So calm, so calculated. Absolute masterclass leglock game. Congrats 👏
Summary: False reap -> pass leg across -> outside heel hook
1:26 Sloppy knee cut passing, Pearman capitalizes with the easy false reap entry. Passes leg outside for finish.
7:25 Uses k-guard to get opp weight on top of him, switches off to false reap on far leg. Passes leg to outside for finish.
11:45 Arm drag slx entry. Reaps over. Opponent falls, gives kneebar. Pearman switches off to inside heel for finish.
11:53 Standard half butterfly false reap.
19:09 Arm drag to get grips. False reap
Thanks for the timestamps and summaries!
Dispatching Wardzinski in a minute like it's nothing! Impressive
The last guy was proper spazzy, hate rolling with them type! Great job by Pearman, Doctor LegLock 😊
I saw no spaz from wardzinski
@@michaelswann9849watch again
@@michaelswann9849 wardzinski was not the last guy
@@michaelswann9849 bennet was last guy
Adcc encourages being as spazzy as possible
This is Eoghan from Wish but I like that he had so many chances to just destroy peoples legs and kept it nice and safe. Great guy. Sick skills.
I fucking hate when I see people write this weak shit.
@@samuelemeryjiujitsu it's a joke. relax.
Amazing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 cant wait to see him at the worlds
Amazing. Beautiful to watch. I shed a tear of happiness in the end too! COngrats
😊❤ Effective. Will see in finals how he will do.
Great side eye at 15:07 🤣
19:47 how jiu jitsu guys hug - with a gable grip
Real nice guy, cheers for the seminar at ZR!
Stellar performance! 🤙🥳
That dilemma of k guard and trap triangle entry seems really effective !
The other finalist is so calm and collected
Savage entries wow
I can appreciate the skills I'm just not a fan of the just pulling and leg entries game
He looks small for that weightclass too, must be technically sound
dang what a run, beast
That reach back with the far arm to grab the heel at 8:10 was pretty clean
I thought that was Henry cejudo spazzing out at first lol.
amazing
Inside ashi ftw!
what's the difference between inside ash and saddle / cross ash?
@@RubenBJJ96 its basically cross ashi but you transfer the opponents leg to the other side so you can get outside heelhooks
@@trymrsj9855 so inside ashi is the saddle but passing the leg for outside heelhooks, and cross ashi is leaving it on the inside for inside heelhooks ?
@@RubenBJJ96 yessir
8:11 knee popping?
The sounds comes right after the tap and lets go of the heel hook, but yeah on first watch I thought there was a pop as well.
false reap master
what size mats are these?
That was great. But my honest opinion is he will struggle in ADCC. Time after time has proven you have to have more than a strong leg game to win.
You can say almost every trial winner will struggle at worlds hahah. He might be a bit undersized at this weight too.
@@tebowned-1087 My point is about why they will struggle in the current meta.
Uk version of the hillbilly hammer.
People just don't wanna learn to defend leglocks. But leglocks aren't enough to podium in ADCC.
Leg locker and guard puller is the combination of the worst two things in jiujitsu
WAAAH
Dude wins by sitting and twisting ankles.. what a chihuahua
Do you train?
@@McDojoLifeGermany yes
He's torquing the knee, not the ankle. Why do people who don't like jiu jitsu watch and comment on jiu jitsu videos?
Is he not twisting the ankle to put torque on the knee? @@AquaticPorrada
no, he secures a grip on the heel and rotates the lower leg while preventing hip rotation to break the knee. He doesn't "twist the ankle". Again, if you dont like jiu jitsu why tf are you here@@grantlisk3871
Cliff Notes or TLDR; guy pulls and dives for heel hooks for 20 mins.
Lol whata hater
Personally wish leg locks were not a part of jiu jitsu. Sometimes there’s no way to tap on time before serious injury. Who wants to lose a match and also not be able to compete after or potentially have lifelong issues after that? Feel like it ruins the game, although I know without it people feel like a huge part of offense is missing.
you could say the exact same thing with Kimuras and armbars.......
not true, skill issue
It is absolutely the responsibility of ANY competitor to not enter ADCC if they have not trained to a satisfactory degree LEG LOCK DEFENCE. It is absolutely the responsibility of the coach to advise their competitors to NOT enter into competitions in which after consideration may put them at an unnecessary risk based on the degree to which the competitor can defend themselves. This is sport.
Poor take

Wow show 👏...👣
Incredibly boring.
traditional guard puller : "oh my gawd thats embarrasing, he should learn takedowns"
leg locker pulls guard "oh thats so tecnhical i love it slurp slurp"
if a traditional guard puller could get 6 clean subs at trials they'd get slurped too
WAAAH
The guard passing of these guys is trash
pessimistic.. how do you know this guys guard retention isn't really good?
His guard is very good. Made the other guys look like amatuers
A win is a win.... that being said, boring as fuck and one dimensional bjj

WAAAH
lol not boring at all
