Most of the journey from white to blue belt is figuring out how your body works and how weight is distributed. Experienced wrestlers come to a BJJ gym already possessing this knowledge. Wrestlers are notoriously difficult to sweep. Add that with some decent takedown ability and you can go far in BJJ.

Nobody cares about ADCC. They should just ban grappling and have karatecas dip their fists in broken glass with glue on their hands then fight to the death.
