I remember seeing this video once on VH1 back in the day, very early in the morning. Never saw it again. I was totally taken. I am a metalhead, and always laughed at Toto because I was ignorant to their musicianship. I have recently re-discovered not only this song, but the talent and songwriting that Toto has. Incredible song.

Few guitar players can play to Luke's level and he is a world renowned guitar talent that is respected by EVH, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Satriani, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour and George Benson to name but a few. Then you must add on to this amazing talent the fact that he can sing and has sang lead vocals on some major hits and pop ballads of the 80's and 90's and is an accomplished vocalist as well. He can even sing and play at the same time. Luke is also reported to be a good keyboard player as well.

From the lyrics to the songs to the singers, there has always been a sense of class and majestic sensibility to Toto -- I started out listening to Toto IV as a teen. So many great songs that hold up no matter the year.
Timeless Toto! Even though there are less than 1 million of views but this song still remains timeless. Finally, it's not about how many views you have, it's about how many hearts you've have been rocked all day long any time listening to your songs. Thanks Toto, because my heart is still rocking anytime I listen to any of your songs.

Luke and this band are behind so many of the hits in the 80s. I read his Bio and it changed my life! Luke I love your work! I've been a fan basically my entire life. Before music was digital I would run to the radio to hit record when a song of toto came on and then id play it over and over again, writing down all the lyrics in my journal. Those were the good days. Something about having no control over when your favorite song will play makes it all the more special. This song is so haunting and beautiful. RIP Jeff Pocaro.

Toto is perhaps my favorite band of all time. I don't think they ever put out a bad song. Most of the band are session artists. Together, so many talented musicians really can't go wrong.
