    Everyone just calls them “athletic” but forgets both came from a High Level wrestling base. New Jersey wrestling is among the best in the nation.

      I mean the didn't really wrestle at a "high level", they both just wrestled in high school, not some D1 school. It just goes to show you how effective wrestling is in BJJ. Most BJJ guys don't even have middle school level wrestling.

      @@averagejoe4932 I think the biggest skill picked up from wrestling is having a solid base. Most of the journey from white to blue belt is figuring out how your body works and how weight is distributed. Experienced wrestlers come to a BJJ gym already possessing this knowledge. Wrestlers are notoriously difficult to sweep. Add that with some decent takedown ability and you can go far in BJJ.

      as a long term martial arts instructor in tae kwon do I can confiedntly tell you that 1. YOU HAVE NO CLUE 2. YOU ARE JUST A COUCH POTATO AND KEYBOARD WARRIOR 3.       You are absolutely correct. Also jiu-jitsu guys, wrestlers,sambo guys and all these other grappling styles look gay just rubbing and humping each other. Soooo gay 🙄 Hurray for karate and their world wide prestigious tournaments that have some of the richest dudes in the world training there! Oh and ADCC tournaments....gosh there's zero talent there!! Nobody cares about ADCC. They should just ban grappling and have karatecas dip their fists in broken glass with glue on their hands then fight to the death. I died 4 times already doing these kumites i swear im not lying. This isn't even me tying. God you're so right. I love you Amade.
