    I like the landscape plate. I'd love to try that. I've seen Vaughns and admire his work lots.

      @@andreamcveety8193 I love the red clay too. I'm wondering if Plainsman 390 might work - it fires red at cone 5. I'm sure you could get that in Ont.

      @@auroraskies8827 I have used plainsman a lot. It doesn’t get as deep red as that. It is nice but not quite as rich.

    Everything is lovely! I esp love the fluted bowls!!
    What is the black claybody? I just tried the Laguna B-3 brown on a Cone 5. No bloating so far.

    • @hobblecreekpottery
      @hobblecreekpottery  Год назад +1

      It's Aardvark's charcoal. Still having issues with it, but willing to play a little more with it. 😀

    • @SuesOriginals
      @SuesOriginals Год назад

      I used to use Cassius by Aardvark and just got a bag of Charcoal because the Cassius bloated so much. I’ve made several pieces with it with no bloating. I fire to cone 5 though so that may be why. It’s not as smooth as the Cassius. More gritty.

      @Sue Vincent I love throwing with the Cassius Clay. Beautiful stuff but finicky.

    What tool did you use for the fluting on the beautiful blue bowls?❤

    • @hobblecreekpottery
      @hobblecreekpottery  11 месяцев назад

      I've had it for years and don't remember where I picked it up. It comes with 3 blades. Maybe Google pottery fluting tools? I'm sorry, wish I could be more help.
