- First and foremost, a disclaimer: this is my first video shot with the new camera and I had a few hiccups while using it including figuring out how to balance it on my gimbal (please forgive the bonking noises in the first 10 minutes of this video). I think the new camera will solve a lot of the issues I had using my phone (small memory storage, lagging, less ability to control settings manually) once I get more used to it. Thank you for bearing with me!
It's been excruciatingly hot in Los Angeles for the past month or so, but I really wanted to get outside and explore some more neighborhoods! I decided to take a stroll through Los Feliz, one of my favorite neighborhoods to grab brunch and window-shop. This charming neighborhood is located just south of Griffith Park and is home to the recently closed single-screen Vista Theatre which was recently purchased by Quentin Tarantino with plans to turn into a cafe and barcade. During my sweaty stroll, I decided to take a Snack Stop at Jenni's Ice Creams for a cold treat. Please enjoy this walk with me through Los Feliz. :)

He's walking up Hillhurst to Los Feliz Blvd. Actor Leonardo Di Caprio lived with his mother on Hillhurst and attended nearby John Marshall High School for a time. On the right, at the corner of Finley and Hillhurst was my old barber shop, Mr. Rons, long gone. At the corner of Ambrose and Hillhurst my best friend Nick lived there. Thank you for the tour of memory lane
So glad you got to revisit some nice memories through this video!
I wish there were more touring videos of los feliz :(
Oh good to know! It's a great neighborhood so I'll definitely plan to make more walking tours in that area. :)
@@streetview_hd omg thank you sm 💕
Great video but got fed up with Woody Wood Pecker
Honestly, me too 😅 I’ve upgraded my equipment though so no more Woody in the newer vids haha
Regarding which neighborhoods to explore, I'd like to see more of the nice ones like Los Feliz, not the crime ridden ones. Enjoyable video too by the way.
Thanks so much for watching! I’m so glad you enjoyed it :)
amazing.
I'm your fan.
Thank you for enjoying this walk with me :)
why is no one walking in the streets? i just realised why los angeles feels quite lonely to me sometimes.
LA is a definitely a car-prominent city. I think a big reason why is because the public transportation system is extremely underdeveloped compared to many other metropolitan cities in the world. They’re slowly working on its expansion so I hope there’s more access to public transpo in the future which will also encourage more walking
@@streetview_hd If you think that LA had one of the best public transport systems 100 years ago...
Is this shot with the new Canon 660 Geiger-Müller counter edition?
This is shot with a Sony ZV-1
There is a Gurudwara near to Los Feliz called Hollyvood Sikh Gurudwara
It’s true, I walked by this the other day!
@@streetview_hd I am trying to contact with them and nobody answere
Hey, you walked right by my apartment and didn't stop to say hello!
Haha I’ll make sure to stop by next time ☺️
On what streets is the famous village? Hillhurst and what other street? Thank you.
Hillhurst and Vermont have the most shops, restaurants, theaters, and happenings in Los Feliz. I'd recommend spending some time in this beautiful neighborhood on a quiet weekend :)
@@streetview_hd Thank you so much! Keep posting videos.
@@ralphquintero3350 Been a bit busy but will soon get back into posting regularly. Thank you so much for watching :)
🙏🏻💐💐💐💐🙏🏻🤗🥰👍😊
Thanks for watching the video :)
Rossmore Ave. A couple of miles or more from where you are. South West by Beverly.
That's Larchmont village. More than a couple of miles from Los Feliz.
@richardturner2455 I love both neighborhoods :)
If nothing happens , I am going to visit Los Angeles on September and I looking for a nice place near to Los Feliz .
It’s a great neighborhood! Hope you enjoy your trip!
@@streetview_hd Thanks al lot and take care yourself dude
Looks like a nice neighborhood. What’s the rent? I’m trying to leave NYC. 😫😫😫
Los Feliz is awesome! Fairly pricey, but maybe still affordable by NYC standards 😅
You past right by luzifer’s and didnt pick up a pie ☹️
Haha, maybe next time. I didn’t wanna disrupt the walk lol
Sounds like a noisy area.
Not terribly! It’s a moderately lively area, but not too crowded :)
@@streetview_hd It's sounds clangy, bangy, and a hot mess. Sorry.. just my observation.
