Interesting idea but it can get pretty costly unless you only need a few tiles. I went to flor.com and noticed the ones i liked were $24-26 per tile. It adds up quickly.

this has answered so many questions. i have ceramic tiles in my new house and i can do this to ease the hard impact on my legs and back in areas I use the most.

Nice, but pull the carpet out a couple of inches from the wall. It would look better and fill up the room more.
Kind of kicking myself for not exploring tiles as an option. Side note. Don't piss on the rug, it really ties the room together.
We purchased some U Tile modular carpet tile and forgot to buy the U Tile tape.....Duh......We thought we had to peel the tape off the back off the carpet shares....Back to Menards we go....
That was fun... but I don't recommend wrapping a body for transportation in a carpet tile carpet...;O)
