The problem is consumers don't research name brands.....so delta 8 came about so they can secretly get rid of all of the left over reggies and cbd from before legalization. Once i looked at the % and did the math. That 0.3% thc for cbd is a myth because 0.3% on dry weight is around 20% thc. Or less. Some brands are just throwing cbd in a jar and slapping a label on it. But other brands like urb or curevana I've always gotten legit clean products and they get me high af 😂. But then there's these off brands that you can clearly see their carts are old and burnt out.

Nationwide marijuana legalization must be enacted. If alcohol & tobacco (both 100% PROVEN to cause death) are legal, & there’s designated places for addicts to openly shoot up heroin, fentaNYL, or whatever other type of poison they like without fear of arrest, then marijuana(which has NEVER been found to cause death) should DEFINITELY be legal! I reckon that just makes too much sense though.

Polls show 68 percent of all Americans want to end the monstrously destructive, insane war on cannabis consumers. More than 90 percent approve of medical cannabis. Now, even a majority of Republicans want to end this sick, witch hunt. - So why do we still have it? -- Because police and prosecutors build their careers and empires on the fraudulent cannabis prohibition. Because industries like alcohol and pharmaceuticals don't want the competition. Because other interests like the bogus "treatment" quacks, the drug testing industry and the prison industries depend on it for their life's blood. Because many banks and shaky corporations couldn't exist without the laundered money. Because it's a Republican tool weaponized by Richard Nixon to attack and oppress his "enemies' - Blacks and ’hippies.’ -- But we're still winning. 8^)

You are absolutely correct, the older generations are almost afraid of cannabis in some cases. My grandfather told me he has to have a “night cap” to sleep at night. Which is a glass of rum. I told him I really want him to try full spectrum CBD instead. He can’t be drinking every night to fall asleep that is NOT okay. Especially for someone in their 70s. For all the years of wisdom he passed down to me, I finally was able to do the same for him, and he loves the CBD capsules and sleeps like a baby with no side effects ❤ it’s heartbreaking to think our own government demonized cannabis to the point where we actually think alcohol is somehow “less” of a drug. Alcohol, cigarettes, along with over-prescribed benzodiazepines and opiates are poisonous addictive drugs. The government isn’t always right. And they got this one WAY wrong.

He continued to drink at least a beer a day, around lunchtime till he kicked the bucket. Granted, sometimes he'd skip a day or two on occasion. He ended up living till he was 88. I'm sure he would have lived a bit longer if he didn't get Alzheimers. The beer seemed to help keep him a bit happier. At least, that's what I'd like to think. Not that he was mean, maybe stern. But hell, what WWII Veteran wouldn't be. He even lived with a broken back he suffered from at an early age and still worked. Plus, he built his house! That's grit... Gotta say, they don't make em like they used to. Long as they're happy & mostly healthy. Just be there for them.

If I could just go down the road to a legal dispensary and buy marijuana, I'd do that over hemp-derived THC any day. I am thankful because delta 8 and other hemp-derived cannabinoids have really helped me get through this past year with depression, anxiety, and a potential bi-polar disorder. Marijuana is completely illegal in my state, recreationally and medically, and it has not been decriminalized here. They need to stop playing around and just legalize marijuana already. 2023 needs to be the time. It will allow people to buy cannabis with a lot more confidence. People like me who haven't seen a doctor/psychiatrist for mental issues, but know THC helps based on personal experience, will benefit greatly. Not to mention the revenue the states will get (just look at states that have it legalized recreationally). It's a win win.

the ONLY difference between TCHA weed and the weed you find on the shelves of dispensaries, is the way it is cured. Delta 8 weed- doesn't exist. It is CBD weed sprayed with garbage chemicals containing D8 among other shit. THCA is actually real canibus with proper genetics that goes through a super cold cure process, and is harvested differently, leaving the Delta 9 below 0.3. when tested. You can buy "THCA weed" and leave it in a jar for a week, and it'll become federally illegal.

@@IamJay02 there were some serious misrepresentations of the word "poisoning" in this video. Delta 8 poisoning would be when a kid eats a gummies or grandma or grandpa and they start freaking out or the parents freak out and rush Jr to the hospital. We have seen the medical profession do this before with for example COVID deaths. Many people died of other issues during the pandemic but if the person had COVID and died of a gunshot wound for example...they list it as "Died with COVID". The media picks up on these misrepresentations and create a story that does not exist. If you rewatch this video you can see the good RX here do the same shit. For example when he gives the story of a 4 year old eating an entire bag of gummies then convulsing and dying....well how big was the bag? What's the ld50 on Delta 8? How big was the 4 year old? He immediately after using the word "died" says it's very dangerous stuff. Ok how many beers would kill a 4 year old? Are we to say a 4 year old drank a 6 pack and died that beer is "very dangerous stuff"?

Pot smokers don’t often discuss the negative effects of the drug. It can easily bring on a panic attack, & cause severe anxiety if you smoke too much, or are in an unfamiliar environment. It’s also NOT euphoric in the way that opiates or alcohol are, and the strength of most of these products is ridiculously high. If you’re going to try this stuff, I recommend smoking just the tiniest bit to start. Also, if you do start to panic, try listening to relaxing music, & simply go where the music takes you. The more you resist, the faster your heart will go, and the more you’ll have trouble.

Before buying a Delta-8 product, a person should always make sure that the product is third party tested and that the lab the manufacturer uses is legit. These third party labs should be testing for harmful chemicals, metals, bacteria, etc. Also, any added Delta 9 THC should be compliant with state laws on THC concentrations.

Our company does tell us a day before which can be 14-24 hours before...which is cool because our drivers usually leave at 5:30 am in the morning. So that's when we get tested them leave. Most of our drivers drink after work. Maybe a beer or 2 or 12 idk.
Ever since I started working for the trucking industry, its been a thing for me to drink after work... and it has also been a negative impact on my life because I havnt smoked in the past 6 years... but have replaced it with drinking instead 😔

Alot of our drivers say the same thing too. I think the federal law on thc for CDL should have some kind of test that shows within a certain amount of hours just like alcohol... but that will never happen. 🙄🙄🙄

    FUN FACT:
Delta 9 isnt actually stronger. The problem is that the liver adds a hydroxy ion to the Delta 9 structure to make it water soluble so it will get evacuated through the kidneys when the blood flows through them. When the liver makes that change the new chemical shape is called Delta 11 which is 7 times more potent at hitting on the same receptor sites. So technically Delta 9 is almost the same as Delta 8, except that Delta 9 gets converted by the liver to Delta 11 and is 7 times stronger until it finally leaves the body. A similar metabolic process happens when regular THC-A gets converted to THC by heat, then to Delta 11 by the liver. Vaping reduces how much active chemical gets changed by the liver so thats why vaping doesnt feel nearly as strong as edibles. Edibles hang out in your gut getting processed by the liver very slowly increasing the felt effect which also happens to cause you to build a tolerance faster.
Vaping has many advantages over oral route.

It's not lol, he's just making it out to seem as though it is. Anything that's a "concentrate" or "isolate" is a sythetically extracted thing, and furthermore delta 8 also occurs naturally in the hemp plant, which are the only plants that are legal for use in states that have an unaltered adoption of the 2018 federal farm bill limitations.

Considering I sometimes end up eating more Vitamin Gummies than I should, and I took 4 of the Five CBD Gummies yesterday, I think CBD definitely makes one unable to drive and practically if one’s body’s reaction is more sensitive than even me, I say they need to stay home for at least 24 hours because I am still feeling off after 18 hours. Vitamin Supplements I can grab at CVS, Target, Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club doesn’t give me this cognitive block CBD does and I can’t imagine someone younger taking it, and the seizure of the child is something vitamin supplements doesn’t do. I think FDA Regulation is warranted alongside decriminalization of CBD and both Delta 8 and Delta 9 because this has health and safety implications people don’t understand.

All supplements are unregulated unfortunately. Therefore, one has to do their own research even if taking day a vitamin D supplement. I raise the issue with D8 because this is being synthetically made and most of the product on the market is likely unsafe. There are companies adhering to higher standards but they are not the majority. I raise concerns because up til now there has never been a truly documented death related to cannabis and there’s a reason why. The reagents used by some of these companies are very dangerous. Please do research on whatever product before using.

    • @DoctorJack16
      @DoctorJack16  Год назад +3

@@SILLY_BILLY_777 Please see my comment above. The way that CBD isolate is made, most likely through CO2 extraction, is vastly different from the reagents that are used to create D8. D8 is a naturally occurring cannabinoid but it does not occur in large enough quantities within the cannabis plant to be commercially viable hence why so many companies are adding, at times, very dangerous reagents and the consumers do not know until they begin to have health problems.

Well let me put it to you like this... I have got severe PTSD generalized anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder and ADHD with a touch of OCD. I watched my dad die when I was six and then I was handed off to a child rapist until I was about 12 years old... It's kind of blurry after that but a lot of family death and then I enlisted in the military. I had a stellar military career. I was honored at the opportunity to become a ranger with the 75th ranger regiment 3rd battalion. I have under my belt six completed tours in Afghanistan and unfortunately I did get shot on my final tour and that's what ended my military career unofficially and then it officially ended about a year and a half after that. I was a second lieutenant when it was over.
I had a heinous drug addiction for about 4 years. I lost everything and I mean everything My children my wife absolutely every goddamn thing.
I have been drug-free for approximately 4.5 years. Unfortunately I haven't been able to deal with the emotional and psychological issues and it's gotten pretty goddamn bad I mean to the point where removing the top of my head or the back of it or just a gigantic chunk of it with a firearm has sounded like a damn fine idea. And believe me there's plenty of them around. I mean I grew up around them whatever anyway...
All kinds of horrific shit seen over in Afghanistan. And I have been on literally 13 medications for the last year and a half. I have known terminally ill people that haven't been prescribed half of what I am from all these fucking doctors pardon my language. And then I started reading about microdosing...
Here in New Hampshire the only microdosing regiments that I'm aware of is academy in treatment and it's my understanding that ketamine is insanely addictive. So yeah I'm all set with that.
I know from experience in the past that THC is not chemically addictive. I just had to stop about 15 years ago because I was literally having anxiety attacks with just one or two puffs off of a joint or other smoking apparatus. So I stopped. And back in the day I mean we used to eat psilocybin mushrooms like it was our fucking job. So I'm quite familiar with psilocybin as well. Also something that I don't believe you can form a chemical addiction to I mean maybe it's possible but never in my life have I heard of anybody addicted to psilocybin products or lysergic acid or any of its synthesized formulas.
So I've decided that I was going to start microdosing but I would start with THC first. So I've been ordering things like tinctures and gummies with Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC or THCA whatever the hell it is. And guess what? As it turns out it's not a gimmick and personally if I take no more than 5 mg roughly say late in the morning and then again around dinner time... I find that not only is my mood elevated and pleasant... I'm not catching a buzz I'm not getting high I'm not getting stoned... I've also stopped taking all but three of my prescribed medications and I can go to sleep at night now without having to take something to put me there and I don't have horrible fucking dreams and wake up screaming or crying in the middle of some kind of fucking PTSD episode. And it's all thanks to THC products taken in small doses particularly Delta 8 and delta 9.
So I mean you know they could say that Delta 8 causes asshole cancer and cancer of the tip of the dick and I'm still going to take it. You know why? Because it is literally starting to save my life and change me in a good way and when I acclimate to it then I'm going to shift to psilocybin. Granted that's a little more difficult to get but there's a way around that. You want to know what it is? Keep reading if you do...
You see there's a few companies out there that sell mushroom spores in these big syringes you buy that and then you get the proper dirt it's like in a bag and there's an injection port. You clean everything up sterilizing it inject the spores that do not contain silicide and into the growing dirt compound and forget about it for a couple of weeks and you go back and you have mushrooms there that do in fact contain psilocybin. All kinds of different strains as well are available and the prices aren't that bad. So you see that's how you can get around that one.
I have read many many articles about clinical studies personal experiences etc etc and placebo. Placebo didn't really work out so good... However for more than 3/4 of the test subjects on average and everything that I read about... The quality of their lives increased dramatically. They went from being people that were all fucked up with suicidal ideation who lived in hell kind of like me... And now... Not only are they happy with better lives but they're also dealing with the issues that are the underlying cause.
So yes I get it there's some harmful shit potentially In these Delta 8 products. But I mean what the hell can we put in our bodies these days here in the United States that isn't bad for you?
I mean they put ridiculous amounts of chlorine in any kind of town or city water connection. The ground all over the world is just fucking contaminated in so many places. I know people that have had serious health issues from water that's come out of an artesian well and I live in the middle of New Hampshire. It's beautiful up here. I mean Jesus Christ should go to the fucking grocery store everything that you buy has got chemical preservatives and cancer causing toxins. I mean God damn.
So hey thanks for the information I appreciate you know the knowledge but... Like I said Delta 8 could cause cancer of the asshole and the tip of my dick and I would still continue to use tiny doses the way that I am.
If you're still reading whoever you are... Thank you for reading my agitated ADHD rant. I appreciate it. Hey freedom of speech so feel free to leave a comment telling me I'm out of my fucking mind or well godly knows what you will say so have at it.
But before anyone judges me... Take a good fucking look at yourself.
You're not perfect. I'm not perfect. None of us are.
Stay safe out there. And carry a sidearm. And know how to use it. Know the laws federally and in your state. Get shitloads of ammo and you go out there and you practice and practice and practice cuz your marksmanship skills are of the utmost importance because I and my children are not the backstop if you miss your intended target.
    That will be all.

    Delta 8 was terrible.
I had full body tremors and muscle twitches when I took it.
That shit almost took me to the ER.
Now I don't touch it with a hundred foot pole.
I imagine the D8 products I had bought still had shady solvents in them, because old school Delta 9 never gave me those effects.

So the water got a little muddy …maybe this is already been addressed in the over 2000 comments listed here. But at one point it sounds like he was saying that Delta eight and Delta nine are naturally occurring in cannabis, CBD plants and cannabis THC plants. But it’s the isomeric process of that makes it dangerous when they isolate it with delta eight and delta nine varieties. That being said, if they do not use the isomerization process then, I imagine there is a more natural way for delta eight and delta nine to be used correct?

D8 is a minor metabolite of cannabis plant ... D8 will not form much on the plant and there is No Delta 8 Acid ( Race Mixture) like D9 has an acid form ( THC-a ) - CBGa as a minor cannabinoid ( Decarbs to CBG) , is very a minor form Too but very important for the plant in the phytocannabinoid' synthase Stages. seems that anytime humans mes with things we do not get it right ... Our safest bet so far over time has been mimicking nature in some way or another , AS in the case of D8

I’m not a doctor by any means but I’m extremely familiar with the hemp/cannabis industry. Delta-8 THC shows up naturally within the plants bio-mass in very small percentages, but it’s not enough Delta-8 to produce a commercialized product for the masses to enjoy. In order to produce enough Delta-8 for a commercialized market you have to put the cannabinoid through an organic synthesis which essentially replicates the molecule structure of the cannabinoid in return companies are able to have enough isolated Delta-8 to keep up with demand. The Delta-8 extraction process is no different than CBD extraction process the biggest difference is the organic synthesis used to commercialize Delta-8. CBD shows up within the plants bio-mass in high enough percentages that they are able to isolate the cannabinoid immediately and avoid a organic synthesis process of any kind. Truthfully, high quality Delta-8 more than likely won’t hurt you in my opinion it’s completely safe to use but it’s always best to consult your doctor if you have concerns of any kind. The one thing to be mindful of is the company you’re purchasing these products from a majority of the are highly unregulated and are taking advantage of people with real health issue. There’s realistically about 20 companies out there that are upholding the integrity of the industry. I’d personally avoid purchasing any of these product through paid ad’s online as they typically are lower quality especially if you see them on Amazon or facebook.

If you feel awful when taking cannabis it suggests you have a number of underlying issues that you need to address. Cannabis can help us address these feelings that have been subdued but it can be an unpleasant experience. If you are suicidal or have a diagnosed mental health issue strong doses of cannabis might not be for you at the moment. Best wishes everything will work out ❤

I think it's fine to warn people about certain things but it's missing some context which is important. Yes D8 is extracted differently and one needs to research which companies purify the extraction from harmful by products and have independent lab tests. It's going to cost more for those though but it's worth it. There's a reputable company in Utah which makes purified D8 products and one can find them and other companies out there. Not using the bad products aside, I think because D8 is milder than D9, there are people who will take more of it to get a level of effect and end up taking more than is intended which can result in negative side effects.

The only reason these workarounds products even exist is because there are some people and states out there that feel the need to tell others what they can and cannot put into their bodies through regulation. If you just legalized natural cannabis, there would be no need for highly processed cannabis products like this.
