@01:45 Obviously the Army can’t criticize the government. That would b a political statement. Military can’t function if they get involved in politics. Democracy can’t function if the military meddles into politics.
However, it is expected to b taken care of by the civilian side really well. However, it seems like it’s being abused in this case. This can topple a democracy easily. I’m surprised that it didn’t happen decades ago. Indian military must b crazy about its dharma or something. No other people would take this type of abuse.
If 1857 military coup had succeeded properly India would have been at the top of the world. Then the Gandhi Nehru treachery stepped in. Now, we need to start with five times more military and armed police.

It will tale a very brave CDS to inform government that the armed forces need to be streamlined and better equipped. We have seen numerous examples of late where equipment is failing in use.

The best thing about Indian military is that it is cannot be controlled by any political party the people in the army even though differ in religion caste etc are motivated to serve and give life for the country. Unlike police force which is mostly controlled by politicians and it is very much evident that they are not able to work efficiently to maintain law and order in the country. I think every Indian child must be educated like an army man what ever his/her religion caste or political view may be we must love and respect or country more than anything else.

To run the country or opposition political parties , if someone is showing unfit of health, should we force him or her to leave the post by law. Please think about it.
