    Okay so I just had to acknowledge this awesome bit writing with how Commander Felix was explaining about the differences between doing the what's Right and respectable despite the inherent difficulties and will choose to be or do the wrong thing because it seems easier and how people who don't understand will fight harder to do the wrong thing even it puts themselves and possibly others around them too much more trouble in order to do the wrong thing or to be wrong

    So . . . You're thinking of spawning a second trilogy in this universe? What will be the premise? Will all three deal with the immortals?
    Yes . . . I'm asking for the last chapter of the last book first. I really like to know there's a light at the end of the tunnel. That way I can better enjoy the journey.

    • @larssgt
      @larssgt  Год назад +4

      Yes, but it will be on a whole 'nother level.
      Sodenia did not go down, but neither did the immortals. I don't want to spoil it for you but let's just say Andromeda is now in the picture.
      Stay tuned.

    Really loved the story. I stuuggled a little until i realized it reminded me of an anime. Once i looked at it from the point of view of a school full of emotional insecure and idealistic kids everything made sense. Im guessing thats what you ment when you said you tried someone different.
    Some constructive criticism if your open to it.
    Plan out each character's personality deeply and give them more variety. Superficially they are all different but most of the characters seemed similar enough to be close friends or even siblings because of their thought processes.
    I struggled with the dichotomy of these people being the best at what they do but also very unconfident with themselves outside of their 1 nearly superhuman strength. It facilitates the kids saving the world and personal interactions between them, but everyone falling in love with the captain and the fallout there doesnt replace character development. Everyone seems to be introduced as themselves and they dont change throughout the series, but perhaps that was as intended.
    Either way ill continue listening and awaiting whatever new stories you release, the universe and storyline are very enjoyable

    • @larssgt
      @larssgt  Месяц назад

      @@BrokeWrench thank you for listening. I purposely try to stay away from strong characters and focus on the plot and story. That being said I do feel like I have it in me, to deliver a well rounded story, but not until a few more books from now. A bad character can ruin a story quickly which is why I choose to make them enough ;). If you haven't already head on to Fortress which takes place in the future of this outcome.

    And this is why you dont date subordinates in the military. You start putting them before the mission.
    Even putting everyone's future at risk in a shortsighted attempt to protect them now. Which could probably be explained as one of his personality traits i guess

    Great story, plot and narrators through the series. My autism kicked in where he stated how fast he was traveling in miles per hour around 1 he and 27 mins or so into it. I know light travels at 186,282 mps, and they were traveling at roughly 8.2 times the speed of light for 10 hours, so how did you calculate their speed at 282,179,931,297,523,070 mph? Just thinking I may have missed something here? Did they travel through the ring?

    • @larssgt
      @larssgt  Год назад +1

      Great question. Lever level 8 or The theoretical maximum, makes Sodenia's max speed unknown and not constant. It's shot in the dark if you will. But Kya would guestimate their 10-hour travel time thanks to their known distance to Doka of 8.2 thousand light years and their minimum constant of .82 lightyears per hour. By the time they got near Doka, they were overshooting it by quite some speed. The numbers were so large that Fain couldn't comprehend.

      And thanks for making these audiobooks available on RUclips. I grew up listening to radio serials in the mid-1950's and since my eyes have been aging and it's difficult at times to hold books for very long these days, audiobooks have been a bit of a salvation for me of late; kind of bringing me full circle back to the beginning of my literary adventures.

      @@Obligate.Carnivore Yup remember that well... though my time was well before 8-tracks 😏. I listened in bed in a darkened room to the stories emanating from a tube radio on my bookcase with a dial glowing pink from a neon bulb. The Shadow, Inner Sanctum, Lights Out, The Lone Ranger... companions all. Some were entertaining adventures, mysteries, comedy ... and some absolutely terrifying. I've read many thousands of books since, but it's tough to match the primitive intimacy of the Storyteller at a flickering campfire. A wonderful time to grow up.
