This game has an interesting car list. c33, 34 and 35 Laurel, Galant vr4 (6th and 8th gen),toyota mk II and Chaser to name a few. I want to get this game just for the car list.
@FreeBirb I mean it's not modern day great when it comes to realism but it still definitely beats other games of that era, honestly I even put it over GT4 in some regards (mostly due to better tuning control)
@@AnyaKittyMeow In this game the way you tune your cars and the type of car you get is highly important for drifting, this one for example was pretty bad choice to even attempt drifting, its a really lightweight mid engine car so it requires some heavier tuning to even drift. I find myself often coming back to this game because of its car customization and the shear difference in handling between cars and honestly it still feels quite realistic and rewarding to me to this day, though a lot of people come into this game not knowing the differences between car handling and weight as well as tuning/alignment and complain that they cant drift properly (not many stock cars are good for that) Edit: I recorded a video of me doing a drift challenge with the same car in the video above after tuning it up and upgrading it some. I am not great at it but its a huge difference from this.
@Zachary Sullivan I think you forgot to write the comment that this game is so addictive for the car list for touge battle game created by genki and I thought for some point is that people like more cars.... And ussually there just complaining about the hour on the video
i own tokyo xtreme racer drift 1 and to tell you the truth im disappointed with the game play of drift 2 in this video it looks like crap compared to my game why would they take an awsome game (drift 1) and make the sequel just a crapy version of the first one
Justine Platt From review it seems drift 2 physics are much better, this guy just plays the wrong way lol. In drift 1 the car turns in such a way that it seems they have a metal pole running through their center an rotate around it . . . i couldnt play it much, wish i had gotten drift 2 instead. Probably gonna try to sell drift 1 and get drift 2 eventually.
kinda late to comment, but touge itself it's not stricted to drift only
I still love this game.
Drifting through the tight roads is still fun for me!
This game had one of the most realistic physic for it's age. Definitely a must have back in the day if you're a keen driver
radityainderas i have drift 1 and the physic sux, i really need to get rid of that junk and get drift 2 lol
@FreeBirb Well, Drift 1 is a lot worse than drift 2. I have txr3 obviously but D2 is many times better than D1 even though its not that good lol

Its a drift game, why u no drift? I dift most often NFS series but this game looks good too.
anyone can drift in nfs. This game had one of the best physics for it's age, nowhere near comparable with nfs in terms of driving
@FreeBirb Or rather they are better than usual making you actually have to know how to drift and tune a car to actually drift

This game was the best game I ever played on the PS2

About to be 130 likes and 130 dislikes
Well, the US release is better than the EUR one...
ByoNemesis too bad they didn't rebadge all of the cars sold in the US market.
almost looks like battle gear
it looks like an n64 game
lol epic drift)))
And @Billy lord what do you mean 7
I can't believe 164 people liked this video. What part did they enjoy? Looking at the cars for an hour or the 6 minutes of horrible driving?
The annoying asf music doesn't help.
I thought Hiroshima was nuked lol
δεν εκανες σχεδον καθολου drift !!!!!!!!!!!
lol, worst video ever, he didn't even drift at all
