Lol the cheap walmart spacer lift, the China bomb mud terrains on cheap autozone special wheels combined with the sound of the exhaust! So fitting for a domestic!😆
I closed my eyes & visualized a Need For Speed modified Chevy Cobalt. I open my eyes & saw a lifted crew cab 🤦🏻♂️ I literally forgot it was a truck at first.
GM would've been better off putting the old 3800 series engine like they had in the Pontiacs and Buicks back in the 90s and 2000s in these trucks if they were trying to be fuel efficient and sound similar to the ecoboost F-150s.
Lol, you obviously know nothing about the technology that went into making this a powerful and more fuel efficient alternative to the higher displacement engines. 310 hp and 350 lb feet of torque in a WIDE power range, in a full size truck that weighs less than 4800 lbs. That’s better than anything those old 3800s could put down.
@@nelsonvanvickle8862 actually I do. I get it they're trying to make vehicles more fuel efficient and that's alright but given GM'S track record and build quality this engine wont last but I guess that's planned obsolescence.
@@nelsonvanvickle8862 still hating huh 😆 🤣 😂 this tour truck ain't it?
@@chaseman94 nothing wrong with that. it's really the epa. it's ruining all companies right now. you pay for a v6 you deserve it. same with a v8. naturally aspirated is the best way to go.
@@chaseman94 2cyl turbo next.
I'll stick with my Flowmaster 44 series muffler on my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom V-8 with a S&B cold in take makes a big difference..4 cylinder sucks..tires and wheels are nice.
Did you keep the cat.. did it set off the o2 sensor if you did
They're suppressed when they're in neutral or Park when you hammer it it opens the valves up more it's a complicated little four cylinder
I like the straight pipes better.
Can I remove the muffler and do a turndown?
I just pee’d from laughing so hard when it drove off 🤌
Same 🤣🤣🤣
Yea, sealed the deal for me not to straight pipe mine. Shop told me it will just never sound like a truck.
I say keep the stock muffler. I have the custom truck and it's staying stock on the exhaust.
I actually like the sound.
Sounds awesome with that turbo
Hello I can't doing too my 2023 1500 3l diesel ???
These sounds so sick
Go with unequal headers subaru style. Will sound awsome.
does it void the warranty ????
I laughed my ass off when you said, but take a listen to this😂 it sounds like a Toyota Corolla
Never thought I would see the day this happened. Can’t help but laugh. It better be GREAT on gas to make this kind of sacrifice. I love turbos, I wish they would have put them on the 5.3 instead.
8 cylinder engines are becoming dinosaurs. Only a matter of time. More R&D dollars being put into these smaller engines. Makes just as much power, and more reliable.
Chevy Dronemaster aka please don't step on my cow.
Better save that OEM muffler, he will be back.
Worse than an Eco-sludge!
The resonator helps the tone big time
Unfortunately their shop was build in the middle of a 16 lane freeway with a speed limit of 95mph on 7% slope because the exhaust sounds are drowned out by the highway.
i'd never thought a half ton pickup...would end up kind've sounding like a Fiat 500 Abarth
Is the warranty still good?
Yes
What codes does this populate when straight piped ?
None
Still sounds like a sick 4cyl. Nothing can ev er be done about that.
What size lift is installed?
What about interior resonance when it goes into 2 cyl mode?
4 cylinder truck🤣 *ecosport Chevy Cruze engine in a Silverado* Chevy is a joke
You're a special kind of person to even bother putting an exhaust on a 4 banger Silverado
