I felt so sorry for Skye: her fate was sealed the second she watched Lewis gruesomely kill himself in his apartment. Skye's days were numbered from that point on.
So I think after the part in her apartment where she was attacked by her dancers and knocked out, everything after that wasn't actually happening. Killing her mom, meeting with Morris at the Pizza Hut; was all fake. The smile entity was having her get ready for the tour in basically a blacked out state of mind, until it was ready to put her back in control when it got her on stage. I think that is why it told her "I like wearing your skin", because it was actually in control of her body. I feel like the 3rd movie has to be a prequel, in order to advance the story and give more background to the smile entity. Looking forward to seeing what they do next, though!
@@farhanrafi8481 idk man, I think the Gemma call was real. It makes sense that Gemma won't just immediately forgive Skye and then just come over in 45 minutes them also stay the night lol
@@farhanrafi8481 Gemma literally said she didn't stay the night, which means we never actually got to see the real Gemma. Also Skye's mom didn't acknowledge Gemma at Skye's apartment at all. I believe she was possessed when she was being attacked by the dancers (demon's hands crawled into her mouth) and everything from that point on wasn't real.
36:40 Morris was definitely real when she *FIRST* met him after that he wasn't real including everything else. The entity was following her and when the entity heard Morris talking about a way to get rid of The entity, The entity chose to step in and try to get her away from him by manipulating her mind making her see her phone repeatedly calling and sending her fans to her so she can get away from him. After that, during the this scene 40:52 she got half-possessed in her apartment with the arm and after that everything was a hallucination, while her body was physically moving and getting ready for the tour, That's why the entity said *"You're not in control Skye"* at 55:16. Terrifying.
Says you. The whole movie seems to be in her head. So if she did make a whole person up in her head then it makes no sense & if not … then they should’ve made that more clearer but instead this movie’s whole motto is “let it slide, the logic will keep logic-ing, trust”.
@packedentertainment2866 What's your deal? It's clear that you're the problem, not the movie lol. The entity is capable of manipulating the human (host) mind whether it's making them see things, feel things, control them or all of the above and OBVIOUSLY the entity is messing with her head throughout the movie but not 24/7. The first half of the movie The entity was just messing with her then the second half of the movie right after she was talking to Morris about how to save her The entity possessed Skye, putting her under an illusion throughout the rest of the movie. It's pretty clear if you actually pay attention to the movie it's just that YOU is just getting tricked up into thinking that everything is an illusion. There's a difference between a character being under an illusion on and off at times and IS under an illusion throughout the whole movie, you know because clearly she wasn't.
@lavendertaffy7591 You can say that yeah. For the first half of the movie The entity was just messing with her, manipulating her mind at times whereas for the second half of the movie she was under an illusion.
The scene where Gemma is driving Skye and she says that Skye can’t drive, notice how when Gemma is driving it looks as she can’t drive either, further confirming it was Skye.
There's hints that a lot of the things she's experiencing are fake. They say she's dehydrated when she's in the health clinic(sort of impossible after drinking gallons of water). Morris doesn't react when she's being called repeatedly on her cell phone when he's detailing a plan to stop her heart. Also, though obviously you can tell(given the reveal), Skye's mom doesn't react to Gemma being in the apartment or her greeting her. I think it was a hallucination from the arm going into her throat onward.
The smile monster just reveals itself to the victim right before the die. So it doesn't have to look or appear realistic. It's just another illusion they see like all the other illusions throughout the movie. Basically like having a nightmare where seeing anything is possible.
@@scottcunningham799 it’s also a supernatural being so it doesn’t have to look like anything we know. And people don’t need to see the first one to know what’s happening in this one so showing the monster is necessary

Naomi really chugged all those bottles! She said in an interview she had to chug five bottles during one of the scenes because they had to keep reshooting the sequence to get it right. Insane commitment right there.
The jump scares in this movie are so good. Don't feel bad, Nikki. I screamed, too. Naomi Scott deserves to be nominated for her acting in this movie. She is amazing.

She played Jasmine in live action Aladdin, pink ranger in power rangers reboot movie, she was in Disney channel movie lemonade mouth, and the Charlie's angels remake

For me, the Smile universe has become a new horror franchise! Because I liked the Conjuring franchise before this, but it became too commonplace, especially after the second Nun film. I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel to Smile, considering how FIREEEEE the ending Smile 2 was!!!!! I'm literally speechless..... Naomi Scotts was incredible in this movie!!!

This was my favorite movie of last year! I love that they made this to kind of analyze and question what really happened. Like did she in reality just see her drug dealer overdose and it triggered her guilt and anxiety and she went off the deep end with drugs? Was the death of her mother a metaphor for how she felt about letting her mother down? Did she actually die in the freezer and the last scene is the hallucination?
