@@stefanassmann7082no, no, you didn't overdo it, it's just perfect! I meant the 80"s pop kind of synths after the regular symphonic and choir stuff. It's pretty amazing too! Nothing is overdone, fab track from start to finish, and as always, could listen to it longer in full song format 🤘
@@stefanassmann7082 In Defiance of Existence is a classic. I saw them support Dimmu Borgir back when they released Puritanical. Wait, actually I think they were supporting cradle of filth. It’s so long ago I can’t remember!
@@MetalPinky It must have been a support for Cradle Of Filth, otherwise Thomas Rune Andersen would have had to play two concerts in a row (Old Man´s Child and Dimmu Borgir). 😀Yeah, it really is a great album, but for me it will always be the first album I heard -> Vermin 🤘It's so dark and brutal which I love. You can definitely hear the influence in some of my SWOLAs. 😀
Thanks a lot for your feedback 🤘🤘🤘I am recording the synths / orchestra parts on my m-Audio midi keyboard, which you can see in my very first Swola (number 82), I rarely program string parts, only when I need really fast staccato parts. ruclips.net/video/PFS-U7CXVCw/видео.htmlsi=t6dTxzkr87JO8Jox

@@DaveAtonal Aaaah, ok, I thought it sounds funny and it’s a bit different from what I usually do, so I kept the pop synths 😅

Hey man, loved this entry! Its first few parts remind me of Old Man’s Child… so good! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

@@stefanassmann7082 haha yeah. Didn’t Baulder also play with Dimmu for a bit? I’m sure I’ve seen him - maybe on death cult Armageddon?

Hey Stefan, nice entry. Really like the lead with a way type of effect and I think I hear a bit of HM-2 on the rhythm parts.
Thank you very much bro 🤘🤘🤘nope it’s HM-2 , I always use neural dsp and maybe they have a similar sound
Awesome stuff mate!! Just wondering, do you play the orchestral sections with a midi keyboard or do you use a mouse?
