- Kerry O'Keeffe and Harsha Bhogle, apparently commentating the cricket. 3rd Day of the 2012 Sydney Test match between Australia and India. The audio and pictures belong to the ABC, I do not own any of the content in this video.
I love the melodic, musically accented tones of Harsha Bhogle combined with the larger than life, gargantuan laugh and gre•gar•i•ous character, that is Kerry James "Skull" O'Keeffe.
There was no audience in the comm box - this was the crowd beneath the media boxes at the SCG! Many people listen to the ABC commentary on portable radios and almost all who were at this time had their heads turned to the ABC box trying to encourage Kerry. Channel Nine and the players had no idea why a section of the ground had burst into a slow hand clap. Hilarious!

I used to turn off the TV to listen to Harsha and Skull commentating. Skull was surprisingly knowledgeable about the game and emerging talent, Harsha's love of the game and its history always shone through. Plenty of funny banter between them yet so respectful of each other. They were so good to listen to individually but together it was just magic.
Also Skull with Jonathan Agnew (Aggers) when Australia was against England. I always had the volume down on the tv & the ABC playing on the radio.
Just for the record, I grew these chillis. I passed them up via my mate's son who I lifted up to the window of the commentary box (the old MA Noble stand). We were the "end of the over" boys. Was a hilarious 10 minutes that followed.
I miss the old MA Noble stand with the commentary box so close to the crowd.

I listened to this live and was in hysterics. Poor MC had no idea why they were slow hand clapping him. Was absolutely brilliant.
I remember where I was when this happened.
I was sitting in the Bill O'Rielly Stand at that same Test Match listening to the ABC on my radio taking a look at the Commentary area to see the reactions of the crowd around.
It's become an iconic moment mate. I've played to my young kids and they laughed their heads off.

Vindaloo is from Goa which is why Harsha didn't know that vindaloo is India. It is cooked with vinegar introduced by the Portuguese, vino loo.
