be like Hugh Jackman. Wolverine also isn't supposed to have blue eyes, but that started with the animated series.

Your reviews never cease to amaze me! When it comes to actual informative unbiased reviews you are my go to hands down!!! Hey that Danger figure reminded me of this 4-part run of Wolverine that featured Deadpool (but of course lol) where they tussled with Danger and in a crazy twist of events Wolverine and Deadpool are so mutilated and minced to crap that they fuse their bodies together when they start healing and you get to witness this grotesque combination of them literally inside each other lol! I think it was in the Wolvie comic about a year and a half ago. Hey excellent review/vid ✌️!!!!
I remember being so disappointed with that heat claws Wolverine. the colors were killing me and the fact that they just reused an old head really bummed me out. I was bummed about how they did my favorite costume. Thank goodness this got released. Much happier with this one👍
I almost bought that one because it was cheaper and I liked the black...but those claws just wasn't doing it for me, at least give me some swaps if possible. Anyways, glad you still got the right one...great figure.
Honestly i guess it does kinda bother me that my 97 wolvie has the black peg lines continued and they didnt do the same for him, otherwise i wouldnt be one to call it out. Other than that the boot swivel did have the perfect opportunity here to be a hidden joint. I always appreciate a well hidden joint but also appreciate a natural movement setup. I can work around the lack of boot swivel, as i really only ever twist it ever so slightly for a pose, otherwise it looks broken. My only real issue i guess would be the lack of movement for his head. Hasbro still needs to work on that ball peg range. Thought they would be way better at it since the first time i seen it implemented was the 2020 retro spiderman. Arguably it was better on spidey. But not as pleasing to the eye when you see it from the side and he has a clear cut of space between his head and neck. So with all that said. Its still a great figure yall and i would recommend anyone to cop this if you see it in stores. Get it online if you can before he sells out. No real reason to not want this. All im hearing is excuses 😂 this is how to modernize a classic looking underwearing character. Iron man got his upgrade this year with model 24 and this is no slouch either. Respect to hasbro for switching up the articulation schemes for both of those figures having joints never done right before on those two characters. My only nitpick is the shade of blue couldve been closer to the source material. Still an instant cop!
Great review bro! TBH this fits my minds eye of Wolverine. I understand the critiques and nitpicking, as that’s the only way these companies evolve is through striving for improvement, with that being said, this is my perfect Wolverine, growing up in the 2000’s this costume was on merch EVERYWHERE
Great review, I'm counting the days until my figure arrives. Thanks for the heads up regarding changing heads and possible paint rubs. Never thought about that. How are you going to fix the nose? I never dared to paint or customize my figures.
Decent figure but a pass for me. Although I will admit that it looked really good with the bloody claws on. And I gotta say, I’ve really been enjoying your reviews lately. You not only provide good insight on the figures, but also on the characters they’re based on. Appreciate you going the extra mile for your viewers. Keep up the great work Manny!
Not every Wolverine will have this sculpt since astonishing has all the design patterns and seams sculpted that some of his other costumes wont match for this to be reused. If you mean the same articulation scheme then yes. They can do those on some blank bodies.
My favorite costume is the one he had in Wolverine in the X-Men with the blue mask, but this is close enough (and we’ll probably never getting that), so I am gladly going to pick this up
Really surprised you gave this a 9. After picking this up, it lost points with the ball peg in the neck and the lack of boot swirl. Even with the new added torso, it feels rigid and doesn't move as fluently as Iron Fist. It's not all bad, but they could still do better
Ball peg at the neck didn’t bother me much as I know how to work around that for posing. Honestly, I’m more bothered by the boot swivel not being present.
The one I have has a bit of blue bleed on the inner bicep as well. Not sure if it's the chest, butterfly joint or the shoulder pads doing it. Maybe it's from the heat.
My main gripes are that when you hunch him over he can't look up very well. I'm still also really missing an additional waist swivel. Still a fantastic figure. I can see them doing a re-release without the yellow pads and a neutral maked head. Maybe with danger as a two pack. Make us pay a wolverine tax to justify the new sculpt.
Great review. Nice fig. Haven't heard a single reviewer mention that the colors of the Toybiz one were closer to the artwork than this version. Seems odd that they would go with brighter shades. I prefer the deeper shades for this costume.
This is pretty good. The ankle hinge not being black, and the lack of a calf swivel is annoying, but not game breaking. The thing that irks me the most is the height. After collecting my favs with Marvel Toybiz 6inch figures, I was done. I didn't see myself getting Hasbro's Legends. Especially with the bad sculpting, ugly faces, and lack of paint.Seeing the scale of the Apocalypse Wolverine is what got my interest for Hasbro's figures. Then when the Professor-X figure was announced, I looked at the releases so far and knew they were close to releasing all the animated series X-men. After that it was on. After a while I grew to apriciate the cleaner tooling, and paint. So this figure is cool, but I wish it was shorter.
Ya im not a huge fan like most to pay 25 a figure now, but when they nail the figure and give accessories. I usually am like , " shut up and take my money"!
They need to sculpt a blank body for that with the same articulation scheme as this has sculpted seam and design patterns that won’t match up with that costume.
I have a serious love/hate relationship with the diaphragm/reverse ab crunch combo. I'd be way more happy if they'd put a ball peg in the waist. I really dig the diaphragm joint, but that reverse ab crunch costing us waist swivel... grrrrr. It seems like every time hasbro gives us something potentially awesome, they find a way to make it less awesome. A waist swivel is pretty much a must have, imo. What really gets me, hasbro HAS to know that a ball jointed waist would be better and it couldn't really cost more... so, wtf gives? And that's just a good example of some of the questionable decisions over at hasbro. Don't get me wrong, it's still cool. ...in fact, the movie Venom figure has the same thing going on, yet it's one of my favorite figures. It just coulda went from an 8 to a 10, with a simple ball jointed waist, or at least figure out how to encorperate a swivel. Sik
The 97 bucks isn’t the buck they always used, his arms and legs look less detailed and shaped differently then like triangle/apoc wave/bone breaker etc uses

dope review man! Tbh I have to disagree about the sculpt of this figure. my least favorite part of this figure besides the inaccuracies of the costume, and the fact that he wasn’t given a neutral masked head is the proportions. The arms are too long. The neck is really short, and the chest is too wide for how short his lower torso is so it makes him look stumpy. Also that god awful print tech paint bs they’ve been using on comic figures gave him specs all over his teeth which is so frustrating.
