I think 1 more reason is that Australia never believed they wouldn't win at Gabba. I think they prepared well enough for the contenders. Mayank aggarwal, shaw, Rohit couldn't score. Pujara was restricted for scoring runs. I think they had no plan when Shardul , washi started to score and then Shubman, Pant just displayed absolute brilliance.

The media in my country (India), in a similar situation, tend overdo the lament & often ignore a visiting team's good display. We could pick up a few good points from this video.

What rubbish logic is being put forward as if it was India's fortune that Warner and Smith went missing in 2018-19 tour. They were not injured mate, they were banned! Because they deemed fit it was okay to use sandpaper in a game of cricket. Get that in your head! Warner and Smith are gems of Australian cricket and we also love Tim Paine as much

When Rohit Sharma fell indians thought within 1 hour whole batting line-up will fall apart in pieces. It was nothing less than the miracle to win the test match without the contribution of modern day greats of india.
Kohli away ,Rohit didn't score, rahane left India in the middle. It was youngsters magic. It made me remember 2007 T20 world cup.
