the cruelty of this interview has always astounded me, how poised Jean Seberg is post-Bonjour Tristesse when hurled so many difficult questions. i could not help but think of the fragile and fraught photographs of Rinko Kawaguchi and the due diligence to persist forward in The Hunters in the Snow by Bruegel. how does one remain sensible in such daring and difficult times?
you have me so excited for bibliophobia. also loving the soundscapes of these recent vlogs, the music choices and the way they interact with the clips - stunning!!!
This vlog, as per usual, was an EXPERIENCE. I had to pause and take in the editing… perfection. Its rare that a vlog makes me feel and inspires me to create. So thank you. 🫧🌟🪽
This vlog had a scrappiness about it so the cowboy bebop theme is so apt! I can’t believe nathansnook had haters and naysayers - to think, if you’d listened to them the world would be deprived of this fantastic channel. Very very glad you gave them a kindly 🖕🏼and now we all know you ❤
This was fun, meaty fun!!! Seeing myself was an odd(ly delightful) inception moment. I want that nautical book tote now, jealous. The Adsense moment at the end hahahahahaha! Please NEVER change, never EVER!
Thank you for all your videos last year, I have enjoyed them so much. I look forward to many more book discoveries and discussions in 2025 with you. Eleanor x
thank you so much for watching! and yes yes yes to more bookish discoveries and discussions in the new year! wishing you a wonderful reading year ahead ✨📚
Nathan, only you! Jean Seberg. I saw ther Book tag video of you and @modernajumma talking about Bonjour Tristesse. One of my favorite movies….Seberg was not a great actress at the time but so magnetic and captivating. I actually ordered the book watching that video and thinking “Why haven’t I read this!? “ It came today. AND. I am feeling that outfit too!
love the movie as much as i love the book! used to be a major comfort movie for me! just fun and passive and the scenes of the french riviera always seems to ease my spirits. Hope you enjoy the book !
I need to read Elena Knows for my book club in January, so please do keep me abreast of your thoughts! Also, that outfit was crying out for a top-down convertible joyride around the city.
OOOH will get to it for janauary and try to leave early thoughts. perhaps it will mark my first read of the year!!! how exciting! can’t wait for your thoughts on it too ✨💌
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

ahhh thank you kindly 🥹✨🫶🏼 hope you get out there and stay inspired and creative for 2025! 💗
I hope you love Elena Knows! I still think about a specific scene, and given I never remember books, it’s always a sign a book really affected me.
going to be starting it soon!
and don’t you just love when certain scenes stay with you!! to more of those in 2025! ✨📚

yes! once i feel like my apartment feels less like a room with stuff and more like a fully furnished apartment 😭😭😭
I really liked The Book of Goose by Yiyun Li! I would start with that.
good to know! i think i’ll do this one first once i get to her work! ✨🙌🏼
Elena knows was a good read
eep! can’t wait to get to it ✨💪🏼
What reading goal do you have for 2025?
good question! i think it’s to buy less and focus more on back list titles!!! what about you? ✨📚
Dive deeper into more translated books.
Oh dear, your mention of Shop Girl raised memories. It wasn't great.
perhaps one of the worst books i read of 2024!!! 😤😤😤
