Funny that Weartester is saying there a difference in cushioning between the 11s and 12s but this guy says they’re the same. I’ll trust Weartester since there’s footage of Chris actually hooping in the shoes he reviews.
True that. Nightwing lad the Kobe 6s also as one of if not the best hoop shoe of all-time performance wise and even not that far on appearance which I agree like most of hoopers but this guy doesn't like it at all
@@ytj4660 everyone says the traction is top tier. If they tried something new and the traction wasn’t as good people would be asking why they changed it
The review is lazy... The traction pattern is the same but the compounds they're using on the outsoles are different. It's definitely better than the 11, and the shoe performs differently.
I have the curry 10 and they are absolutely the greatest basketball shoes ive ever worn and its not even close, they are way better than the 11s because the 11s fit me very poorly, the fit between the 10s and 11s is wayy different. and the traction of both is perfect, so why would you change the traction..
What’s crazy is the vast difference of opinion between you and Nightwing/Wear Testers. While you failed to give details of the actual tooling and changes to the shoe, he actually went into the specifics and ways the shoe was improved. I would say overall, it was a very lazy and lack luster review in your part, because there are quite a few key differences you failed to even have knowledge about.
the only problem I have with the curry 11s is that there isent enough hight on the toe box so i used to get scabs from shooting them because how low the hight was my toes were craping up against the top but I fixed that by lacing them a different way. I have both as well and the only difference I sense is the curry 12 is more spacal in the toe box. The 12s are just a little bit more comfertable so I just use the 11s I feel like they are better after i laced them differently I just feel more comfertable in the curry 11s probably because if been playing in the curry 11s longer than the curry 12
I get other's idea of "if it is not broke and it works, don't fix it". I watched Weartesters too and they have the best review about this shoe. But to be fair to Sam, in my opinion, I think what he wants to emphasize is that few people will be more excited on buying something that does not look similar to what they already have. If UA wanted to regain its market value in their hoop shoes, one of the many things they can do is at least mix up some tech that they have... Also people, show some appreciation to Sam for at least trying to voice out other people's comment and has no platform to do it. If you are not sure or you think you do not trust his review, feel free to watch all other shoe reviewers here in YT until you found which one convinces you and which one aligns with your expectation.
If people have clicked to view it, you can just consider it as a reference to respect each person's own opinion. Everyone's experiences and expectations are different. Why do we have to compare this channel and that channel?❤❤❤
big Curry Brand hater lol. Most signatures from Nike/Adidas/NB are the same shoes w basically the same tech they just make it look different every year so you think it's something else. I couldn't care less about the pattern of the traction(especially when it's goated) or even a strobel board
But bro complains they don’t recycle good tractions by Nike. If it works, it works. But with the Curry line. If the court is perfect. You’re in for an inconsistent night.
I’m back playing basketball after 4-5 years out and what has happened to ball shoes now?!! 2016-2019 most sneakers were straight fire but since 2020 I can’t find a shoe that I like the look of, just gonna have to cop some old ones man kyrie 2s, Kobe 11 elites KD 10s were my jam
I own them both... What you complain about for traction doesn't make sense. It's not broke, it works, don't fix something that's not broken. Want to innovate. Create another shoe line with new traction. Don't fuck up the Curry Traction unless you can prove something is better
He reviews shoes it’s fun seeing something new makes you excited to see if it’ll be good or bad but with the same sole for like the last few years a curry shoe doesn’t bring any excitement , if you can buy an older version and change the insole you never really need to buy the new one
Why is it that there aren't many complaints about the tech in Kobe shoes even though they repeatedly feature technologies like Zoom, etc.? Similarly, with Curry's flow and its tech features, it's his patented innovation, and the performance is good, so let's just appreciate the its excellent features like GOAT traction. If you want more impact protection, just add a move-in insole for suffiecient cushioning. If you really don't like that flow and prefer a durable outsole like Sammy, go retro with Curry 1 or 2, (with move in insoles) I don't get it, you praise it at the same time you murmur against it. Realtalk, Weartester is a lot better in reviews salute to Nightwing.
I agree they should change the traction pattern since the shoes were designed for elite players like Curry. What you guys said “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.” sounds more like an excuse for lazy design🤷♂Since UA already saved the budget from the rubber sole mold. They should treat this flagship signature shoe of their brand more seriously.
Trust in Weartester , every time I watch the channel and he talks about Curry, he only criticism the curry´s shoes, and when there is something really good, you don't change it, you leave it and you improve it little by little. For example, who wouldn't like to have the traction of the Kobe 9 or the Curry 2 in all their shoes, because they are elite and they should innovate with other patterns and they have done so with the Curry Retro. In conclusion, Curry's new shoe is good and it is also at a lower price, which adds a point and there is no need to throw so much hate at it, because it is one of the best shoes for point guards that you have on the market for the indoor.
Curry brand has missed the opportunity. It's cute to do this flow thing for 3 years, with the 8, 9 and the flotro 4. But after that the 10, 11, 12 and the flooded flotros just making it look worse and worse. Stop when you can. Instead of having 10 lame signature shoes, it's better to have 3 iconic sigs.
@@legoatttt yes, in fact it’s so grippy on clean floor it hurts my toes, and sprain my ankle for the foot is locked by the shoe. On dusty court, it slides all over the place. But I didn’t say it’s bad, it’s just not original and what started to be an ok selling point is now just mediocre and lazy exercise.
You complain about the weirdest aspect of Curry's shoes yet never hold the other signature shoes from other manufacturers to the same bizarre standard.
When you don't have technical reasons to change the outsole. You just basically said you're just bored. What a review. Btw, that's the shoe model that recently gave gold medal to USA basketball 😅
It has zero squeek that has nothing to do with performance. It squeeks that has nothing to do with performance Everybody knows that He literally says this every video lol he is running out of things to say😂😂😂😂
you complain about the outsole but I mean "if it ain't broke, dont fix it" 🤷♂
When it works. If court isn’t spotless, you’re… fucked!
😂
I was about to make the exact same thing. 👍
Just a excuse for the lazy design😂 it’s not designing a AH-64 Apache helicopter.
only awesome on pristine courts. less than 5% of the courts are pristine. they need to fix it.

Gotta wait for doctor zach my guy
@@boonmercado5114 I like Dr Zach’s reviews. I’ll bet he mentions diaper elastic during his review of the 12s.
EXACTLY
Why do you care so much about changing up the traction if it’s good??? Doesn’t make any sense
You know the word “lazy” right? And this kind of traction pattern have been used for 5 years. It doesn’t change also mean that it’s not improving🙂

It’s still a b tier shoe. So, irrelevant anyways.
