I am three minutes in and I can tell you, your reviews are refreshing to listen to. Where have you been hiding in RUclips’s algorithms! I just subscribed.
My first time here - thoroughly enjoyed your video and how articulate and enthusiastic you are. Also, I haven't heard of most of these books - so thank you for the recs.
Is there a vid on your channel that delves into how you got into reading? Your analyses and descriptions are so on point! Did you study literature or do you work in relation to it?
finding your channel feels like such a gift. I'm new to booktube and your taste is mine, from the weird, to the prioritization of translated novels from latam, to the love for Irish novels, ah! I'm irish and puerto rican so this list was like a dream come true. I've added pretty much every title to my tbr, thank you thank you
Omgosh wait that really is super kismet-y! Hiiiiii! So excited to connect more here, I think we'll get along real well haha. Grateful to you for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
kat you do my favourite end of year favourites video of all booktube. your eloquence and proclivity to non popular/not yet popular books makes this absolutely precious to me!! i loved the one last year too (i have no socials, and besides newsletters and yt it’s hard to hear people talk about books as very little people around me read and discuss books critically. This is a public service you do, really!! got so many cool recs from this!! thanks)
This is such a thoughtful, sweet comment! Thank you so much for your kind words! I keep saying it, but this truly is the best little corner of the internet. You are all so kindhearted! Im happy we have similar taste (i know the struggle well of trying to find a like-minded recommender haha!) Thank you again for taking the time to leave this. I appreciate it more than you know ♥️♥️♥️
@katsfieldnotes it’s exactly that, but you are a perfect recommender to me because i’m portuguese (grew up reading latin american books because of my mom and we are exposed to a lot of brazilian literature thankfully) and now live in ireland and you read a lot from both! i bumped soldier sailor all the way up now too. But the irish are just innate story-tellers. an irish friend from work has recommended me queen of dirt island by donal ryan and night boat to Tangier by kevin barry. Love that you include quotes! I'm always curious about writing style and love to preview before committing so it's very helpful to hear quotes you loved. First time viewer and just subscribed! FINALLY someone on booktube who has similar reading taste! ETA: One of my all-time favs is The Hearts Invisible Furies by John Boyne. If you haven't read it, you 100% should. Laughed out loud, cried, felt all the emotions. I feel it fits in so well with the ones you mentioned in this video.
I find quotes such a good taster as well. Im glad they were helpful! And ok, Im taking a trip to Ireland later this year and have a list of books I want to buy there. Will ABSOLUTELY be adding Boyne to the list. I feel like i havent heard a ton about this book, but the few times I have heard it, its been glowing praise. Im very excited! Thank you for recommending it!
@@katsfieldnotes ooo that'll be a beautiful trip! Can't wait to hear what you think whenever you get around to reading it. There is one part (a gay confession to the priest) that had me dying laughing! Enjoy!
The absolute joy I felt when I saw you posted!! Oh my goodness, I could listen to you talk about books all day. Thank you for sharing your favorite reads. I've added every single one I haven't already read 😊Happy New Year 💖✨✨✨
I love the rationale for your list. I plan to read quite a few of these this year. My top 3 books of 2024 were The Other Valley, Dixon Descending, and Beloved (a reread that still holds up).
So good to hear about books with such intelligence! Thank you! I have taken down many of your choices and added them to my TBR list. I don’t read as much as you do, but I really liked The Women by Kristan Hannah. I was a trauma nurse, so this appealed to me and was well done. I see that it is very popular and making many lists of all kinds, but it was my favorite because of the way I related to it personally.
I hope you enjoy some of them if you do end up picking them up! And oooh, yes people love Kristan Hannah. Its always so special to find a book that sees you back. I love that it gave you that ♥️
Absolutely love the way you share about books! I think we have fairly similar tastes, and funnily enough Soldier Sailor is one of the last books I bought in 2024 (I have decided not to buy any books until my birthday/the end of the year in 2025), and I've been drawn to it for a while now, so you made me even more excited to pick it up this year!
The RUclips algorithm blessed me with your channel! The stars aligned and brought me your content. New subscriber! Loved Soldier, Sailor. As a mom, it was at times painful to read. I cried several times because it felt too close to my post partum depression brain.
Hiiiii! Grateful to the algorithm for making us cross paths haha. And YES. I can only imagine how visceral this book must feel to people who have gone through it! Im sorry it was painful to revisit, but hoping there was something validating/healing about seeing it on the page and knowing you're not alone in what you lived ♥️
Thank you YT brought me to you! You are so fun, sweet and lovely to watch- thank you! You’ve just made my TBR stack thicker and I’m not mad at you ;) The fact that you brought up Signs Preceding the End of the World- big props 👊🏼 My faves of 2024: nonfiction = The Anxious Generation and fiction = 27. The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Daré . Fave thus far far is 2025 is a work in translation for 1995 that I think you’d enjoy based on your video- I Who Have Never Known Men which I believe is considered to be speculative fiction/ sci-fi/ feminist fiction and is a MUST READ that I am so happy to have stumbled upon. Thank you again- and now to follow you on your socials! VIVA la RAZA 🎉
I was hoping for another of your year-end award wrap up videos! What a great reading year! Clean is one I hadn't heard of but it sounds so so good. Added it to my list!
Ive been trying to read the book of delight so many times as well and the way you spoke of it is giving me the push - i wanna join our wilderness too!! So lovely to delight in your amazing reading year. This background is extremely pleasing - so cozy!!
Im glad Im not the only one who had a couple of false starts with it, but ugh is it lovely once you and it get on the same page! And grateful for you Yena!

I’m so glad I found you! I thoroughly enjoy your vocabulary nd can’t wait to learn from you! Do you ever do book clubs or conversations on books you are reading in real time?
Hiiiii! This is so kind! I don't do book clubs unfortunately. Im actually pretty phone-averse and am looking to chuck it and be as offline as possible haha. But ill be posting more monthly wrapups so that might be a happy medium!
@@katsfieldnotes I actually just read/finished Foster and my heart is not the same! Keegan's use of language and the imagery is so impressive! I was reading there is a film adaptation of it called The Quiet Girl on Hulu that I may check out if I can handle it lol

Aw happy to have you here, and you're very welcome! Lots of people seem to like the quotes bit, so Ill def make sure to do that consistently in the future. Happy 2025!!!
Really appreciate all of your insight and opinions, this video is refreshing ! I clicked because I saw you read Annie Bot and was pleasantly surprised by your book choices and descriptions . Subscribed right away.
Hi 👋 New subscriber here. I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did! One of my goals for this year is to get back into reading literary fiction. It was my bread and butter until lockdown when I sought out "lighter" reads. But I so appreciate hearing you talk about all these books and showing that literary fiction can be fun as well as beautiful and thought-provoking!
I so relate to wanting to find lighter, less demanding reads. And I think its ok to listen to those instincts because its likely exactly what you needed at that time, but VERYYYY happy youre coming back to the litfic club haha. Yes! There is so much thematic and stylistic diversity within litfic, you're gonna have a good time rediscovering her!
Yayyy Kat I’ve been waiting for this!! Missed your videos, really appreciate how you do the end of year wrap up. And our taste is so similar that I’m taking notes the wholeeee time haha. The Wren The Wren is calling to me! Also the biggest shock is Intermezzo not making your top 10 😱
Hi friend!!! Happy happy New Year! I so think you would vibe with The Wren, The Wren! And IM CACKLING! You know what! 😂 She was a super close contender haha. Appreciate you always!
the intermezzo high praise!! i somehow still have not read it (I know, I know) and have been hearing mixed things so the fact that its your fav of hers makes me excited to read!
Ignore the naysayers! Intermezzo is such a feat. It also made me bawl at the end, which is always fun 😂 Idk how she does what she does, but my god am I so grateful to her. You have to pick it up soooon!
Truly was an experience, that book. Have you read any of her others? Im so curious how her other books read, but I just have so much affection for Carmel and Nel
I had missed you so much❤❤I successfully guessed the most anticipated read too 🥰 I end the year with Bernardine Evaristo's Manifesto and I am looking forward to a new year of reading, wishing you an amazing 2025 full of love, books and travelling 💜💓💜
Friennnnnnnd! Hiiiiii! Hahaha I am nothing if not predictable 😂 And I had to look that book up because I had not heard of it at all. Im so curious! I also need to read Girl, Woman, Other. Thank you highlighting this! And same to you! Wishing you a beautiful, loving 2025!! ♥️♥️♥️
LOVE your taste in books!! 😄 I am glad I've stumbled upon this video, because there's just so much more fantasy/romance/sci-fi on booktube. Excited to watch more of your content, thank you! Among my favorites this year were: The Safekeep by Yael van der Wouden (beautiful writing, important themes, love and desire, it has it all!) First Love by Lilly Dancyger (an essay collection on friendship, made me feel very nostalgic)
Hi Sabrina! Ooooh, Ive seen The Safekeep here and there, but now that you personally recommend it I am very intrigued! And I so co-sign First Love! Its such a special collection. Loved it as well ♥️ so happy you're here!
I LOVE your reviews and channel. I can't wait to check out these books when I can. I checked out Catalina after you raved about it and honestly it's been so fun and hilarious. I need more weird Latina characters. Thank u for sharing new books I don't really hear about.
@@katsfieldnotes it's such a ride! I read undocumented americans before this so I was thoroughly surprised with how her fiction reads but I love Catalina as a character. lol she is so relatable. I can't wait to eventually read other books you really enjoy cause u got good taste
Girl, you are glowing in this video! Linda, linda, linda! Also, I love your decor - how do you organize your books? Currently reading Intermezzo for my book club and I'm quite enjoying it. I didn't really like BWWAY, but Intermezzo feels amazing so far.
Hahaha uyyyyy, muchas gracias! ☺️ Funny you ask that, literally working on my bookshelf reorg video right now! Semi-systems that only sometimes work, but we do what we can 😂 Ugh! Savor Intermezzo. What a special ride that book is! Could def see why youre enjoying it more than BWWAY! Thank you for being here, love! ♥️
First time watching one of your videos and I'm obsessed with you. I'm a newish mom, I've already borrowed Soldier Sailor from the library! So excited! Update- I read it and LOVED it ! I have some criticisms (perhaps a bit of dishonesty on the part of the author?) but overall amazing
Your reads are so thought provoking. As a mother, I’m very interested to dive into Solider Sailor. Thanks for the additional novels I will be putting on my TBR for 2025! ✨
Im jealous you get to read it for the first time! Enjoy (or whatever the verb is that one experiences in that book -- def a wide feeling of /something/) Happy reading!! ♥️
I LOVE CLAUDIA PIÑEIRO! One of my favorite authors that I have discovered in the last few years. I clicked on the video after seeing Elena Knows in the thumbnail. She is amazing, and I had the pleasure of hearing her talk in person at La Noche de las Librerías here in Buenos Aires. You must read A Little Luck. I may have liked that one even more than Elena Knows.
She is a QUEEN! I am so jealous that you got to hear her in person. That is officially a bucket list item for me. She's such a compelling thinker. I actually tried a little luck and struggled a teeny bit, so I switched over to Time of the Flies and am REALLLLY vibing with that one! I have to give a little luck another go!
this is such a cool/unique idea for videos. thanks for this and i now have a lot more books on my already long list of tbrs. i would love if you did a monthly book club or something. I love your insights and intelligence :).
Thank you so much for watching! Im definitely going to try to be more consistent in 2025, so more monthly wrapups to come! I appreciate your kind words!

oh man, Kat, your recommendations are just 💯thank you always for your thoughtful reviews! and oops, how did all these books get into my shopping cart......
Yes! There are SO many books published out there and we often hear the same few! I'm trying to make a habit of reading more widely. Thank you for watching! ☺️
Kat! You are the only booktuber that I share my niche tastes with 😂 ❤ my fave read this year was December Breeze by Marvel Moreno - written in the 80s by a member of the Barranquilla group and published in English translation in 2022. It’s sooooo good!! Recommend for your tbr!
**opens arms wide for hug** yes to having very specific weird taste haha! AND WAIT! I stg I justttt pulled this one off my shelf to read! I was doing an unhaul and completely forgot I had it and the blurb sounded SO fascinating. Your comment is the co-sign I needed. Prioritizing this now. I appreciate you!
New subscriber! You're so good at this, I genuinely want to read every single book you've talked about. My favourites of the 2024 were Our Wives Under The Sea by Julia Armfield and Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.
Eeeep! Helllllo! Very happy youre here! And that is my favorite compliment haha, I appreciate you! Ugh, I MUST do an Armfield this year! So many people love her! And is Rebecca scary??? Asking for a friend (me, im the friend 😂) I feel like shes a great classic to pick up but im lowkey very scared
Oh you're in for a RIDE! I miss that narrator, I feel she and I would be friends IRL (well, maybe. 'Cause she had one impulsive moment that ... escalated very quickly. But aside from that 😂)
ok i only say unserious to detract from how wholly serious i took the superlatives??? i know its cool to not care and we're on a floating rock or whatever, but the stakes felt high 😂
Catalina!!! I'm so curious about what's next for KCV! + love your insights into lit criticism (the shadow side)! Speaking of lit stuff: A friend gifted me Frantumaglia for Christmas and I wanna delve into it later in da yearrr!
Hola! Estoy muy feliz de te haber encontrado y tus videos. Tus reseñas de libros son muy comprensivas y me hacen de querer leer muchos libros este año. Estoy aprendiendo español y disculpe por los errores 😂
I enjoyed these reviews. I agree, you introduce books I don’t typically see on social media. How do you discover your books and do you have a favorite genre?
Thank you! Lately Ive been walking into my library and seeing what they have which has been such a nice retreat from algorithm-reading, which is hard to avoid! But yeah, getting recommendations from articles and irl-sources, mostly (but also super heavily influenced by booktube and bookstagram friends too!)
Soldier Sailor! I just finished it based on your recommendation. As a mother of three, I have no sufficient words. Beautiful book, thank you for the recommendation. 😭♥️
Omg wait I love how quickly you read that haha, but RIGHT!!? Its such a moving book, and I think even more impactful for those that have lived through it. Im so glad you enjoyed it!! ♥️
Rejection seems to be the dark horse favourite this year! Totally agree with what you said about Splinters - too much like picking her scabs in public. It’s too bad because I really enjoyed her sensibility too this book and this kind of ruined it for me. Always love hearing your reviews!
The hype is so well deserved for Rejection! And picking scabs in public -- yes! That's precisely it! Im still thinking of reading her other, but definitely walking in with more of a level head. I hope 2025 treats you well!
"Yay! I am on a quest to read more diversely and have struggled with finding authors from other parts of the world beyond African and conventional Western literature. I'm glad to have come across your page so I can explore these."
The discussion on Clean (about 41:00) resonates as it speaks to the unnatural subservience we have to work in the US. It abrades our capacity to be present to our families and ourselves in a way that feels violent and violating which makes violence more available and, shockingly, maybe even more defensible. No one should be in perpetual servitude all their lives.
800000%! Thats a wonderful connection and totally agree with you! You should definitely pick it up, I feel you would maybe enjoy Trabucco's explorations!
Awwwwwww! Highkey I missed yall so much too! Ill say it until im blue in the face, this is the best corner of the internet. You guys are the sweetest 😭😭😭♥️
Ah, I must add that to my list! I really want to watch Small Things Like These, too, but it frustratingly is not being showed widely here! Than you for the recommendation!

I've added every single one I haven't already read 😊Happy New Year 💖✨✨✨
Awww, thank YOU for this lovely comment! I hope you have an amazing reading year in 2025!! 💝🫶🏽
So sad this is my first video of your channel and as a fellow Latina alot of your recommendations are soo good!!!!
I’m definitely following! ❤️
Hola amiga! No pasa nada, were connected now haha! I'm so happy you're here! Looking forward to chatting more with you ☺️
Thank you YT brought me to you!
Add to your list asap! It was so so fun (but also astute and haunting) A banger! Happy new year Sara!
yeee another year of bookish superlatives! i love these 💓
Yay! Its so much fun to make, so im glad its also not a chore to watch haha
I LOVE how you review books!
Yaaay! So lovely to see your videos pop up on my feed always.

Thank you so much for watching! Happy to have made the reading list a little longer for you haha. There are so any good books out there!
Soldier Sailor was my favourite book for 2024 as well, such a fantastic book!
I’ll be picking up monsters, great video!
Ugh, what Kilroy does in that book is next levellll. I miss it everyday. And Monsters is so great, hope you enjoy that one!
I always add great and interesting books to my tbr thanks to you !
your videos literally feed my need for intellectual stimulation
Aw yay! I love being a menace (positive statement) to a tbr haha. Thank you for watching!
I was thinking of you today how its been a littel while since you posted and here you are 😭❤️❤️❤️
Wah, you guys are so thoughtful! Going to try and make being a little more consistent on here a 2025 goal. Thank you for sticking around! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
@@katsfieldnotes Take your time to create ❤️. We will be here waiting for you 🥰
i cant believe it! i just look in your channel again half an hour ago to see if you had posted sth new and maybe i havent been notified, and here you are! so good to have you back! all these are added to my tbr 🤣
Hahahaha wait omgosh that's so funny! The best kind of kismet! Grateful that you checked in (and thank you for watching!) If you end up reading any of these, you have to let me know your thoughts ♥️

Love your reviews Kat, your thinking and way of speaking about books has me excited to read so many of these. Thank you and wishing you a great 2025 reading year! ✨
Awwww this is so sweet! Hiiiii! I hope this year is filled with excellent excellent reads for you too! ♥️♥️
thank you!! 💚💚💚
But ill be posting more monthly wrapups so that might be a happy medium!
came up on recommended and love the way you talk about books! adding a bunch to my tbr! 📚
Ooooh, if you read any you have to let me know!
@@katsfieldnotes I actually just read/finished Foster and my heart is not the same! Keegan's use of language and the imagery is so impressive! I was reading there is a film adaptation of it called The Quiet Girl on Hulu that I may check out if I can handle it lol
@@emilybeagle55 OMG! Yeah that book was the most delicate way my heart has been wrecked ever. Her language is sooo exacting and impactful in that one, youre right! And so many have recommended the adaptation! I hope you enjoy it! I need to follow suit and watch as welllll
Just found your channel, and I adore the way you talk about books. Thank you so much for reading so many excerpts and putting the quotes on the screen, so appreciated! Gives me such a better feel for the books. Happy new year! 🎇
Happy new year. Loved the video and great recommendations .
Happy happy new year! Thank you so much for watching!
New subscriber and just wanted to say I really enjoyed this video and I like your chill, laid back vibe! :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!!! so glad to hear you love clean, i have a copy but havent read yet and its now on my january tbr
HIIIII FRIENDDDDD! I need your thoughts as youre reading that one. I was sneaking that book everywhere, literally could not put it down. Miss you!
very well done.. thank you. will pick up a couple of these.. have already read several. Subscribed.
Stunning recommendations 🫶🏽🫶🏽
What a line up!You reminded me of The Wren, The Wren. I really enjoyed that reading experience. I loved being IN it.
1st time here, subscribed and took notes on a few!
Hiiiii! Welcome, and so happy you're here! 🙋🏽♀️♥️

thank you! the book world has given us a bounty
I’m so glad I’ve found your channel! I’m always looking for Latin litfic.
Me too haha! Will hopefully come across some good ones in 2025 🤞🏽
LOVE your taste in books!! 😄 I am glad I've stumbled upon this video, because there's just so much more fantasy/romance/sci-fi on booktube. Excited to watch more of your content, thank you!
Among my favorites this year were:
The Safekeep by Yael van der Wouden (beautiful writing, important themes, love and desire, it has it all!)
First Love by Lilly Dancyger (an essay collection on friendship, made me feel very nostalgic)
Ah, I love that you've already picked it up! Isnt it a RIDE! Shes one of mt fav fictional characters Ive read haha. You're so welcome!
@@katsfieldnotes it's such a ride! I read undocumented americans before this so I was thoroughly surprised with how her fiction reads but I love Catalina as a character. lol she is so relatable. I can't wait to eventually read other books you really enjoy cause u got good taste
Ran into your channel today and you are a gem 😘 You are so beautiful, speak English AND Spanish and love reading?! Girl. Subscribed 😊
Hahahaha welcome! Happy to have you here ☺️♥️
I love these recommendations :) Can't wait to check them out especially Juno Loves Legs.
That book has SUCH a special place in my heart. Truly, fully, enjoy that one! 🥹
Funny you ask that, literally working on my bookshelf reorg video right now!
I have to give a little luck another go!
the hair is hairinggggg 💘
Hahaha I got that new shark flex, baby. its my new fav toy 😂
this is such a cool/unique idea for videos. thanks for this and i now have a lot more books on my already long list of tbrs. i would love if you did a monthly book club or something. I love your insights and intelligence :).
Thank you so much for watching! Im definitely going to try to be more consistent in 2025, so more monthly wrapups to come! I appreciate your kind words!
@ i’m looking forward to it!
hii i just randomly stumbled upon your video,, and god ure such a joy to watch, i love how articulate you are with your words :D im subscribing for sure
Hiiiii! Happy to have you here! 🤗♥️♥️
I may have to put every one of these on my tbr.
oh man, Kat, your recommendations are just 💯thank you always for your thoughtful reviews! and oops, how did all these books get into my shopping cart......
Awww, this is sweet! Thank YOU for watching! And I very much condone the oopsie-proceed-to- checkout on these 😂
Wow, your channel is interesting. I like the variety of book choices including those in Spanish.
@ hahah omg love that serendipity! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts 🤗
Omg I missed you so much ❤🎉
Awwwww! Truly this is the best little corner of the internet 😭♥️♥️♥️
Such great books! Ok, I have just bought "Soldier, Sailor" and will be the next book I will read!
So excited for you to read. Kilroy really did the dang thing with that book!
I just recently picked up It Lasts Forever and Then It’s Gone so I’m glad you liked it!
Oh you're in for a RIDE! I miss that narrator, I feel she and I would be friends IRL (well, maybe. 'Cause she had one impulsive moment that ... escalated very quickly. But aside from that 😂)
Happy to see someone giving love to Annie Bot and Liars. I read both of those books this year. I agree they are standouts.
Yes! Truly two books that I struggled to shake after reading them (a great sign!)
the superlatives are so serious to me i am waiting w bated breath for each one
ok i only say unserious to detract from how wholly serious i took the superlatives??? i know its cool to not care and we're on a floating rock or whatever, but the stakes felt high 😂
@@katsfieldnotes the stakes are high!
Catalina!!! I'm so curious about what's next for KCV! + love your insights into lit criticism (the shadow side)! Speaking of lit stuff: A friend gifted me Frantumaglia for Christmas and I wanna delve into it later in da yearrr!
You loving an Amina Cain was not in my bingo card for 2024 jajajajajajajaja
2025 will be my claudia piñeiro yearrrr
that God quote is making me wanna re-read Normal People :*(
adding Rejection to my tbr!!
Truly woulda never heard of juno loves legs if it wasn't for u... can't wait to read it!
I love how you do non-popular books! You should please do a video on Beloved and Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison! Thank you
Hola!
But yeah, getting recommendations from articles and irl-sources, mostly (but also super heavily influenced by booktube and bookstagram friends too!)
this was beautifully done! where are the background shelves from?
I got them recently from Nathan James! Thank you!
You know who I think you really align with in book taste here on BookTube? … Ana Wallace Johnson. Love both of you!!
Amiga!!! First, thank you for the shoutout. Second, I loved every minute of this video.🧎♀You already know I'm reading Soldier Sailor immediately!
You must! After Bibliophobia (hypeeeeeeeee!)
I haven’t seen anyone else talk about Juno Loves Legs! It was definitely a top read for me last year.
Its criminal how underrated that book is, truly. But am happy you experienced its magic 🥹
4:50 - amazing description and I learned the word ephemera.
6:00 ruthless interrogation of characters
7:00 fidelity to so many aspects of humanity
21:50 grief
25:47 Must read: Rejection by Tulathimutte
Here to say yes to the tulathimutte must read comment haha!
Yesss, Liars and Soldier Sailor were both such great explorations of domesticity.
Fantastic, painful, exasperating explorations! Grateful they exist in the world
"Yay! I am on a quest to read more diversely and have struggled with finding authors from other parts of the world beyond African and conventional Western literature. I'm glad to have come across your page so I can explore these."
Ooooh, Im also trying to break out of the western lit box so were well paired haha
Kat I think I speak for everyone when I say, we missed you so much!
Awwwwwww! Highkey I missed yall so much too! Ill say it until im blue in the face, this is the best corner of the internet. You guys are the sweetest 😭😭😭♥️
Foster is so beautiful 🥺 if you haven't already watched, the movie An Cailín Ciúin is based on Foster and it's gorgeous as well !
Ah, I must add that to my list! I really want to watch Small Things Like These, too, but it frustratingly is not being showed widely here! Than you for the recommendation!
I love the way you talk about books. Are you a writer?
Hi! Thank you! I definitely romanticize the idea of identifying as a writer but don't write nearly enough to wear the badge of honor 😂
Great reviews! I feel like you would like Sheila Heti's Motherhood if you havent read it already.
See, you get me so well! LOVED motherhood. That book started my existential spiral around this question I fear 😂
Wrote a couple of these down. Thank you in advance 😁
Yay! Happy reading!
i am sat for the award show 🏆
babes i still need to read catalina which is unacceptable bc i was so hyped for it & you even sent me a copy. i have NO excuse! the quotes you read were hilarious lmao
piñeiro ❤️ so impressed with how many of her books you’ve made your way thru after reading elena knows
10/10 for the superlative categories 👏🏼
omg the dedication on tryna to get you an ebook of rejection while you were in DR 😂
