Sohyangs upper 5th octave is a amazing so when she hits a chest mix note in 6th octave its impressive but not necessary and wouldn't make the song less enjoyable if she didn't. She's older so I wouldn't be as worried about injury but just using it as an example. Ariana Grande the same when she tries to go to the upper 5th octave, she strains and doesn't need it to make the song. Just don't want to see these young singers get hurt for no reason.

@@SquidProQuo80 Mori lost ALL major singing contests she joined since she was 9/10 years old (made it upto the semifinals in The Voice PH) , but she didn't give up and continued to work and improve after each one. Her resilience plus her intense, fiery way of performing makes Phoenix a fitting moniker 😊

MORISSETTE AMON has power and a great range. She also has control in her voice. She sings with her heart not just belt and belt like other singers like they are screaming lol. MORISSETTE AMON'S DICTION TOO AND HER SQUEAK AND VIBRATO ARE AMAZING. AND HER GROWL. ESPECIALLY HER WHISTLE NOTES. SHE'S A QUEEN.
It's not screaming, its hitting the note in the octave.. finding of like a guitar note being played. learn about music and come back here. just because she can't hit the notes with resonance and support, don't hate on the others. I know you have to support your queen... but be real.. no one cares about whistle register, except a dog

@@flickcraze Mariah is more than whistle. Whistle is more novelty than anything else. It is not sustained nor resonating, and if you rely on it as your claim to fame, and can't hit supported mixed voice notes high in the 5th octave, you have issues.
@Macus Alexander Liew If you wanna measure her real vocal range, you should take a look at her supported notes from low to high register. I'm sure she doesn't have even 2 octaves.
