Delta-8 can be harmful and dangerous, and here is why: D8 is a trace cannabinoid found in hemp plants, this means that the cannabinoid is found is small quantities. Due to the inadequate amount of D8 found in hemp plants, growers are forced to extract the cannabinoid from the plant- some will do this solventlessly, while most are doing this with solvents such as butane and other gasses. This extraction process then turns green foliage and flowers into a thick golden oil, this is where your Delta-8 cartridges, rosin/resins, and syringes come from. Since the Delta-8 cannabinoid is found in such trace amounts, any flower labeled 'D8' is sprayed with distillate. You may assume this is safe, but it is not. Raw distillate is thick and needs a liquefier to spray correctly, but unfortunately the liquefier used to spray distillate is harmful to consume and toxic to inhale. To make matters worse, ninety-nine percent of your gas-stations are selling unregulated and untested Delta-8 products. Without lab results, and due to most extractors using solvents, you could be consuming an overdosed amount of residual gasses left in the product.

I wish we would stop saying “high” when it comes to weed how is it any similar to any other “high”’ from drugs. Before y’all get mad why do we get “drunk” and not “high” it’s totally bs to keep weed illegal
The problem with these words, is people have demonized the terms. Delta 9 and other cannabinoids in the plant are a drug. That doesn't mean its bad or wrong lol, thats just science. Its a drug that affects your cannibinoid receptors which makes you high. "High" is just a term used to describe the intoxication you get from the drug. The problem is everyone is a brainwashed turd and automatically assumes drug use is bad. Caffeine is a drug, sugar, nicotine, etc. Its how you use the drug and what you do with it that really matters. Some people are irresponsible with weed and some use it as a tool or medicine. I use it for my scoliosis and general anxiety disorder and its great. For me, less is more with weed. Once I smoke too much it feels more opioid like to me and sedative. Its how much you can handle and how productive you can still be while using it. Just my two cents!

I could always take take it or leave it and preferred to come up than down and enjoyed the effect of cocaine to that of weed. But the reason that I think I ever really did it in the first place was because growing up every one would say you cant smoke weed its illegal and that was it if you would say I can't do this or that guess what my very next order of business was? Never had any use for the law or rules as a young rebel without a cause or a clue, guess I just can't accept being told that I can't do something?
I myself don't smoke but I think that marijuana should be legal across the United States, the federal government will eventually become the biggest drug dealer in the nation as they have always been, along with the guns, the cocaine & other illegal substance's that they control that we get arrested for.
Aren't all the rare reported side effects the same as drinking alcohol which probably 90% of American teens likely experience atleast once as a right of passage?
The high is very similar to a normal high. When I lived in Oregon, people called the cops/went to the ER all the time when they weren't used to the high, and started panicking/having a bad trip. If those 22 reported cases led to injury/death I'd be concern, bit it doesn't seem that way
I have tried Delta-8 vape, makes me feel fuzzy headed, don't like it, but if you can't get weed, I guess it would be ok. I live in Maine where Recreational Marijuana is sold in the dispensaries. I use Sativa for medical purposes, lower back pain, stress relief, etc. Sativa is a strain of the Marijuana plant. I only purchase at legal dispensaries.

I was heavily using the dab pen every day at amazon and I regret it. I got all sorts of problems now, I'm 19 with kidney disease, and sleep disorders. The worst part about it was i got fired for smoking a joint 🤣
@Steve Allen I've found better relief from the indica strain. It helps with migraine, nausea, inflammation and insomnia for me. I have A.S. and degenerative arthritis, i feel for you. Although, i will say, i haven't tried many Sativas for pain
Sativa is uplifting, less THC, still pretty good for pain and head issues. Just smoked a bowl of Blue Dream and am high AF. Hybrids are also good choice, 60 Indica/40 Sativa, I just bought Wedding Pie vape 0.5 gram. Buy from a dispensary especially if it is for a health issue.

Amen!
It should be left to the states. Marijuana and the 2nd amendment do not mix. In Jersey you lose your 2nd amendment right if you obtain a medical marijuana card. FDA: "Delta-8 may be harmful and dangerous."
Also FDA: "Oxycontin is non habit forming and perfectly safe to over prescribe to everyone."
THIS!!!
Delta-8 can be harmful and dangerous, and here is why:
D8 is a trace cannabinoid found in hemp plants, this means that the cannabinoid is found is small quantities.

The problem is everyone is a brainwashed turd and automatically assumes drug use is bad. Every single one of the “adverse events” were people who have never smoked before deciding to take like 8 rips in a row. Told a first time smoker to take one small hit and he took 5 and had all of these effects in the same night…

They could have mentioned cancer risk of smoking marijuana versus tobacco and they could also discuss smoking unadulterated tobacco versus commercially produced cigarettes. This story also would have been a great lead into all the studies showing how psychedelics are helping people with mental health in ways that the drugs pushed by the pharmaceutical industry never could.
