I also want to add that such things should be criticized in all countries including India, as you rightly said it's not a comedy show where people come and pass comments .
I have played cricket against Indian teams here in Melbourne, they racially villify Australians all the time in hindi and laugh about it. I know this as one of our players married an Indian woman and speaks hindi fluently having spent 5 years in India. You guys are as bad as Australians, no difference tbh.
What’s funny was Tim paine came in as captain carrying all that “good guy” image and talking about changing the team culture and then turned out to be the worst there ever has been in Aus! Cos usually the others purely sledged which imo was okay but this guy showed how classless he is with his language!
agreed! we didn’t show fight when we needed too. at the gabba, we made 360 odd, india 170/6 and they end up making 330! our heads were in the wrong space. we focused on sledging more than the game itself.
I don't think Tim paine ever crossed that line. Indian legends also sledged. Whatever happened in the field between the players is totally acceptable but here these guys are talking about the racial slurs passed by the audience. I don't know why ppl hate Tim Paine.
