No, no need at all! I purchased the 32GB version myself and it works perfectly! This video was just for anyone that bought the other versions 😄 - or any crazy people that want to upgrade to 64GB!
Do you know if these ram cards would work on a different motherboard for a "real" pc? I'm looking to upgrade to a bigger pc and thinking of using these ram cards or maybe even other components for that system to reduce the cost
You can 100% reuse the SSD/hard drive in a normal PC. The RAM used in the TRIGKEY is a SODIM (small ram) where as normal PC's usually use full sized RAM, so you wont be able to reuse that.
@@ErrorCitizenX tysm for the info! that sucks bc the huge cost of building and maintaining a gaming pc really holds me back from giving up my console. I was hoping to drop maybe 100€ of cost with my mini pc components but even if I transferred the SSD it has only 500gb so I'd have to upgrade it anyway.
@@sleepenjoyer-on2dr Building a PC is a slow process. I started off with something really budget like 10 years ago and each year just upgraded one component. Now I practically have a super computer. Too many people try to build the biggest and best thing straight away and get caught up in specs - bad move IMO. You can build a PC that competes with a modern console for like €550
Very informative thanks if you buy the 32gb version would there be a need to upgraded?

@ErrorCitizenX Ah ok thanks and yeah 64gb is insane lol but star citizen is hungry but 32gb is plenty
@@ErrorCitizenX I think max supported RAM is 32GB.
@@px3m The Trigkey website advertised 64GB.
@@ErrorCitizenX can you please show me the URL where is that. I only found on the Trigkey website that is supported up to 32GB
