    opel had an awesome performance on the brake killing course in nürnberg and finished with a great victory p1-5.

    Loving the variable cooling air intakes on the Opels. And of course it offered an opportunity to place some more sponsor stickers :-D

    フランキッティーは若さが出ましたね。
    ハイテク満載と言われていましたけども、バトルが多くて非常に良いレースでしたよね。
    ベテランと若手、3つのサプライヤーとそれらを使うレース屋が良いバランスを保っていたレースでした。

    it is funny how the germans changed the rules by allowing mercedes and opel to run v6 engine while they had no production v6 engine on their production vehicles. dtm cars were suppose run production derived engines. Mercedes claimed that their v6 engine was derived from a v8 production engine.

      Thats because Alfa Romeo was whipping their asses soo bad they had to bend the rules in their favor, Boring German Cars. For what I understand Alfa Romeo always wipped the Germans even back in the olden days where Audi and Mercedes had join to create the "Auto Union" with a Massive 10 to 12 cylinders engines and STILL in the end Alfa Romeo with their little v8 WUPPED THAT ASS. So called "Silver Bullets"...psss SILVER BULLSHIT. Viva Alfa Romeo!!! BRAVISSIMO!!!!! LOL!!!

    This is the best touring car championschip of all time!! In 1996 OPEL win the championschip!!! But the FIA has ruined this wonderful series!!
    I live in berlin, and sometimes, when I drive with my Insignia OPC over the Avus, I often think on this series. And in my minds I hear the powerful engines !!

    Look at 2:06 the Franchitti Mercedes is adjusting Ride Height.

      That's a very interesting observation from you. I think active suspension or hydraulic suspension mechanisms were forbidden already after the 1994 season but Mercedes had moveable weights traveling on rails inside that car so maybe what you see here is Franchitti resetting those weights into neutral position since handling a balanced car would be easier for the marshals.

      @@armorgeddon This was not a active suspension. It is only a hydraulic lift function to cheat the reglement. I know the cars well 😁
