I tore ribs from my chest bone trying to sit on a cement wall higher than my a$$ was. My flippy spinny days are long over. 😂 Jeez it hurts for over 2 weeks now. I don't recommend it at all.

I couldn't care less about gymnastics, but it truly is amazing the power these athletes have.
Lifting gets the attention for strength, but the ability to launch yourself into the air like that is beyond simple strength, but closer to defiance of the laws of nature.

She is just recovering from an effed up ankle and, at 27, is the oldest U.S.woman to compete in this sport in 72 years. I'm not an American but this is impressive to any well adjusted observer. No shade on Ozzy Man. He is doing comedy.
Yeah, her former teammate, also 27 years old, is already retired from the sport.
@@adb888 It shows how quickly we humans reach our peak. 27 is over the hill with most high energy athletes. I felt great at 28. Long ago.
Incredible genetics and superior dedication to her craft. Also PEDs, delayed puberty, and growth. Longevity in the sport has increased drastically, but at a cost. She's already paid some of that cost.
@@karma_iswhoIam Is she infertile from the puberty blocker? If so, it's is far too high a price. Maybe her knees and hips are worn out. I dunno but no one is talking about it.
@@adb888 Rebeca Andrade, the silver medalist in the all-around, has had three ACL tears, at 25. At this pace, she won't have knees at all by the time she reaches 30. They're fantastic athletes and competiors, but this sport is just too insane on the body! Both Biles and her are probably done in a couple of years max.
