Loving this story, I've already shared it with several friends with the same love of sci-fi and medieval fantasy. The best mix of these genres that we've come across.
Really enjoying the story! A couple things id like to point out for future projects is, some transitions are really sudden and confusing. They might only be an issue because i didnt realize there was a chapter change that jumped forward in time. I thought id missed a part. Less important, but im a bit of a military nerd and a railgun firing solid titanium instead of tungsten is a small mistake. Projectiles typically need to be dense while not being too brittle. Lead was originally the choice but being capable to produce projectiles of tungsten was an upgrade because it is just as dense while harder but still not brittle. Depleted uranium functions similarly to tungsten while also igniting when hitting a hard surface and leaving a film of oxidized radioactive metalic powder
I studied The Once and a Future King in high school and it helped me get into King Arthurian legends. I love the spin you put into this story. The only thing would of made this funny is if there were French taunting him, or meeting " Tim."
Lol the French taunting him would have been funny, but I don't get the Tim reference. I love The Once and Future King and read it to two of my sons as a bedtime story.
@jjgreen1333 It was supposed to be a joke referencing Monty Python. There was a scene where the French taunt him at a castle. They ask to see their king because they are on a quest for the Holy Grail. The French tell King Arthur they already got a grail, of course, they were messing with him. They start taunting him and the knights. The Tim reference was a great enchanter they meet. When they ask him his name, he says " some call me ( hesitates) Tim." The actor had actually forgot his line, and ad lived the name Tim. They kept it in the movie. It's wonderful British humor throughout the film. Though I an from the states, I love British humor .
Glad the good guys found Hope. Looking forward to "The Fearless".
So glad you liked the story and hope you enjoy The Fearless too.
