With the current ashes series on, I bumped into Merv Hughes last week in London. He was happy to have his photo taken with me. It's not something I often do as I'm sure they get a bit fed up with it, but as it was so surprising to see him walking in a London Street I seized the moment.

RIP Shane. The way he describes Hughes as being better on flatter wickets where there isn't much happening, makes me think of Neil Wagner. Very similar cricketers, aggressive, big-hearted and love to intimidate batsmen. Similar records, too.
